I am concerned about our generation's lack of progress. While other countries are focusing on technology development and other initiatives to make their country stand out globally, we seem to be preoccupied with content creation and copying each other. Let's continue romancing will social media. Only TIME will reveal the consequences of our choices. Mynd44 Fergie001 - Front page worthy, Nairaland should move Naija forward

Like the white man caught doing a substandard road by minister of works earlier this month and it was made known na our people teach am the way to do am substandard so that they will all share the money. So the Chinese are more interested in finishing the products in their own country so as to maximize job opportunities for it citizens but our own dummy political class are just after the bribe and not the interest of the country I believe if the president has the political will. It can be actualized. Do you? |

Nigeria needs to upscale the manucfaturing industries like Indonesia, Brasil, India are countriesn that have done so by requesting from China. The type of products that China is exporting to these countries have been shifting. Chinas export of intermediate goods or goods that require further processing to become a finished product should be our prority. Nigeria should prioritize the development of her own manufacturing industries, we should stop the importation of finished product from China but focus our interest on Chinese investment, technology and know how to develop our own domestic capacities and jobs. This was the exclusive request by the Indonesian government recently to the representative of Chinese company. This is also where the importance of intermediate goods come in, since they are used in the manufacturing of final products or adding value. This includes getting a machinery and tool to produce the final consumer products. Leet me summarize it with the following examples. 1. Request Chinese manufacturers of electronics to set up the plants in Nigeria. eg. Smartphones, laptops, CCTV cameras, Television, bulbs, speakers etc. (This will create more jobs in Nigeria and start building the capacity of the next generation for independent manucfacturing. 2. Getting machineries and tools for industries here to start producing packaging materials. 3. Revive Ajaokuta steel for iron and steel supply cos industries locate near raw materials . 4. Governmeent mist provide enabling envinronment for them 4. We can begin to export finished products to other African countries. Government can take a bold step of banning these prroducts and see if they wont come to locate their companies here. We have the market size Cc Fergie001 mynd44

The status quo will remain until Nigeria stops doing the bidding of IMF and world bank. Developed economies don't mean well for Nigeria. Imagine when 1 Naira was 1 Dollar in the 70s IMF said Nigeria should devalue Naira and we have 1600 Naira to 1 Dollar in 2024 now. But what can we do when the govt has borrowed billion of doollars from these world bodies and are bound to do their bidding. We need a drastic change. Tinubu is worsening the situation and seems clueless with his team. All indicators and not helping the masses. |

Samunique: This is what you wanted exactly. Hope you will get your medal as well.
Revelation is responsibility, God showed you to do something about it but you refused to bcs you wanted shares and like on NL.
Supposed you saw your mother dead in the revelation ( God forbid ) won't you pray to God to change it ?
That's what I was telling you in the subsequent post that you should pray about it.
As a man of the spirit, I understand spiritual things, that's I wrote to you personally to pray about the revelation bcs God chosed you he wanted you to do something about it. But you went for short fame rather than continuity and spiritual growth...... Bro. You can see i didnt quote that thread. Its just a prediction. Its a game afterall. Don't take it too serious or spiritual. |

robosky02: AFCON 2023: Jose Peseiro’s wife and daughter celebrate Super Eagles after reaching finals
Jose Peseiro’s wife and daughter have joined Nigerians worldwide to celebrate the Super Eagles on reaching the finals of AFCON 2023 AFCON 2023: Jose Peseiro’s wife and daughter celebrate Super Eagles after reaching finals
Jose Peseiro’s family are rooting for Nigeria in the final showdown of the AFCON 2023.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have soared to new heights in the AFCON 2023 tournament, and the celebrations are not limited to the players and fans alone.
Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Nigerian national team, received heartfelt support and jubilation from his own family following the team's historic qualification for the finals.
In a heartwarming display of familial pride and solidarity, Jose Peseiro's wife, Fatima, and daughter, Susana, were present at the Peace Stadium in Bouaké to witness Nigeria's thrilling victory over South Africa's Bafana Bafana.
As the Super Eagles clinched their spot in the AFCON finals for the first time since 2013, Fatima and Susana Peseiro shared in the euphoria alongside fellow supporters.
Susana, in particular, took to social media to capture and share the joyous moment with a snapshot of her family during the match.
Accompanied by the Nigerian flag and eagle emoji, her Instagram post displayed the pride and excitement felt by the Peseiro family as they cheered on the Super Eagles to victory.
Jose Peseiro's tenure as head coach of the Super Eagles has been met with skepticism and scrutiny, with doubts lingering over his ability to guide the team to success.
Following Nigeria's failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup under his leadership, Peseiro faced mounting pressure to deliver results in the AFCON 2023 tournament.
However, Peseiro and his team have defied expectations, showcasing an impressive defensive record and resilient performances throughout the competition.
With Nigeria now on the cusp of reclaiming continental glory in the finals against Ivory Coast, Peseiro has the opportunity to silence his critics and cement his legacy as a successful coach for the Super Eagles.
With the unwavering support of his family and the Nigerian faithful behind him, Peseiro stands poised to lead Nigeria to their fourth AFCON title and etch his name in the annals of Nigerian football history, when Nigeria and Ivory Coast lock horns on February 11.
