Congrats on your admission in Ontario. Anyone can get admission anywhere. i'm in Seneca college already. accommodation is the least of your problems.. Get your TRv first. the best and fastest way of TRV is online route. mine took 3days and a day. God did it for me though. there are houses everywhere for you to rent when you come. expensive houses but you gotta rent according to what you can afford. these are the list of documents i used when i applied..
waec, nysc cert, statement of result, transcript, intl passport, LGA identification,
statement of purpose (its a letter you'll address to the embassy why you you chose to study in that skl and in Canada),
two recommendations letter (one must come from a lecturer in your department where you graduated, the other can be a family friend..
not a family member), affidavit of sponsor (notarize in high court), admission letter from skl that offered you admission in canada, some people pay skl fees (so if you a paid, then add skl receipt, attestation letter from your parish priest in your church, add your sponsor's birth cert and yours, documents of properties and statement of account, if you get registered biz or your sponsor does, add the document, i think its called cac. tax clearance of biz, if your sponsor get houses where tenants dey, he should get a document of the survey worth of it so you can add it with receipt duplicates that shows tenants pay rents, getting the bank statement(tell the manager to add a cover page recommending that your sponsor is reliable and dependable and this letter should be addressed to the embassy.. God's mercy comes first in all you do

2) can anyone suggest any legit site I can rent accommodation in ontario for a few months

congrats once again. Am glad you succeeded. I flew with emirates. You have to browse and check the nearest international airport to Newfoundland. So if you get there, you can now use a subway or cab depending on how close it is. Canada is expensive. Come with enough money. So you won't get stranded while planning to settle down. There'd be a lot of running around before you settle. There's job everywhere. Combining work and skl is hectic. Hoha.. But people do it. You just gotta be smart. Any airline is okay once you can afford it.

to everyone coming to Canny, please convert your money to USD and bring it over. i don't know much about dollar account in naija. i use GT bank. my money is in naira. i use my naira master card here. each time i make a withdrawal here, i'm being charged $2 for canadian atm and GT bank charges me N420. and the highest i can withdraw at a time is $400. if i need $1k, i have to make three withdrawals and i loose $2 for each ie $6 and then N1260 from GT bank charges. its killing.. don't fall a victim

to the best of my knowledge, the word "relationship" is for adults. has to do with two parties with mutual feelings right? strings are attached. if you know what i mean. there might not be sex kicking off but finishing touches comes around as time goes on. if you feel you're not strongly believed in relationship cos of sex or romance involved, check google wherever you are, there must be a convent school around.. or don't go into relationships at all
