I wanted to pay for copyscape subscription some days back and I made a post on the e-currency thread. Samoke contacted me. He said he had $10 which he could use to pay for my subscription. I felt nobody would be willing to scam another of $10 so I pad him the naira equivalent and stories started.

Samoke2018 is a scammer.
He also runs another account, Samoke. I believe he is hatching that account for his future scamming purposes.

First of all in your story, u said you sent him Payoneer fund, did u Pay money into his account. How did u get his account details and name. U need to be sure u are after the right person cos most of these scammers uses people's account especially sellers on localbitcoin to withdraw money and u will end up chasing the wrong dude. I'm in Lagos and can arrest him within 3 days but u have to prove that the owner of this account is actually the person u sent Payoneer fund so we won't tarnish someone's image for nothing and end up messing up the case.
This is just my candid opinion.

Yes, you are correct. Most of them use people's account to receive money. But my Intel gathered that this guy was the one who scammed me.
Again, he didn't give me his account number, however, within the same period he scammed me, he was also trying to scam some other people of some naira here on nairaland. And those were the people who provided me with his account details.
If you noticed, all these happened last year but I haven't been quick to post details about him because I was gathering more information about him including his address. And I am sure this the criminal's real details.
Another twist, if by chance he is not the person, he will definitely lead us to the criminal.

You are very very very correct. I am also in the writing niche, I must tell you, most Nigerians don't know any other thing about writing apart from article writing. There are many sub-niches in the writing niche that sell very well. But people are not ready to think. They want to be writing $5 articles.

Your number 4 and 5 are not hot selling. Almost every small boy in India and Pakistan can install and tweak a WordPress blog, so that niche is already saturated with people who want to do anything for $5.
Proofreading and editing is also over saturated. Anyone can proofread. And with the help of tools like Grammarly, the job even becomes so easy. Again, niche is over saturated.
You are right with your number 1 and 3. But the average Nigerian just wants to earn quick bucks on fiverr and doesn't want to learn. They want the gigs they could offer without skills. While those who want to learn don't have money to get resources. Yes, for you to learn online advertising, you have to spend money not just to acquire the training, but to practice what you are learning. If you don't practice it, there is no way you could master it.
However, if you have the money and time, learn OP's 1 and 3.

You are correct. I also got an Indian guy who has been paying me $10 per article. Since these articles are in my field, sometimes I don't even stress myself to write them. Next month, we are going to do ten of such articles.
I have worked with many Indians and they are not as bad as people portray them.

I understand that the OP is just trying to lure people in and sell them a product.
That said, freelancing is still a good way to earn money in Nigeria.
If you have a good skill, are smart, then you can earn a lot of money from freelancing.
You must also think outside the box too!
