Bro. I’m currently in this same predicament, I have a USA 2017 account which was deported yesterday , and I was I asked to verify immediately . I use a logo as profile pics, not my real name and a US number.

Please what procedure did you go through when you verified yours? Did you change the name and phone number on the account?

How did you go about the verification? International passport? Or another ID? Looking forward to your prompt response. It will go along way.

See what I did:

1. I already changed my U.S number to Naija number - that was last year when I voluntarily wanted them to deport me, yet it did not happen. So, you should change your phone number to Naija number because they will likely send you a link to that number when you are doing the verification, especially if your phone cannot snap QR codes.

2. I was sent a "deportation" email on Sunday. In the email, they asked me to upload my original photo.

3. On Tuesday, I went to my profile >> settings, and changed the fulname I had there to my sister's full name as it appears on her ID. Already, my profile description does not contain a name. But if you included a name in your description, I mean all those, "Welcome to my profile, I am John Smith, I am a social media strategist...bla bla"you need to remove it. See image below to understand what I mean when I said I went to my profile settings to change the full name there.

4. That same Tuesday evening, I uploaded one sharp studio photo of my sister as my profile avatar. Before this time, I was using a random logo.

5. Then wednesday morning, I did the verification using my sister's voter's card. After a few minutes, I recieved a notification, "Congrats, you have verified your ID on Fiverr." Today is Friday, and no other issues. So, I am assuming I have no other issues.

I used my sister's voter's card to verify my account on Wednesday morning. And I received an email from fiverr saying my account has been verified. So, what are you saying?

There are three options there:
1. International passport
2. Permanent ID card (which I believe is the same as PVC) because in Nigeria, there is no other thing like permanent ID card.
3. Driver's license.

Those are the three options there. I chose number 2, then uploaded my sister's voter's card and I received a notification few minutes later that my account was verified.

I'll advise you in your own interest to just open a naija account and build it up.

Because no matter how you run, fiverr will still catch you and disable your account or if you are lucky like me, they may just deport the account.

My account was deported on Sunday and I was immediately asked to do verification. This is an account that I have been running since 2017, exactly two years now. I have been dodging all the bullets and hammers until Sunday when they finally caught me. I was even lucky my account was not disabled.

I have done the verification as required and glad to finally be home.

If you have money, go and do international passport.

They are accepting voter's card but since you cannot readily get a voter's card, an international passport is your next best option.


I would have advised you to use another person's ID for it but since you have already uploaded one of your ID once and it was rejected, if you try with another person's ID, your account could be terminated for "multiple attempts."
