Well let check the verse out.

"Nehemiah 8:6 King James Version (KJV)
6 And Ezra blessed the Lord , the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground."

1. The verse says that after he read the book finish all of them stand up, raised there hand up and bow there head, so please how did it correspond to your gymnastic exercise because last i check the verse did not says that they repeat the same process 7 times like you people use to do.

2. Let check the verses before that verse you quoted.

"5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people wink

and when he opened it, all the people stood up:"

The verse let us know that.

1. Esra is facing the congregation with some people beside him which you people dont do.

"4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam."

2. The First verse of the chapter let us know that they are there to learn the law of Moses not for worship as you inscribed. They only honor God because his Book was about to be opened and be teach.
So i guess it no more what the prophet did but what people do. Lolz. Well i will be glad if you are going to show me where God command them to worship him like that, or where his prophet worshiped him like that.
