How I end up washing people's poo as a graduate with 2:1.

Growing up, I used to admire graduates a lot especially the way they do things, conduct themselves and the rest. You see them living in a good house and in the morning, they dress up properly, go to work and return in the evening. Non-graduates of course used to jealous graduates a lot as it were. Fast forward to today, the table has sharply turned 360°. Now, graduates have not only been ridicule but reduced almost to nothing. Non-graduates who learnt one skill or the other are the ones kicking money bags to the bank.

Well, I finished university 3 years ago and couldn't find a job despite aggressive job hunting due to obvious reasons. Being the first in the family, the pressure was/is already much on me. The aged parents have tried within their powers thinking the best they could do for me was training me to acquire a university degree but in today's Nigeria, it's glaringly not enough.

Let me not bother you all with long story but I don't see myself continuing with this kind of life any longer because it's not what I envisaged.

According to the heading, I graduated with second class upper division which of course is a good grade considered very employable according to society standard and labour market. Despite this, I searched for job in every nook and cranny I could but to no avail. Everyday I have to eat food, rent expiring, bills piling up, parents looking up to me and younger ones who are already in school every now and then would call and ask for assistance and which I didn't have. Out of no option, I accepted an offer to work as a laundry man in a hotel for 15k/month. That's how I thought I have at least got something doing. Frankly speaking, I didn't have an in depth knowledge of the job description.

Obviously, this would be a long story but let try and shorten it. Do you know that I have drained so much from my body in the course of this work physically and health wise? Practically, I wash between15-25 bedsheets/duvets everyday as the hotel does not have washing machine....parked since it got spoilt. Consequently, my pams have developed thick skin which is now very tough, rough and scratchy.

However, the above might not just be my only anger. More annoying is that, some guests are so inhumane. Is it because you paid money to lodge in the place that's why you believe you have to do wickedness? Why I'm writing this is because of the very one that happened few days ago. Actually that wasn't the first time. It's been happening over and over before. Could you believe a guest used the hotel bedsheets and defecated on it, folded it and kept it and checked out. As a laundry man, of course it landed on me and I was the one who washed the poo off. Oh God! Like I said, that wasn't the first time although other ones only used the bedsheets to clean their buttocks (for whatever reasons because I believe tissue paper is always there) after defecating but this particular guest 'pooed' fully inside the bedsheets, folded it and dropped it for whoever to come carry it and wash. I'm not writing fiction here please. This is 100% real of what I'm going through in the supposed 15k/month job. How wicked? When toilet was there?

Moving forward, equally, I can't count the number of times I have washed menstrual blood from bedsheets. These men bring even women who are on menses to sleep with them and end up pouring menstrual blood all over the bedsheets and I would be the one to wash it. God why?

Most annoying of all is, the management pays salary on the 26th of the following month. How inhumane some people can be? In other words, I have to work 2 months to get 1 month salary or simply put, 15/2=7500. In reality, that is the salary I'm receiving as a graduate. When I picked up the job, my plan was to raise up to 50k within the shortest possible time and move to something else, but unfortunately, I don't even know what I'm doing now. I have been in the job for 6 months now with nothing to show for it. This is why I said I can't continue with the present condition. The situation is beyond the one people say 'hold unto it. At all at all, na him bad pass". This one is worst than "at all at all".

Before I end it, just a few questions. Dear Nigerians with good job, abeg where una dey see diz good job after graduation? Abeg where una dey see money do business after school? Where una dey see money chop food and live life? Me still dey very hungry as I'm typing this. Abeg na beg I beg una, make una put me on abeg. Make una be my God father/mother. I don taya for this life. I be una brother o. Help me and help the society by extension. Thank you.

You are still luck. The reason why I said this is because you still get to wake up in good health. All you just need is to think of a way forward. Things are bad in the country and that's a fact.

If you hear other graduates story ehemmmm u will cry. There was one I read a while back in jobs & vacancy section, I think the moniker is Aabuja , he talked about being a 2016 graduate. Check the thread, you will see people who are still unemployed at over 8 years after school. People who are still stucked with their aged parents.

Even me as it is,if I looked back and had to choose between working for other people, being emotional abused or being between learning a trade and being self employed: I will learn a trade. What can 35k do at the end of the day

So I have this 9 weeks old eskimo dog, she is lovely and a beauty to behold. I love her so much and play a lot with her, but my only problem is that she doesn't know where to urinate. She urinates on my tiles which gets me annoyed a lot of times, I have watched dog potty training videos and tried all the tips but with very little success. I have a potty for her kept in the toilet but she prefers to urinate on my room tiles.

I have tried to keep the potty where she loves to go urinate but everytime, she shuns it and still urinate on the tiles, and at one point, I beat her and put her in the bathroom so she can see that when she urinated there, I won't beat her and will reward her, but this dog held the urine for over 10 hours and immediately I opened the bathroom door, she rushed out to the room and urinated on the tiles.

I don't know what to do again, please house, help me, she seems to be confusing the room for the rest room and the rest room for the room.

As in bah... Whenever I see a "fine geh" I have a crush on. My heart will start beating fast. And then, I'll start feeling nervous like say dem ask one dummy to stand in front of class to answer a hard question. 

And he knows they'll laugh at him for giving the wrong answer. 

But, fast forward to today. 

Omo. Nengak don get mind. Lol.

I fit stand in front of babe and talk to her like say na my junior sister. 

So, how was I able to overcome that fear of approaching girls I like? 

Well, it's a long story.

Back to our topic. 

My guy. You see, most times, when a girl likes you. She can't just start coming to toast you directly. 

WHY? 

This is because, right from history. Up till date. In the African society... It's almost always seen as a taboo for a GIRL to openly tell you she likes you first. 

So this social conditioning has made them a kind of reserved. They'll do their best to hide their true intends even if they're itching to let you know. 

So how can you tell if she LIKES you or not? 

They usually do this using cues and some non-verbal ways. 

Let me break it down for you, my guy. 

Although, there are so many signs. 

But, I'll only show you about 3 of them today. 

1.) Giggles & Laughs: this is usually when you say something that is not really comic but she still finds it funny. Or at times. She just sees you and keeps maintaining eye contact for a while, then keeps smiling at you. 

2.) Hair Touching: girls are fond of gently playing with their hair around guys they have a crush on. If you notice a girl doing this when you guys are taking then she's likely into you. 

Now, this may sound too good to be true. 

But, it's psychological and it's something they usually do subconsciously. Without even thinking about it. 

I mean, they just can't help it. 

If you think this is not real... 

Then, it means you're too logical. And we're talking of girls here. I mean, tender creatures that are largely driven by emotions. 

Okay? So, f**k logic. 

3.) Communication: this is usually in form of verbal or non-verbal ways. 

For instance; she'll try so hard to talk to you. Or maybe, just ask you a question about something so you can talk to her. 

Personally, I've had several instances where a girl will even know something but deliberately ask me questions about it. 

They do this to know more about you. Or see if you're a potential date. 

So they can get close to you, more faster. 

At times, she'll ask someone your name and keep calling you almost everytime with a sexy voice so you can notice her. 

Let's say I meet her for the first time and I press her emotional buttons correctly(topic for another day). 

And then, I collect her number. And also save it with her name. And I leave. 

Before I know it...

She'll start calling me in a sexy way with my name. Whenever she sees me. 

Omo! 

The first time it happened. I was kind of shock. Until I later realized that girls like to do that to guys they have a crush on. 

Another Way Is... 

They start tapping your shoulder. Sometimes she'll even touch you gently and say something like; "Hi, how's your bla, bla, bla..."

Then pause and expect you to say something(which is why it's good to know how to start a conversation with girls...) 

Because, that will also determine if she'll start avoiding you like most guys or see you as a badass guy she'll like to kiss, date and even sleep with.

Knowing if a Girl likes you is not ENOUGH. She may show you "green light" today, and begin to "form class" the next day for you. 

Heck, she may even snub you and start calling someone who's close to you with sweet words like;

"sweetheart", "my love" "darling", and that's if you don't even see her kissing or realize she's sleeping with someone who's not even BETTER than you... And that's why you need to bear these 3 THINGS in mind.
