"Oga fireRain" anyway I am finally done with Shogun,..I enjoyed every page and I really took my time with it. I learned so many things also. Planning to start "Tai-Pan" but I just bought Stay With Me by Ayobami Adebayo, it is a good read too.

I'll definitely get the Delia Owens, I trust your recommendations.

So i just finished reading all 1500 pages of Atlas Shrugged. Took me almost a month to digest it all. It was as if i was going through a philososophy text . It pits agressive capitalism against unhealthy socialism. The main characters are strong and successful persons that fight parasitic government intervention. See ehnn.. y' all all need to read this book, i am not good at summaries. I will rate it 9/10.

I am still on Shogun.. The endsars protest is my focus for now but I should be through with it before thee end of this month

I will download the above mentioned on standby. 9/10 it must be out of this world storyline.

Weekend is going well.Baba, go and read James Clavell's Asian saga book series. James clavell is actually my favorite author. His book, Shogun is a masterpiece. I have introduced him here before.

Happy sunday FireRain.. Man from st Petersburg, very make sense old school spy story. Enjoy the ride. The century trilogy goes through three generations of families in America and Europe. It tells their individual stories and triumphs. It vividly describes behind the scenes stories of both world wars and the cold war. The second book in the series is actually my favourite World war2 book.You will not regret reading the series, this i promise.

Wow! That's quite a read. I will definitely read it. It seems Follet took a liking to war stories.

I love Historical Christian Fictions. Francine Rivers' Mark of Cain series set the tone for me. Please recommend one of Ken's books I should start with.

Plot is a wealthy man that was buried but is subconscious left his body, he discovered so many secrets about his wife, daughter and friends... I have searched but couldn't get it, can you help please? I read it like 15years back I will appreciate any help.

I know Ken Follet but I am always reluctant to get mainstream authors because mainstream authors appeal to a wider audience and the wider audience usually does not have very high standards when it comes to literature. I might give the author a chance though. For now I have a big pile of books still to be opened.

I understand you but if you fancy historical Christian fictions, you will like Ken. Especially during medieval times, I love histories a lot not only African's but other origins too, it is enlightening and I am very picky.

I was blown away. I watched Pillars of the Earth years back,it was intriguing.

Ken Follet develops his characters with enough patience and makes them interesting.
I am reading 'World Without End' and it's been keeping up

Hullo Hathor5, I am currently reading The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins, it is a thriller and very interesting filled with suspense.

Since the lockdown started, I was able to read all books on Jack Reacher- Lee Child's character, I have two books left to read from Stephen King, I have flashed through Agatha Christie books too

I tried David Baldacci but find him not as entertaining as Lee Child, Forsythe, Tom Clancy with the exception of Absolute Truth written by him(very compelling story)

If anyone needs a website to get books including African Authors, let me know.
