It's not really about the amount of earnings but how human lives(both poor and the rich) means nothing to people in governance.
I have seen a comfortable elderly man who was shot and died without any help on a busy street(Akunyili).
Not only people in governance even the citizens have lost humanity.
Nah...no amount of wealth will make you not to "chop" Nigerian breakfast.
How valuable are you to your country?
When you answer that, you will know whether to shift to a working society or stay back. |

They (the parents) are against the mafia here.

You are so on point with this write up. Many companies face these problem. It is sad. Most young people are all chasing the dream of getting money through "shortcuts", they don't want to put in the effort to reap the result. Another issue is our educational system, "e don bend" from Primary to University level, They can't even defend their certificates. Shameful! But we still have the "few" doing excellently well, if any company jam them, make Dem hold them close and pay them their worth Radio playing Adekunle Gold "Work" as I am typing this |

Explorers: In the 18th century, before invention of hairspray, women would use lard to sculpt their wigs.
One of the downsides is that the wig would become a literal rat's nest.
Sometimes rats would live in the wig for weeks.
Women had to sleep with cages around their heads to keep the rats away. Imagine Tori oge síṣe. |

The foundation of that union is faulty from the beginning, it wasn't built on love, na mistake dragged him into the union. There is no justification in heaven or earth for that woman to maltreat her MIL. Can she treat her mother like that!! In a sane and loving union, mama will watch the kids while both work but obviously she hate that woman and wants to frustrate this man.
We all know things are hard in the country but two heads are better than one, with mutual communication, understanding..things will be more easier for them.
Na dis kin tin dey cause make husband dey stab wife or wife dey stab husband.
Young people, try and make use of CD or abstinence if you aren't ready for responsibility. Protect your sanity!
For this union, the advice I have is to separate and send money for those children upkeeps. The man is the only one trying to keep the union afloat.
Can two work together except they agree? Kolewerk. |

IPIGSRHYPO: Nope
I beg where did your leaders come from? Are they from another country or planet? Your leaders are a true representation of the people in the country. Your leadership is a microcosm of what you are. Remove all the present leaders today and replace them with youths on NL, activists, and other ordinary Nigerians and I can guarantee you that it will be the same or even worse. The fact of the matter is that the average Nigerian is greedy, selfish and have very little concern about their larger community, they care mostly about themselves. Until you have a large part of your society who actually cares more about othere/community than themselves, you will continue to have the kind of leadership that you have now. It's not rocket science, it's simple logic. God will bless you exceedingly and abundantly above your desires. Thank you!!! |

placeofallure: This incidence made me remember the day one Eyo masquerade chased me with his "Opanbata" I ran ehn! But he later caught up with me. Some people helped me to beg him cause he said he must beat me with his stick.
What happened? There are rules you must not violate during the Eyo masquerade festival. You don't pack
your hair in a bun or ponytail (Suku) then you must not put on any footwear. The second rule was the one I violated. I was at my uncle's hospital on the island where I worked as a receptionist. I wanted to buy a bottle of soft drink to step down. They sell close by so I thought I'd just buy one quickly before any Eyo passes around the area. Unfortunately for me, as I came out from the place with my bottle of coke, this Eyo just turned into our street. Mogbe! I picked race and it followed me. After begging and begging, you know what he said? "Now it's my time to revenge. I've been been 'toasting' her for long. Her shakara is too much!" Na so I begin dey kneel for Werey masquerade o before he finally let me be. Till tomorrow, I never found out which of my admirers was under the veil. I dunno wetin concern Ara orun with Ara aye! |

neoclassical: For those who are accusing the person that recorded the video why he did not rescue the deceased, are you guys blind to see that the guy was sitting in a dangerous position. Any attempt to hold him at that moment would have resulted in both the guy and the rescuer falling inside the lagoon. So unfortunate he died that way. At the same time, I condemn early marriage in its entirety. Imagine blaming the parents for not taking care of a married man, when he is supposed to be taking care of his parents. If you have a means of livelihood, you can marry anything you want, otherwise, why rushing into marriage at such early stage. Such depression would have been avoided if he did not have a family to cater for at the age of 25 years without tangible means of sustenance, considering the perilous times we find ourselves orchestrated by evil old men who call themselves leaders. May his soul rest in peace. Well said. |

I'm just concerned that you people have so heavily indoctrinated kids that you are coming here to brag about them arguing over something they barely have their own ideas of.
Basically, both your son and the atheist Greek boy are parroting whatever narratives they have been fed by their parents, not even things they have studied and have a proper understanding of.
They are kids, their ideas are not even theirs.
