Before you all begin to wonder what I'm up to this time I would like to state clearly that this thread is not promoting polygamy but I just want to have a non hypocritical down to earth discussion with you all and I mean every one who makes a comment on this thread.

Is one man one wife realistic?

OK get this straight..personally I can never imagine having two wives and I plan to love my wife till death but I would like to ask few questions.

1.What happens to the widows of marriageable ages?

2.What about unmarried ladies in their 40s,single mothers in their 40s...will you advise them to be celibate or say yes to a man who is ready to fill the gap even if he is married?

I believe that polygamy is the answer to the prayers of some ladies but what can I say in a world where hypocrisy is a norm? a world where a man of 70 celebrates 40years monogamous wedding anniversary with one lady while keeping other children with different mothers outside the same marriage...oh I guess it's OK as long as he is married to one lady...hmmmmm!

So i want you all to contribute to this sensitive topic by first answering this question;

If you have a friend who is a widow in her late 30s or in her 40s and she tells you a certain married man wants to marry her what would you tell her?

-That she should say No and wait for a single guy to come her way?

-That she should remain celibate forever?

Over to you all.

First of all....NO widow should marry a married man, i'm sure you know the reasons...


Secondly, every widow is biblically legible to re-marry, BUT NOT a man who is married...


Thirdly, every widow should WAIT for a single guy or a widower to come woo her and marry her...


Aside from the reasons i 've given above you will be committing adultery..
