Good evening my dear nairalanders..
This will be my first time writing a story like this cos i seriously need help(ur advice)..

I am a young guy that happened to fall in love at a very tender age. I fell inlove with this be beautiful gal called 'Juliet'. I was 17 and she was 15 years of age then wen we both started dating..
We finished our secondary school same year.. I started working in other to lift the pressure of money on my dad.
We eventually both gained admission. She was given admission at UNIBEN and mine was at KWASU.
One very day, she called me and i can presumed she was crying due to the way her voice was shaking.
She said to me 'am forfeiting my admission' i asked her what happened? She said 'there is no money,that she will need up to like 40k..
I told that she should not think about it.
I gave her the 40k which later resulted to me staying at ohm. That was (2015) then.

After she got to school, if i called her she won't pick it. And if she eventually picked it, she may tell me she's busy. TBC

I doubt if you didn't plagiarise this article...was expecting you to give me cogent reasons and prove me wrong as to why you said not everybody is destined to marry and not to use the failed marriage of one man in the name of pastor who married out of his selfish desires to castigate others...


Now know this for your own good, it's not every "man of God", or every "christian" God must speak to before he/she gets married, but if you desire for God to direct you He's ever willing to, innukwa?, omokop odo?, so, soil away that mentality from your brain.


Secondly, even some of them that God speaks to in the long run they give the devil an oppprtunity to enter their home either because of sin or they did not heed fully to the directions of the holy spirit,...that's the case with that of chris okotie, i'm a witness to such case but that's a story for another day



As a christian you know divorce is frowned at yet we keep encouraging people to marry....now, question is, the other christian family that are living happily and fullfiled what will you say about that??...if you believe in marriage you must be ready to make it work, and how can you make it work?, by first setting your priorities right by following those simple tips i gave earlier....nuff said.

The reason is because we do not want to marry for the right reasons..


We do not want God to direct us of whom to marry...


We allow our instinct and emotions to control us whenever we want to marry..


We think that marriage is all about a woman and a man coming together to stay under one roof either because they love themselves and have fullfiled every marital right, NO, that's not why you are marrying...



We marry because there's this compatibility between us and hence we believe we can tolerate each other...


We marry because our relationsip was built on a Godly foundation..

We marry because we have the same moral values...


We marry because we have the same spiritual values...


We marry because we were friends


We marry because we have the same sexual values....


And the reasons why we marry goes on and on and on...



If you marry for the reasons i stated above threads like this will be useless to you.

I have to come in at this juncture.. An argument like this can only spring up among the citizens of an underdeveloped country like Nigeria. And the last time I checked, we celebrated 56 years of independence while other countries celebrated 300 years. This is to tell you that our mentality and understanding about life will always be limited to our environment except maybe we get to be in other environments.
