chuckdee13: Occupations usually have unit groups with the first 4 digits of the anzsco code being the same. for pet eng the closely related occupation is mining eng. its not broken down into the specializations u mentioned though some occupations have specializations listed. to see tasks of occupations go to www.anzscocode.com Without prior knowledge, I'll even consider u an engineer Ur doing a great job. Lol... Thanks for the compliment. The link didn't open. I'm getting a grasp of it all tho. How do we go about the link that has refused to open? |

ome240: While uploading documents to immigration website (after your invitation to apply), you'll see "Superannuation" in the drop down list as evidence of employment. Superannuation is same as PFA. PFA is a strong proof you were actually working as your pension would be deducted from your salary before you receive your pay.... This was my case and I believe so many other people can attest to this. In my situation, I uploaded my pension summary. It reflected the companies I worked for and the contributions made. In my experience. Everything you tell immigration should correlate, that's all they want. Oh Yer... That's good... Will tell my hubby so he'll do same when d time comes |

feddy27: Mama won't have any issues. It's a done deal for her. Amen. My mother in law went some weeks back. i filled the form and all that. She simply told them she's going to assist me when I give birth, showed them my visa page and that was all. Asked her how many children she has and then said she should tell me to hold receipts for 1st birth when we are going. Amen o.... Amen Amen. I'm using one visa for two deliveries ( no one shld ask me how). Hubby was thinking of waiting till I get there before she applies... But honestly my son en the acrobatics he's doin en afraid is catching me to go alone with him. Do u suggest we shld just fill for her now and get it over with. So we can go together... I will need that help so so bad. But then again my dad.... he will grumble about the duration ( I don't care right now I need my mother mbok) Cc Ladyguinivere |

chuckdee13: In summary, if u want to do this cos of the points u hope to get from work experience, I'll really encourage u to gather the max points from english test and nominate an occupation with tasks closely related to ur first degree. Or u can explore the other option u said u have. What does d highlighted mean? U have to nominate an occupation like For example under pet engineering u can nominate drilling or completions or subsea or cementing... Something like that right? My questions are plenty.. Cos I'm trying to understand it all. my hussy is offshore presently working so I'm trying to gather as many info as possible ( considering I'm not even an engineer) |

debby516: Good news. Got my visa this morning at 10am, Lagos.
Transcript below.
ME - Houston VO - What do you do? ME - I am lawyer VO - How long have you been in practice? ME - About 6 years
VO - What does you husband do? ME - He is also a lawyer VO - Is this your 1st child? ME - No, 2nd
Hands over the white paper and said i should pick up my visa on monday.
No bank statement, no budget sheet, no payslip, nothing. Got the biggest surprise of my life this morning. I read this forum from part 1 to 4, prepared as if i had Jamb exam. Had all my docs, hubby and I's bank statements, letter of sponsorship from hubby, letter from my office, my payslip, marriage cert, change of name publication, budget sheet, doc's correspondence, evidence of accommodation etc VO didnt ask for a single doc other than doc's correspondence.
Meanwhile, they were just issuing blue paper to people today, even families going on vacation and those going for conference. I however observed that they gave visa to alot of elderly people.
Soo happy that a friend directed me to Nairaland and thank you great people for helping me out in this uphill task. Hoping to hear more good news. U and ur husband are lawyers kikikikikikikikiki VO might Think u might sue... Kikikikikikikikiki just kidding. I tap into this favour for my mum... God's favour was with you... Wish u the best dear. Time to scout for tickets |

OmoBendel24: Dallas oh, not even NY! And BA too. $800? Luck being pushed too far IMO. Anything is possible sha! Eyaaaa, all those DELTA NY tickets sha, time is almost here again before. Buy tickets between September and November (always very sweet), it's better.
FLYING from anytime in mid December may not come cheap too no matter when you purchase the tickets from, but notwithstanding, it's almost certainly better than buying a December flight ticket inside same December. I'm just relaxed.... I'm flying in December or January... Most likely December.. But if u see as my eye dey chook for ticket en... Maximum flexible ticket I'm buying is 300k... Ifexsco: By preggers you mean pregnant? You may want to checkout scroollmeout's post when he got his grant. I also was in that shoe. When it began obvious that my wife was gonna put to birth here in Nigeria, we put the application on hold and when the baby arrived, we added him to the application; that way it is free otherwise if you get the grant and you still deliver outside Australia, na long thing as you will have to pay for child visa. Also if you are pregnant, you won't be able to complete your medicals (xray). So you may allow the application to run along until you are invited then you put it on hold. To do this, you will write to your CO attaching an evidence eg pregnancy test report. [Quote post=47909871] my hubby... I'm a Dr and that route is long.. Don't wanna go there. Don't know if there anyone whose spouse was preggers during the whole tingy how he or she went about it Ok... It makes sense. Thanks |

chuckdee13: Ielts for Engineers Australia I presume, I think it can be either of them because they did not request a specific one. But just to be safe take the general. I think the spouse needs english if u wanna claim spousal points, competency minimum. Is it u or ur husband thats the pet engineer? I nominated the same occupation. my hubby... I'm a Dr and that route is long.. Don't wanna go there. Don't know if there anyone whose spouse was preggers during the whole tingy how he or she went about it |
