Pls guys I need some knowledge on this diaspora banking. I am in South Africa and recently contacted Ecobank via chat to setup internet banking. I tried the mobile app but it sends otp to my old naija number that's probably non existent. So I contacted Ecobank if I could change my number to my southy number and they gave me all sorts of forms, apparently Nigerians living abroad can have a seamless service with the diaspora banking. Now I have to notarize the document and get it scanned and sent to them via email and also mail the hard copies to diaspora banking unit in Lagos.

Please has anyone gone through this process? I'd like some advice. I am within a couple of lawyers and notaries in my area, do I need to contact them and have the documents notarized? They also say I can also have it attested at the Nigerian embassy. Abeg who don do am make e give me headlight and know what to do.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

WHO GOES TO HEAVEN and WHO GOES TO HELL?

This is the story of 2 men of different and contradictory beliefs. They both live in separate towns next to each other. One is a pastor and the other is a witch doctor.
The pastor heads a small church with about 12-15 members, he has very little followers and the offering coming to the church is little, very little.
The witch doctor who lives in the next town is renowned for his works and widely sought after by people from all walks of life. From corporations to individuals come to him for favors, charms, spell and powers. Managers from various institution come to him for work seeking promotion, protection and other charms while ladies come to him for charms and spells to get a man, even the young men also come to him for powers, the 'yahoo boys', students, armed robbers and others just for protection, powers and charms. The witch doctor is also known for doing money rituals. In fact his followers are much, very much on the high side that even on the street where his house/shrine is, cars are packed and lined up. Some of the cars are gifts while others are cars of those who have come for spiritual help and powers. The witch doctor is known through his town and even the next and so is the pastor known in his town and the next.

The pastor on the other hand is a dedicated man of God who truly believes God and serves Him diligently. He was God by God and have been in the ministry for more than 10 years, the church has been in the same building for more than 10 years also but his members never increase, people are sometimes discouraged from the church because of this and join other churches, if 4 or 5 persons leave, 1 or 2 new converts joins the church. The church has never had over 30 to 40 persons in one service.
The pastor really desires for his church to grow. This causes him great worry that he engaged in 40 days fasting and prayer believing that the Lord will draw people to the church to serve him. The pastor begins to doubt because even the little members he has are leaving the church. Sometimes there could be 6-8 persons for Sunday service with very little offering to pay for the rent, he was faced with challenges that he thought he should seek other means. He has heard stories of the witch doctor in the nearby town and how other pastors come go to him for powers to draw members to their churches, in fact, the church in the next street started a few months earlier and now pulls a large membership. The church has bought the building and the pastor owns a car, everything seems rosy. He opted to go to the witch doctor for same powers.

The witch doctor on the other hand has enjoyed luxury but wasn't happy. He also has heard of the pastor in the nearby town, he knows he is one of the few true men of God around. He wants to get out of his craft, he is tired of serving satan. He always gets nightmares of the rituals he's done, the little children he's used to gain more powers and also powers for others. He is living in torment within him. So he opted to go see the pastor in the nearby town to pray for him and help him to ask God for forgiveness because he knows nothing about being saved. He believes the pastor can lead him to the right path.

He entered one of the cars which was gifted to him by one of his followers and decided to go to the church of the pastor to pray for him. He truly wants to be saved.

The pastor on the other hand is already on his way to see the witch doctor for powers, he wants more followers. He is on the verge of losing his church building and he needs help instantly.

As the witch doctor was on his way, armed robbers were ahead carrying out an operation, this caused chaos that drivers drove recklessly to avoid being robbed or harmed. With the confusion on the highway, the car of the witch doctor was hit from the side and his car fell off the bridge. It burst into flames seconds after it hit the rocky ground.

The pastor also was plying the same route and the car he was in were stopped by the robbers. The deadly armed robbers fired aimlessly and about 4 people were shot in the bus the pastor was in and he was among the 4. He sustained bullet wound to the head and died on the spot.

Both the witch doctor and pastor died same day with about 10 minutes separating their death.

Now the question is WHO GOES TO HEAVEN and WHO GOES TO HELL, the pastor who has already decided in his heart to go see the witch doctor or the witch doctor who already regrets in his heart and decides to go see the pastor to pray for him so he can be saved?


Hell is no place I wish my enemy to go. Please if you are reading this and not saved, not born again. This minute I want you to ask JESUS to come into your life as your LORD and SAVIOR. For JESUS says I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh to the Father but by me. JOHN 14:6. Ask HIM to clean you from your sins, surrender everything to HIM. After you are born again, feed on the bible and you will grow spiritually.

I have a question that's been troubling me. Is it wrong to download copyrighted materials from these torrent sites like kat.cr and piratesbay? Most of the gospel songs, Christian eBooks and some video editing software and other software in general I use are downloaded from these sites.

I want to know as I wouldn't want to commit a sin. I feel it's wrong but it really helps to get these free stuff when the prices are not affordable.

Hello brethren, how are you all doing this evening? I would like to share how God has been taking me from glory to glory. This thread was instrumental in my giving my life to Christ and He has been using me in several ways with revelations and visions.
At about 3 months ago I was living in sin but coming across this thread touched me. God led me to a church where He wanted me to work and serve for him, fast forward to April, I am now leading service in the said church. I lead prayers, praise and worship songs before sermon. Do you doubt God? Don't ever do that.

Before I even stood on the altar to lead service God showed me in a revelation and suddenly my pastor showed up the next day telling me I will lead service. He's preparing to teach me more about the bible where I can preach as well, also God was so faithful to me that I saw myself preaching and on one occasion was preaching with my pastor. Now the day my pastor came to tell me that he will be preparing me to preach, I was like wow..God showed me before hand and His plans have been unfolding.

"The plans I have for you is of good and not of evil, to bring you to an expected end". God is wonderful, magnificent, perfect, worthy to be praised.

It simply means running away from sin.. Sin is the game that kills. The soul that sins dies..


The bike man is the Holy Ghost who is already on standby to help you as you overcome those sins that want to tie you down.


Rescuing yourself means that you have a role to play in saving yourself.. Your other self you were rescuing is your soul.. Your mind. Your soul is still in captivity, meaning that you still have a desire for some of those sins that tie you down in life. If demons are in possession of your soul, even if you have escaped your sinful habits, the soul in their hands is like a back door to enter into your life again..


FULL INTERPRETATION:

Now, what God is saying is this: He is there to deliver you from your sinful habits but you must sanctify your mind. Totally remove yourself from anything that easily draws you back to sin, even friends that make you fall into sin... And you will be totally delivered.


Read Romans 6 vs 18, Galatians 2 vs 20, 1 Thessalonians 4 vs 3, 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 23.. Read up other bible verses on sanctification and work towards keeping your mind and body free from sin.

I'll like to share with us a dream I had last night after midnight prayers. I've little interpretation to it but I'll also like a clear interpretation.

In this dream I found myself in a group of people playing a dangerous game. People were picked randomly and hit with a weapon that causes severe pain, I then realized one could die from this game. I was randomly selected to be the next victim to be hit. Immediately I realized I had to escape. The compound was heavily guarded with electric barb wires, I ran to a wall and no place to escape so I tried jumping the wires. An alarm was sounded and the electric was turned on, so I walked on the fence 'ninja style' and did a somersault over the fence and wires and landed in other side of the compound. I was pursued but ran away like Usain bolt. As I jumped over several fences, I noticed people were set as spies watching me tracing me with cars. I ran as quickly as my legs carried me. I even tried to float or fly but couldn't but continued running. I then saw someone I knew who's an acquaintance but found myself trying to hide from him but his son of about 4-5 years was trying to raise an alarm but he didn't notice me. Immediately a bike man showed up and I jumped in. He rode carelessly to get me away from the unknown place I was and brought me off to a place I'm very familiar with. I then paid him and left. I woke up.

I slept off again and found myself in same area I escaped from, but I felt in my spirit I was there to rescue someone. I was the same person and another person, immediately they noticed we were escaping they set up the same wires trying to stop us from escaping but I miraculously somersaulted again and escaped. I find myself trying to dodge cctv cameras, motion sensors and ran into an open farm that's just been cultivated, I sprung across and noticed someone sitting somewhere like a spy but didn't notice me as I ran past him. I ran past some people I perceived was college students and escaped. Woke up feeling victorious.
First dream was in daytime and second was in almost evening cos it was dark.

Interpretations came as I was working out.

In the early hours of this morning, I had a revelation from God.


In this dream, I was shown a list of names... The names were written on a jotter, about 10 names... The names were marked for death. Physical death not spiritual death.


I was shown how some people on the list died and how others will still die young..
My eyes were opened to see them dead and in spirit form. I saw some who were my former course mates in the university and I didn't even know some of them but just saw their faces.
It was a bit frightful.
I woke up.


In my heart, I decided to discard the dream, so I only just rebuked the dream... I didn't want to share it with you guys here so as not to strike fear in anyone's heart. I simply picked up my phone to charge the battery. This was about 5am or so.


But God knew my thoughts, for when I slept again, the dream continued.


In this second part of the revelation... There was a gathering of young men and women and they were discussing about this issue(the spirit of death)... I don't know how the matter became open to everyone in this dream.


Some of the people standing and sitting and they were mostly people I didn't recognize facially. But my spirit man made me realize that those people were you guys here (nairalanders on this thread)


One of my course mate was already dead so her mom came in her place. Another of my course mate who was to die came too, a very thin man who was on the death list and who wore a particular white shirt came too(he behaved in a strange way) and some others I didn't recognize were present.


Now, there was this particular young Man who stood in the center talking to everyone in a strong voice with much authority, then I felt the urge to share my revelation to everyone. As soon as I wanted to speak, He cut in and said that He had a revelation where people names were written on a jotter and they were marked for death(exactly what I was about to say). People became a bit shaken but the people were eager to know about it and they paid apt attention. He said something about praying for them. Someone standing close by wanted to take things for granted and the person was distracting everyone. The young Man quickly turned to this person and with a striking authority told him that He would put His right hand in his face if he doesn't stop the distraction immediately. And there was silence everywhere.

Then after He finished speaking to the crowd, He told me to go ahead and say what I wanted to say..



So i came out with the all the 10 names of this people on a piece of paper, spoke to the people on what God showed me and after I finished speaking to the crowd, everyone became really shaken.
I asked if I should call out the names of these people marked for death by the enemy(satan) but they said I should not call out the names. So I didn't.


But I said we must pray for them.
I saw one of my course mates who was on the death list and I was asking him a question, but he was lying to me about something and not taking me seriously.. But God had showed me that what caused his death had to do with something he did wrong.. 'wrong ways'... I saw him eat a strange yellowish substance in secret before then, that substance looked like something sacrificed to idols.. It's surprising because this guy is a very gentle person and a born again christian in real life. But He had a part to play for his own death..



This revelation isn't a joke. I may not know what satan is planning exactly but God knows. A revelation in another revelation is a sincere warning from God and it means the matter is at hand. It is a confirmation that God wants this lives protected that even after I thought of not sharing this, He still made this known to people in the other dream revelation. And then I knew I should share this.


I knew God wanted to speak to us concerning something soon. I felt it very strong in my spirit, that was why I made mention of it here. And now He has spoken.
After i mentioned this, I had a dream attack from the enemy trying to weaken me spiritually by coming to my dream to seduce me sexually, but I thank God I overcame.



- Let us commit our ways unto God. Always pray before you eat or drink, sleep and when you're going out and you're coming in.

Also, be careful so that you do not commit any deliberate sin.


Let us pray against the spirit of death which is hovering at this time.. Satan has an hidden agenda to take the lives of some people but God has exposed his plans and we must agree in prayer to spoil this wicked plan in the Name of Jesus.


We are all connected in this world one way or the other... Standing in the gap for others automatically brings the divine protection of God over our lives.


Let no one be afraid for we have died in Jesus Christ and have been risen with Him... So we now have Life and have it to the fullest.



I pray for the grace and mercy of Jesus to be multiplied over our lives in Jesus Name.. Let the mercy of God save us from evil for the Lord is our Shepherd.

Thank God for his revelation. Yesterday during church program our pastor saw a vision and wanted us to pray against spirit of death which we did. As I was praying at midnight it came to my mind to pray against the spirit of death which I did. Satan is planning something evil but God has revealed his plans. I still urge us to pray against death.

I think I started the topic on speaking in tongues because I was a little curious about not falling prey to false tongues. Even though I have been giving this a thought I never prayed for the tongues. Something happened yesterday as I was praising and praying at midnight. As I was praying and quoting scriptures I felt the urge of speaking in tongues, it was building up in my mind and more like a momentum wanting to burst out, I was scared as not to start speaking false tongues but I felt the urge within me building up and I quenched it.
So please brethren I need advice.

Same yesterday I had a dream and I would like some interpretation.

In reality I went to a film school and into video production, esp music video production but lately I have lost my camera and haven't been in this field for a while. So in my dream I met a very pretty lady who seem to be a musician, she's done a video before but wanted me to shoot a music video for her, I went through the past video she did and it was not up to standard, so I started making arrangement and was using her camera but unfortunately the lens wasn't clear, I tried to focus but the lens was blurry. So I decided to use my own camera which I owned in the dream( but in reality I sold my camera), on using my camera I was able to get a very clear picture and I started shooting the video, gave her directions for each scene and all was going smoothly, so I had to shoot another scene with a close-up. I had to cue the music for another scene but mistakenly cut the music and all wasn't going smoothly. I had to copy the original music and tried to paste it to another location but wasn't successful, so the artist got weary and decided to leave, I tried to plead with her but she refused so I got angry and expressed my anger by throwing things around.

Please I need interpretation. I woke up and didn't think it was a serious dream and decided to let it go but lately I have been praying to God to make me actualize my goal and video production and video editing has been my passion. I don't know if this means anything, I want to dismiss the dream as not serious but again, I think it might mean something.

In the early hours of yesterday, the Lord revealed to me a working in the spirit world. I'm still pondering upon this and why God showed me this.. Maybe the revelation isn't complete yet. God will make that known. I did not want to share this at first but I suddenly felt an urge in my spirit to share this.
So I want to share this with you guys now..

In this is no lie at all. But it is to the glory and majesty of God.



In the very early hours of yesterday morning (Tuesday) in a revelation. The Lord took me into the spirit world.


On the roads I saw demons and very strange beings, I easily could feel their spiritual rankings, in other words, I could determine the measure of their strength.



Some stared at me continuously. One tried to enter into my physical body (I do not remember how i knew that). Another spoke in my mind, telling me that he was the spirit of a friend I knew in the physical world. He kept banging a gate to get my attention. The spirit showed me the face of this friend. I knew it was trying to deceive me that he(my friend) had died. But I thank God for He(God) was with me.
I saw no humans in this realm, only demons posing as humans here on earth (even acting and mimicking their behaviours).



Some of the demons walked down the road slowly. They lived like beasts, like animals, foul creatures.
One of the demons I saw behaved insane.



The Lord now took me to a huge building. It looked like an ancient palace.
In this place, particularly in the court yard. There is a very strange statue. The statue is the image of a young child with an ancient magical object in his right hand. The statue has it's left leg lifted up slightly and it's left arm stretched out. It looked like he was trying to give someone that object.



I saw two evil spirits in a conversation. They looked like goddesses not like the demons I saw on the roads. These ones looked like high ranking spirits and they had ghostly appearances. They were greyish white with no descriptive appearance whatsoever for their faces looked indescribable.
They floated on air and moved very quickly.



The Lord now showed me that there is an appointed time in this dimension(spirit world) when a spirit or demon is allowed to cross over to the other side (physical world).
And the time comes at the early rise of the sun.



Now the spirit who was talking to the other was like a lord and master over the other spirit. And they were female spirits. She was telling the other that at the first break of the morning sun, that she(the lesser spirit) must cross over to the physical dimension. There was an important task for this lesser spirit to do for the other spirit in the physical realm. And this evil spirit was very desperate to make sure the other spirit crosses over to other side and do this major task.
They stood about 4feets away from me but they could not see me or sense me. I believe it was because God put a spiritual invincible cover upon me.


The portal to the physical plane could only work with the touch of the early morning sun and the object that was in the right hand of the statue. This object occurred to my understanding to be an ancient Egyptian relic used in ancient Egyptian black magic (will search on that later)
The Lord showed me the shape of the object which I drew(when I woke up). It had a round shape that went round continuously with a bent stick that held it ( like the design of a lollipop, but a bent handle).



Suddenly the early morning came, and a bright white light shone in the courtyard where I was with these two spirits, then the object in the right hand of the statue shone and turned a gold colour, bringing the object to life. A portal was opened and I ran into it and crossed over to the other side.
The evil spirit did the same too.



When the spirit crossed she immediately opened a door and went into it.
I entered too and what my eyes saw was too much to behold.



There was so much treasures stored up, gold, prized possessions that looked very very ancient but held a very great value in this present world. I just kept looking amazed.
There was just so much wealth.. Wealth that no man on earth had ever seen.

The Lord let me see that just beside this treasure room there were lifeless(still) images of many women who wore only panties of the same colour, these women were on their knees and they all held calabashes beside them. And in their midst was someone that looked like a priest and there was an altar which was supposed to contain their god that they worship.



As I wondered upon this strange thing. The Lord told me.
He said 'Hardship has come upon them because their goddess is no more'

The Lord showed me some other things that is a bit difficult to remember.


At this time, I could pass through doors, walls and windows but only by singing a particular christian song. And so I passed through some places. It was like I had to pass through these places to get to my destination.

I entered a very large and dark hall.
Suddenly, a gigantic evil spirit being now noticed me. The spirit was like a guardian of that particular place where I was.
And so I fled hurriedly. I was in fear, then I realized that I could no longer pass through the doors, or windows or walls but my spirit man knew where the exit door was.

So I went through the exit door(physical realm). Then I woke up.

When I saw this, I woke up and wrote down what I saw. It was some minutes past 1am. I know God showed me this for a very very important thing.
Fragments of the revelation immediately started leaving me, like I had forbidden knowledge and someone was slowly taking away the memories of the revelation.

Then I asked God to show me again. And surprisingly, I heard him say 'They must not see you'.
Then I prayed that I remember what I forgot and God made me remember.


There is evil in our world and many mysteries unknown to us. And there is a thin veil between the spirit realm and physical realm.
We are only safe in Jesus Christ.



There are hidden treasures stored in darkness. There are stolen properties belonging to God's children and God wants to release it back unto us.

Isaiah 45 vs 3:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.


Some people here will experience a release of wealth in their lives this month. Your joy will be full this month. The years the canker worms have eaten will be restored to you (Joel 2 vs 25).

I do not know the extent of damage this revelation will cause to the kingdom of darkness. But I was shown that demons will come after me after this in different manners, they were looking for me and I looked sick at that moment in the revelation. I saw some of my friends behaving strange to me.
I pray for God's strength. Please put me in prayers.


But I am happy that the powers that held us down are no more. And any other power coming against us is already defeated because we are victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.


I will keep standing for Christ no matter what it takes. I pray we all do the same.

Such a blessing. Reminds me of my aunt who had twins after more than 10 years of waiting. Funny thing is she and her husband are pastors then and even now, God always have a way of rewarding his faithful servants. We should apply this to our personal lives. You never get there no mean say you no go get there, the blessings after waiting na always double portion, always!

Bro I meant to say the false tongues are gibberish. I once heard a minister say, if you know how to speak in tongues start speaking in tongues. Now this brings me to another question. Can one just start speaking in tongues without under the influence of the Holy Spirit? I mean, can I just decided to speak in tongues without directly under the influence of the Holy Spirit? With the number of ministers encouraging their followers to speak in tongues is alarming and I am cautious not to join the lot because I think one has to be under the influence of the Spirit or like TheFakeMuyis stated bear the fruits of the Spirit.

I think I will lean towards what TheFakeMuyis pointed out. I mean, how can you speak in tongues without possessing these fruits. As in Gal 5:22, the fruits are Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Humility and Self control. He's right in a way, you know.

I am curious. How does one undergo Holy Ghost baptism? I have read books where hardcore satanists(with the help of demons) can manipulate one into speaking in false tongues, the ignorant Christians think they are baptized with the Holy Ghost. I am very cautious as I don't want to just speak in any gibberish language thinking I am speaking in tongues.
I believe one has to be baptized with the Holy Ghost to speak in tongues. There is a trend where a pastor tells members to speak in tongues
willingly. Are these members already baptized with the Holy Ghost that they go on a spree of speaking in tongues?
In my own understanding I think one has to be under the influence of the Holy Ghost to speak in tongues.

She will seat with me, discourse the quotation, see how much the job is worth then tell you what her percentage will be. If you agree, she will front the quotation and prevail on her husband to give me the job. She doesn't care if her percentage affects the job.
I have been given her number, I have called her, but ve not met with her yet. Am so troubled about this whole thing. I feel am going to be helping that woman steal from her husband. Or am I mistaken? Someone said, I shd go and see her, whatever she asks for, i shd add it to the quotation, when the money is paid, I give her her part and do my job.

To me, the reason Jesus consented to the pleading of the demons is this. The demons haven been in heaven before knew how authority worked. They knew that, God had prepared hellfire for them, and a time frame was also fixed as to when that will be effective. They know that while hover host they were I habiting was temporal, they know their destination and how horrible it is down there. They also know that the Name of God is the final authority. So the demon who spoke up quickly ran to that defends knowing Christ will obey the injunction put by God.

The part of engaging a demon in a conversation Jesus did that when he wanted to cast the man with legion in him in luke 8, he asked what was his name. Now in another part when he casted out a demon he didn't bother to ask questions he just casted out the demon.

Now to the part of casting out a demon in the name of a man of God that I can't say.. But praying in the name of a man of God can be gotten from the Bible. If you read the book of Genesis up to exodus ypu would see whre God himself appeared to Moses and told him I am the the God of your father Abraham, God of Jacob and the likes in Exodus 3 and so many other passages like that even in the new testament.. That been said..

When you look at first kings when Elisha got the mantle from Elijah and he wanted to path the waters he said "Where is the Lord God Of Elijah and he smote the waters and the Bible says the water parted". So which means the there is a God of Elijah.

So if some one prays in the name of a verified and acknowledged man of God I don't believe they aphave committed any wrong..

Brother you're right Jesus asked for the name of the demon(s), according to the passage you mentioned, that wasn't the first time Jesus had already cast out the demon from the same man. [See verse 29] So in my little understanding I believe Jesus asked because he knew it wasn't same demon he cast out of him. So he asked "what is your name"? And it replied Legion (for he was filled with many demons). I also believe the demon wasn't honest for it didn't give an exact name and only referred to its quantity, like say a herd of cattle. [pls note; just what I understand from the passage]
However what puzzled me is what followed after, why would Jesus grant the demon's wish? (verse 30). Pleading not to be sent to bottomless pit. Oyeludef, superior1, analice107, charlyg1 please enlighten me.

Also using the name of the God of a prophet is ancient like the old testament. I believe Jesus came to redeem us and gave us authority as in Luke 10 vs 19. The Bible says in the name of Jesus every knee must bow and every tongue confess. Not in the name of God or in the name of God of Paul, Silas or Peter.
Jesus redeemed us and only with his name have we been given authority and we are allowed to exercise such authority with his name only.
This I am very sure and will not ask anyone here to enlighten me but I'm open to corrections if I'm wrong and please make references to the Bible when correcting me.
