Well I was at kolo creek in bayelsa working hard in the bunkery camp to be able to pay the school fees of both me and my younger brother and also make enough to pay our rent and get enough foodstuff for the session. Incase you got it all rosy some of us had to go through hell to get our degrees. I witness so many people got burnt beyond recognition anytime there was a camp explosion. But thank God it’s all stories now. When I told my supervisor my ordeal it brought us closer and I became untouchable in that department. 😁

God bless all the lecturers in OAU who has had positive impact on the lives of students. One lecturer worthy of mention is Prof Oorimogunje of geography department. That baba really taught us how to adapt and cope with real life challenges but he didn’t know it yet. I would never forget the day baba knelt down to beg prof ogunkoya to accept my thesis as prof ogunkoya was angry I had resumes after 7 weeks of lecture had gone by, eventually I ended up having a c without doing the project defense. But you see that Mr olapoju, make that man fear my return 😂. I don declare war with anybody answering olapoju as surname 😠😠
