imperiouxx: This boy wasn't even allow to deny it or not. The VO, just asked him 3 or 4 questions, the next was ''You applied for the just concluded visa lottery and so you are not qualify for an F-1 visa'' And he passed all his document to him. Bye! Just like movie, the boy sef just pick and turn without a word. Everyone were just looking at each other in surprise coupled with the way other VOs were bouncing almost everyone on that day. A guy was given life ban while Larry Isamoje of BrillaFM with his family were bounced on that very bad day grin grin

Celebrities › Kanye West To Propose To Kim Kardashian by fittty(op): 4:32pm On Jul 27, 2012
Could wedding bells be in Kim and Kanye's future sooner than we think?
According to Radar Online, 'Ye has asked a private jeweler to design an engagement ring for girlfriend Kim Kardashian by using diamonds and rubies from his late mom Donda’s personal jewelry collection.
“Kanye picked out some of Donda’s most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring,” a source close to the rapper said.
“Donda was such an important person in Kanye’s life, he thought the world of her and was devastated when she died. So, he kept all her jewelry as keepsakes - a lot of the pieces were items he bought over the years after he made it as a hip-hop star," the source continued.
“And now, Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim."
But it seems that there is some trouble in paradise. The source says Yeezy's friends do not condone his lavish ways.
“His friends think it’s a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring,” the source says. “Because it’s a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever split up." The source added that friends say the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star earns her money through endorsements and reality television, an image they feel Donda should not be associated with.
The source revealed that the "Way Too Cold" emcee plans to get down on one knee once Kim's divorce with ex-husband and basketball star Kris Humphries is finalized.
Sources also say not only has the G.O.O.D. Music leader considered the wedding bling and proposal, West even has two locations in mind.
"Oklahoma is his personal choice because his mother’s grave is there – and he wants her at his wedding in spirit," the source said. "But he hasn’t ruled out Chicago, which he credits for giving him inspiration for building his glittering career.”

Celebrities › Young Buck Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison by fittty(op): 2:20pm On Jul 14, 2012
Multi-platinum rapper Young Buck was sentenced Friday to three years in prison after he was convicted on weapons charges.
Young Buck, a Nashville native whose real name is David Darnell Brown, was arrested for possessing weapons despite being a convicted felon following a stabbing several years prior.
The judge sentenced the rapper to serve his two counts concurrently, so he will spend a total of 18 months in jail.
Young Buck is also involved in a bankruptcy case after a contract dispute with record label G-Unit Records. Numerous pieces of gold and diamond jewelry once owned by the rapper will be auctioned by the IRS on July 26.
In December, a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge in Nashville converted the rapper's bankruptcy case from a Chapter 11 reorganization to a Chapter 7 liquidation. The trustee administering his estate said she planned to sell the trademarked "Young Buck" name along with other assets seized for non-payment.

phy: Weldone deevick!

@fittty your questions are getting me a bit worried. Deevick took his time in his previous post and gave you different branches of pub admin and you're still scared. Even as an engineer I can apply for Pub admin, defend it before the VO and get the visa. Pls try to do more research about your major or any other major you're interested in very well - it is worth it. If truly you want to study as a means to integrate yourself into the system, pls give it the best shot.
Big up bruv.

deevick246: What you seems to be bothered about is within your power. The V0 has no right to denied any applicant on the grounds that there is no continuation or progression in the line of study. That is why there are questions like these"why study this course or what benefit does this course hold to you?" ( For a graduate of Economics like you, you can say you are interested in working for the Nigeria government, you intend to join the Central Bank or ministry of Finance, to ensure that Budgets preparation and allocation are done without any bias and to ensure that the purposes for which the budget were allocated are well executed.....bla bla, this is just a hint)The onus lies on the applicant to educate the VO on why he or she has choose to follow this new study path and I tell you, this is where most people in this kind of scenario who didn't get their visas missed it. You need to be well armed as to why you are changing your study line in this particular time in your life. If you study the thread well, you will notice that recent interviews only requires portraying genuine study intention to the VO and not documents presentations as we have thought or has it has been before. The reason is simple, the VOs only want to accord genuine students the opportunity to actualise their dreams of going to the US to study. Best of Luck man.
Thanks bruv. O lenu cheesy

deevick246: The last time we exchange messages on this thread, you agreed to do research on how to marry Economics as a field of study with Public Administration. I can't really ascertain how far you have gone with that. Like I told you the last time, PA is a very lucrative profession, the likes of Ban Ki- moon, the former UN secretary General and the present president of Liberia, Ellen Johnson are graduates of PA.
PA has five core branches and they are: 1. Policy Analysis,
2. Public Budgeting, 3. Ethics, 4. Operational Theory,5. and Human Resource. Link is:

therealbradleybyrne.com/2012/03/09/masters-in-public-administration-the-five-core-branches-of-public-administration/

You can choose one of the areas to specialise in and relate it with your Economics first degree. I think Public Budgeting should suit well with Economics.
You see my friend, there is need for you to note that, PA is both a field of study and profession. It is meant for individuals who want to go into government and a non profit organisation. Though the study is multi-dimentional, which means you can also fit in into the private sector as well. The ball is in your court to decide what you wanna study, only you can take this decision. Best of luck.
Thanks Bruv... Are u sure with this the VO could convienced on how masters in public admin relates to Bsc Economics? I'm just scared cos I don't want any denial as this will be my first time of going to an embassy, I hope u know what I mean. I've been following this thread from part one and I ensure to log into this thread every single day to read peoples posts and I copy and save sucesses stories and failed ones just to have them on my note pad and compare. I've also noted that being bold and looking into the VO's eyes and having a sound knowledge of my intended course and Bsc course is what it takes to get the visa. I intend going to the embassy just once and come out with the green ticket for the visa.... Bruv thank so much and all dons in d house. I hope I'm doing the right thing by going in for a Masters in Public Admin and I hope the VO wouldbe conviences cos I've read from here about people being denied. Cos their intended course stands apart from their first degree

But I'm thinking during my interview, the VO might just say both courses aren't related. Guys should I continue with d application for Masters in Public Admin or I should just go for a different course related to Economics. Pls dons in d house advise me on this.. I dey beg una
