haibe: That's to show you how unrealistic fifa is, penalty isn't that hard, is it? How can a whole team take 8 penalties and score just 1, its so annoying, penalty is not that hard real life, PES made it very realistic, the only problem you face in pes penalty is what you face real life, the right direction to take and caution in applying force to the ball, that how it is real life unlike fifa where i have to be in a chess mode in order to take a penalty, rubbish, even a non-professional footballer won't find it so hard to score a penalty.

Pes all the way jare, the graphics alone on pc is killing, the only thing i don't like is that the only have one commentary, the need other commentators. Am tired of jon and jim.

By the way i can trash anyone on fifa because there are set-backs in the game, a simple up-through ball will do the trick, haha it beats all the defender and the striker is unmarkable, i am able to score 8 goals in a march using just up-through ball, lmao what a useless game.
I seriously doubt if you have played against anyone that knows how to play FIFA...

EA Sports!!! Its In The Game!!!

FIFA Rules...

Sad that Nigeria isn't still on FIFA14, but its still FIFA all the way.

PES became crap when they abbreviated the name from Pro Evolution Soccer to PES (after 2007 I think). Pro Evolution Soccer on Xbox was really something else.

I played FIFA on PS3 for the first time in 2009 and that was the end between myself and PES. I can't imagine myself playing PES again.

PoliticsNew PDP, False Dawn, Social Illusions - Dodoh Okafor by Fitzy4real(op):
Another Group To Ignore

I had previously written an essay questioning how different the newly registered APC is from the ruling PDP. I got plenty of responses from readers and commentators but none came close to identifying any marked difference between the Tinubu-Buhari promoted party and the one that has GEJ as the national leader. We may not accept it for a fact but I strongly feel that there is no Nigerian today with the resources, reach and structures to floor Mr. Jonathan in a presidential contest. If I were Jonathan, I would simply sit back and watch the whole drama sipping from my bottle of cognac. It is a clear indication of historical illiteracy when commentators begin to assign any importance or real value to anybody opposed to the ambitions, whims and wishes of a sitting president- at least in Nigeria.

I have asked several people what they think of the APC and her promoters and surprisingly, very little is known of the party outside the pages of newspapers. To the beer parlour proprietor in Enugu, the shoemaker in Aba, the patent medicine dealer in Onitsha, the mai-suya in Abuja, the bus conductor in Lagos and the mai-ruwas of Kano, APC does not exist. Many of them, as they have no TV, listens only to music from their small radio set and if they ever watch TV, they only see home movies, are yet to hear of APC and their promoters. They may gloat that Okorocha of Imo state is in the party but I am yet to understand how Okorocha and his co-travellers intend to convince Ndi Igbo that a party that sanctioned the deportation of their people at night, dumping them at headbridge has the interest of those same people at heart. The bottom-line dear friends is: APC is registered with INEC but is hardly registered in the sub consciousness of many- which is the harder part. And when they do, the real challenge begins. It is then that they will be made to answer the question of how they intend to govern, better than what PDP has offered in the last 14 years?

But there is a new development and some naive fellows are falling for it including a dude who should know better- the former EFCC chair- Nuhu Ribadu. In a post on his social networking site last time, he commended the renegades and rebels who walked away from the PDP special convention last Saturday to form what they curiously tagged: NEW PDP. To Ribadu and people who reason like him, the actors in this sordid drama are courageous and must be hailed as heroes but dear Mr. Ribadu, I politely beg to differ.

Pray, what hope does Atiku’s antecedents inspire? What are his core ideologies? What does he stand for and how does he see politics- as a means to an end or an end in itself? Recall that this man left the PDP in 2007 and ran for the presidency under another party- AC or whatever and when his indiscretion failed like it was designed to, he shamelessly scampered back into the PDP, claiming that he “founded” the party. It is now one of the unsolvable political equation how everyone fromOrji Kalu to Babangida to Achike Undenwa and even Chris Uba all claim to have founded the PDP.

At any rate, here is a home truth Mr. Abubakar’s advisers are not telling him: Nigerians have grown too sophisticated for his tricks and shenanigans. The country needs disciplined and humble politicians not those who see themselves as larger than life, around whom the sun rotates and who must be president for Nigeria to be “good.” I wonder if the importance of humility and discipline were taught these men- including the shameless governors who have nothing but shame to present as their scorecards in governance.

The truth is that whoever wishes to be king must be submissive to the king (even if in pretence) and there can be no two ways about it. Jonathan is the president. He remains the president till 2015 and is very eligible for re-election in 2015. Nigerians like me must be given the opportunity to make our choice at the poll. If we feel Jonathan should continue, who is Amaechi, Atiku, Kwankwaso and the ugly one to stop us? The same way, they too are free to put themselves up for election and test their popularity beyond the pages of newspaper. PDP they must be reminded is not the only arty in the land. Jonathan has taken over the structures in PDP and so what? Let them move over to APC, APGA, LP, PPA, PDM and take control. Am certain they will find supporters and promoters. I am not sure however they will find enough admirers to be take over Aso Rock.

Enough of these distractions!!!!!!!!

Politics10 Reasons Why Mr. President Should Sack The Minister Of Petroleum Resources by Fitzy4real(op):
10 Reasons Why Mr. President Should Sack The Minister Of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke
By Comrade Timi Frank

Sir : Mr. President,

Find below 10 reasons why the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, should be relieved of her appointment:

1. The inability to explain how N1.7 trillion was allegedly paid to oil marketers for bogus fuel subsidy claims in 2012.

2. The indictment of departments under her by several panels, i.e. Nuhu Ribadu, Farouk Lawan, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede and the Nigerian Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI) reports.

3. The alleged transfer of the ownership of four oil mining licenses (OML), 30, 34, 26 and 42, to Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept, according to the Delta Producing Communities in a petition to the Senate.

4. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation's (NNPC) alleged failure to remit $4.84 billion, about N726 billion, to the Federation Account between 2009 to 2011.

5. The secrecy surrounding the illegal NNPC account with JP Morgan.

6. Illegal subsidy deductions by the NNPC under her watch. The Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), at a presentation before the House of Representatives, disclosed that, “by the Appropriation Act 2011, the NNPC is to be paid N81.720 billion from January-September 2011. However, the NNPC deducted N615.670 billion, which shows a difference of over N533.950 billion.
“Similarly, the PPPRA marketers’ subsidy provides N102.753 billion as Appropriation for subsidy in the 2011 budget for the period January-September 2011 but by September 2011, the PPPRA (Marketers’ subsidy) has been paid N647,660 billion, which shows a difference of over N544.907 billion."

7. Refusal by NNPC to remit taxes running into billions of Naira into the Federation Account according to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

8. The loss of $1billion (N155 billion) revenue monthly by the Federal Government to oil theft due to inefficiency in Ministry of Petroleum Resources according to the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

9. The alleged use of N2billion for private jets notwithstanding that the NNPC maintains a Challenger 850 Visa Jet which is supposed to serve the minister who is its Board Chairman. The cost of running the jet is put at $500,000 per month. This allegation is contained a petition submitted to the EFCC by Enugu-based “Crusader For Good Governance.”

10. Failure to avail Nigerians of any explanation on the discoveries contained in the NEITI report which covers from 2009 to 2011.
Mr. President, recall that the ex-Youth Development Minister, Alhaji Inuwa Abdulkadir was sacked for allegedly 'mismanaging' the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) elections. Also ex-Power Minister, Prof. Barth Nnaji was 'forced' to resign over alleged crisis of confidence.

Above all, most marketers that were indicted in the fuel subsidy scam are currently being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). What about those who who approved and paid the phony subsidy claims?

Mr. President, are all these allegations not enough for Diezani to resign honourably or be sacked by you? Or is the 'principle of 16 is greater than 19' also applicable here? We leave the answer to Nigerians!
Finally, Mr. President, I want to use this opportunity to appeal to you, on behalf of myself and the people of the Niger Delta and Nigerians at large, to please relieve Diezani Alison-Madueke of her job because the voice of the people is the voice of God. Please, Mr President, listen to the voice of the people as she does not represent the collective interest of the Bayelsa people as evident in her representation of the state in the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meetings.

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!

Signed:
Comrade Timi Frank

To: HIS EXCELLENCY,
DR. GOODLUCK EBELE AZIKIWE JONATHAN,
PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF OF THE ARMED FORCES,
FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA,
ASO ROCK VILLA,
ABUJA.

Have they considered

1.) The non-yoruba's in public schools or would the language be imposed on them.
2.) How their students will write exams such as common entrance, WAEC, NECO, JAMB etc...
3.) South-westerners in living other geo-political zones of the federation or would they be left behind.

It is a good idea trying to preserve our languages but there are other more important issues facing the South west to be dealt with
