Technology Market / Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by Fiyincious: 1:17pm On May 09
Hello my experienced pple,

I do have this Firman 8kva generator I bought for a printing machine.

The machine uses an heating oven -(Total power of the machine is 5kw)

However when I load the machine on my 8kw firman Gen, the sounds changes continuously to the fluctuations of the heating machine.. Is this normal?

Hope I don't have to worry about the AVR or coil of the Gen getting burnt?

Thanks.

Romance / Re: Help! My Friend Is In Love With A Sex Doll by Fiyincious: 12:06pm On May 01
Sapasenator:
Hell Nairalanders,

I have this friend who is madly in love with a sex doll. He is seriouse and considering marriage at this point. Both of them are madly in love.

I tried to persuade him that it was a bad idea but my friend gave the following points for going on with the doll;

1.doll is a virgin
2. Zero body count.
3. Doll looks 25 and will never age.
3. Constant sex anytime without serenren.
4. No in-law wahala
5. She is never going to cheat on my friend.
6. My friend is free to have side cheeks whiteout his wife compaining.
7. Doll is very beautiful.
8. No arguments in the home.
9. Savings money on food at home after marriage.
10. No nagging in the relationship.
11. The doll at least will listen to him when he talks.

Now these are the points raised by my friend and I am inclined to partly agree with him.

Now he promised never to cheat on his doll wife after marriage.

What do you guys think, is my friend crazy?

You no confess if na u b the so called friend. Lol

It’s PPR O’clock 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
A journey that started in 2018, getting first hand information from this goldmine of a platform, I am forever grateful. 🥹

Timeline…

2018
My friend told me about this the Canadian express entry program after she relocated via study route. Joined Nairaland and the trajectory of my life changed. It was all I could think of, I digested the infamous page 1 very well. Next things was to evaluate my bachelors degree and write ielts. Scores were in the 440’s. I sent my transcripts to WES within paying (lol), scores gradually increased to 450s and I knew I needed a second degree.

2019
The hunt for a second degree started, registered for CIMA and after 2 exams I knew I could not handle it, next was Noun PGD, in-fact that school eehn, I regret it till now (story for another day), finally I went for UNILAG HRDC, and I started my 6months degree program (Jun-Dec) I also wrote my first Ielts and I did not get my desired results 💔anyways we move… Wrote my final exams and we had to wait for results to come out the following year.

2020
With high hopes that I would get my results by January,UNILAG Senate said hold my beer 😥, by March 2020 results were out and immediately added it to my Wes application with my bachelors degree that has be gathering dust since 2018, I paid and BOOM 💥 COVID HAPPENED. We all know how that period, Omo everywhere shut down. Fast forward to June, WES received my unilag transcript and my evaluation came out. Wrote ielts for the 2nd time and I had a L8.5,R8.5,S8,W6.5, I wanted to faint, sent it for a remark and it came back unchanged. Picked up the courage and wrote it for the 3rd time this time I had L8.5 R7.5,S9,W7. I jumped into the pool with a CRS score of 468. I waited patiently and watched the scores go down with every draw that happened. December 2020 the final draw of the year and the score was 468, I danced and rejoiced, only for me to find out I was affected by tie-breaking rule 💔 Damn, moving on…

2021
The Long pause… No Fsw draws😭, tried everything to also get Oinp, MPNP, Nbpnp, Alberta pnp, none was forthcoming.

2022
The long pause continues… 2nd and 3rd ielts expired. I started looking into study visa (Uk, & Canada) applied and got rejected (Premium tears). Took my L in peace and moved on. Draws resumed but the scores were so high, chaii… I started French lessons and gave myself 1 year to write the exam.

2023
French lesson continued, also registered for my MBA classes, wrote 5th ielts, anything to get the extra points. While all these were happening & months passing by, the wave of bill c-19 news were spreading, ircc would invite candidates based on specific Noc, I told myself this might be it o, I have to align myself, I must have my ITA this year. Eventually the list of Noc’s came out and I created a new profile, lo and behold on the 20th of September the Cbd Transport draw favored me. Oh I cried 😭 I danced, rolled on the floor, jumped, screamed. What a glorious moment. I submitted my application in October and the wait begins!!!

2024
While others were getting Bil/Mil/MEP in 2-4weeks, it took ircc 90 days to send mine, hmmm okay o but hey, if it took me 5 years to get ITA what is 90 days ehhn? The character development one will experience in this journey is real. After biometrics has been linked and MEP on gckey, now I wait for ppr. Oh the crippling anxiety, I kept thinking about different things, from ADR to Pof top up because of exchange rate, review required… ha God Abeg ooo.
I told myself once my application gets to 4th month I would call ircc to know the update, little did I know that my ppr is close by. I got the infamous “Do not reply email” on the 5th and oh boyyyy, the way my heart kept beating twice as fast… I finally opened my account and I saw my PPR letter sitting pretty. Wow FINALLY I HAVE MY EVIDENCE. My very own ppr, all the years of hustling, hard-work, dedication and commitment to this journey, it has FINALLY ENDED IN PRAISE FOR ME.

If you are on this journey, I want to encourage you to keep your head high, put in the hard work, and it will definitely come true. It may seem like there’s no way out, but once there is a will there’s a way.

I want to say thank you to Zandora for creating this beautiful gold mine of a thread the OG, where it all started, now everyone has moved to Telegram & WhatsApp, lol…
Stay tuned for my Landing Gist…

Here’s my Timeline

ITA - 20th September 2023
AOR - 9th October 2023
MEP- 8th January 2024
UCI changed - 8th January 2024

Tracking of mobile phone will allow you spot kidnap victims whose pictures have been released to the public, but are still being moved around the towns and cities by their abductors in plain sight that is tinted?

Remind me again what purpose the tinted glass is serving?

Protects against the harsh sun, reduces heat within cars. Helps sight

Bros, you are a low income earner. What you earn is even lower than what PSWs earn in Ontario cleaning yansh. So you want to use service technician job to build mansions? Or you expected that when you get to Canada they will make you their central bank governor?
You even have $400 after expenses, that's more than 400k naira ( 1cad = 1026 naira) as at today. Are you telling me that service technicians in Lagos doing the same job you are doing get up to 400k a month after expenses in Lagos? If you have built houses in Nigeria, then you didn't build it doing service technician work. I don't know why some of you think that once you land abroad, you become a millionaire and when it doesn't happen, you start ranting like somebody send you message.

Everybody will have different experiences based on several factors like location, occupation, work experience etc. I'm a citizen living in Ontario. I had to go back to school to pursue a career in an in demand field. Once I overcame the initial entry level struggle and got my first job and had some experience to showcase at interviews, boy o boy, every year has been better than the previous year. I have changed jobs 3 times in 5 years and anytime I move to another job, i draw at least 35% more money. So My brother, don't use your experience to paint everybody, yours is unique to you. Some will be high earners, some will be middle earners while some will be low income earners so there is no big deal about your experience

Anybody who has sense knows that Canada is not heaven and there are challenges except their intention is to become overnight millionaires once they land like you thought, in that case na dem sabi.

You are greedy. People who are doing okay in Nigeria that came here came due to other factors, money was not on top of their list cos I was in that category but you despite your houses and thriving businesses came with the mindset of making millions and now you are ranting so I don't have sympathy for people like you as you are one of the reasons Nigeria has become nonsense due to greedy people.

Rightly said. G R E E D. Someone who has several houses in Nigeria shouldn't expect heaven of billionaires in Canada. People leaving for Canada just want basic life that they ought to have to lived in thier motherland, which they never had due to lack of political connection or bad governance.

If you are doing well in naija stay, do not reduce slots for the upcoming japarians.

It will not affect it if you package the application well. I am a Canadian citizen too, I have sponsored 2 of my siblings and the 3rd sibling’s application was submitted Oct 5. I did the applications all by myself too.

What I did is, if the person is a minor, I use my Canadian SOA and if not, I pay first year tuition and deposit living expenses into their account.

Hope this helps.

Any of them married before you sponsor successfully ?

I have watched and followed you closely on this space for long. What you do here is to discourage people from travelling to Canada by saying the negative side of Canada to people. All these while you've been writing rubbish and chunning our rhetorics and narratives to put fear on intending 'japarians' yet you are still in Canada. What is wrong with you? Stop discouraging People. Don't advice us. When we get to the river we will cross it. Nigeria is already a failed entity. Rest Mr Man.

Reading through what you shared
1. Anyone can be the principal applicant, but if you are applying as the principal applicant you need to cover for the study gap
2. Both accounts should be built
3. No, it is not a red flag, so go ahead with the court registry

Thank you, due to the study Gap you pointed out, I Will prefer she becomes the principal applicant. But I must be the sponsor right?

I'm looking at her age and fresh NCE for her to have gathered the amount to sponsor herself. This won't be a Red flag?

And thanks for the registry advise. I will get that done this month then. (some1 was suggesting backdate bla bla)

Dear bosses, pls i need advise on how best to approach Canada with fam. Either by me applying for masters or wife applying for a diploma.

My timeline is 1 year.
I intend to start planning and taking steps from now from whatever we might need.

I'm a freelancer but i have a registered biz name /account that has been active with inflows along the years.
I plan to start keeping funds for this travel purpose for Fall program 2024.

I,m 38 (experienced worker but nw freelancer) Wife is 25 (just through with NCE a year ago), we have a year and half old child.

My question are-

(1)Who is best to be the primary applicant? (to study abroad)

(2)Whose account should we build?

(3)Doing court registry this month oct 2023 now. Will this be mature enough to apply for study visa as married couple or will be suspicious as issued in less than a year ahead of Winter or fall program 2024)

Pls advice
