NGL, I'm nervous. Like so so nervous. Then I saw this on Facebook

CRAZY FACT: Despite Liverpool conceding 52 goals in the Premier League this season, there has been only one team which failed to score against Liverpool this season. And that team is Arsenal.

It's the first time Arsenal have been the only team not to score against a specific side since 1998-99, when they were also the only team not to score against Liverpool.

Arsenal finished second that season with 1 point behind Manchester united who won the league.

We also lost our second to last game against leeds united away (1-0) and then winning 1-0 against Aston Vila on the last day of the season.

I don't know why I'm having weird feelings like this. Our second to last game is Burnley and our last game is crystal palace.

Could this be a script??
Baba calm down 🤣

I’m not nervous one bit against Burnley.

Highest, we win them 1-0.

My little concern na crystal palace and that one self, if Man City get a draw against Bournemouth (which I pray would be the case) the match would be inconsequential.

I don't even think something like this requires much of mentorship. I believe he was already an adult by the time he had his first degree, so it should not be a big deal for him to scan his environment to know pursuing his passion of PhD in International Relations is not going to fill his belly anytime soon.

I'm sure the guy was not blind seeing some of his boys former course mates veer into various career paths away from their field just to make a living themselves. He must be really strong headed to keep pursuing PhD knowing he has not academic job waiting for him anywhere.

My former boss' son graduated with 2'1 in political science in his early 20's. I recently spoke with his dad asking what the boy does and he told me he's into tech. He asked his dad to buy him a high-performance computer in in final year to begin coding. Now the boy is fully into coding . That boy didn't even have any mentor that told him to go into tech, he was just aware of his environment well enough to know tech is the way to go.
You are right.

I believe the guy lacks self awareness apart from his lack of exposure.

Na so now.
I was Just discussing with someone this morning about how ABU still offer courses like Acheology.

Obviously, there is a gap in mentorship for naija teenagers and thats where people like Eric Gugua comes in.

Probably, if this guy had the right mentorship, he would have made better choices to guide his survival in the labor market.

I believe in going after the money first , then follow your passion later. Whatever path will make you money follow it first , once you start earning you have all the time in the world to decide whether you still want to follow that passion or not.

For example I know a man who studied pharmacy at OAU in the 80's. He became a pharmacist, worked as medical supplier for some foreign companies and later owned his own pharmaceutical company. I think in the mid 2000's he decided to follow his passion of studying law. He studied law at the university and spent an extra year in law school and was called to the bar.

That man first pursued a career that made him enough money and time to afford him pursue his passion much later. I like that school of thought. I am never against following passion, but don't pursue ur passion while your belly is empty.
A CEO at Gold Man- Sachs having achieved alot from his banking career, is now pursuing his passion of beign a DJ cool

He goes by the name DJ D-Sol. cheesy

That's why I don't want Eze and zubi to start the remaining 3 games we have
Eze have one annoying lackadaisical attitude on pitch as if he's the one that carry every player to come play ball.
On one hand, I am thinking its because this is his first time playing these amount of games and he is exhausted, but then again, the attitude he displays isn't showing someone that is meant for top level football.

Baba is getting comfortable because he has achieved his dream move to Arsenal.

He is lucky Odegaard has been out of form, if not, him go rot for bench.

The fact that the camera focused for long on Arteta, Heinze and Stuvenberg discussing longer than expected and also zoomed in on Captain Saka beckoning to the bench and gesturing why the delay reveals man has plan A mostly. And this thing has happened in last 2 seasons. Infact, i can dig up my post about how the lack of options in key positions reveal his lack of plan B and injuries without replacement has dealt heavily with us in the title race gaaan.
The 3 of them look Summerville finish asif na Kvara and decided Rice was best option instead of bringing on Mosquera. I was pissed and many of the players on pitch wondered why the long hestitation sotey we played with 10men for almost 4mins. Shuu.

MLS for just stay middle, Mosquera for White and with how the middle choke we fit even play 3 at the back. That would have even hampered Summerville and Soucek influence and forced Wan Bissaka to return to deeper. But
Many still no wan criticize Arteta with full chest when mess up is obvious. Something Mou and Ancelotti chop wella

I sha dey pray make he get plan A, B, and C for that UCL final. Cos Coach like Enrique fit see that kine thing and his craze go begin cook something like wetin he cook for Olise in 2nd leg😂😂

3games to Glory!!
Well said.

That Enrique fit dey watch all our matches right now.

BlueRayDick:
I really don't understand Arteta's decision yesterday with Rice being played at right back.

I feel he was confused seeing White taken off which upset his plans before half time. As much as I don't appreciate the overly criticism of Arteta by some section of our fans for the past 2 seasons, I acknowledge that the criticism for that decision he made that yesterday is well justified.

The decision showed he only had Plan A in the match and no plan B at all
. Seeing white going out injured, he wanted us to to sustain our attacking momentum by bringing on Zubi so Lewis-Skelly can continue in Midfield and Calafiori still probing the West Ham defence to add to our attacing threat. But he was fooolish not to see that Rice being withdrawn from Midfield gives the Hammers more room to operate.

Like every other fan, I am glad he corrected that error at the start of second half.

That being said, I think he deserves credit for bringing on Odegaard and Havertz who had instant impact in the match which led to the goal eventuallyy. Bringing on Havertz and allowing Gyokeres to remain on the pitch with his height and physique causing chaos in the Hammers backline is a masterstroke. I was impressed with Havertz contesting every aerial ball till the last blow of the whistle, he didn't give that Lazy vibes at all.

When season end, we go table Eze matter.....
I don't think that decision required a plan B.

It was a like for like substituition, there was nothing to overthink about.

He complicated the situation. If you look at it self, the attacking momentum he was worried about, Mosquera had an attacking input to that goal.

Bar that decision, he got everyother substituition right seeing that West Ham game plan was to win the game with a counter attack.

Eze is slow and Non challant.

He is not making enough impact and clearly isn't aware of the urgency of our games.

Na why I dey rate Rice highly, even when he is having a bad game (which is few this season).

By the way, WTF was Arteta thinking to play Rice at RB yesterday? I am just glad he quickly corrected his mistake.

Aside from the manager of the month stuff, Arteta has never won an epl game in April since 2022 I can remember. This April is the best April cus we even won an epl game. Motm plus his own village curse affect am well for April.
City to draw again before the last day biko.
I don’t know whether it’s luck or not. Or the god of football was just on our side, the month of April was always our downfall no matter how he tried to salvage the situation, and it was irrespective of wether he won MOTM or not.
