Ben White sell this match.
Big gabby was in similar situation twice and but cases his hands were on his back.
One even touched his hands but was not called because his hands were at his back.
But Ben white was too foolish to be alert and on guard.
We move.
Hopefully we finish them off at the Emirates. |

As usual Madueke played another stinker.
Gyokeres body Dey heavy am. He plays like someone wearing timber land.
Martinelli was Martinelli.
My anger was with Arteta for not subbing Saka in on time and waiting till end of the season to try Skelly in midfield.
We needed more goals today and baba was celebrating the win like it’s over.
Champions league next. God Abeg I go need winning to take hold body. |

Spy360: While it shows leadership, I think he is overdoing it. He is exerting too much energy and trying to do everything which affects his overall performance.
I prefer the Odegaard style. Use your brain more than your energy.
My only drawback against Odegaard is his inability to take risk.
He had an opportunity to shoot but chose to pass to Havertz who wasn't even expecting it. What you termed as Energy in this case is actually Grit. |

mostob: He did it first time but recovered quickly. His pressing that led to that Havertz chance must have gingered him to try again I guess he was exhausted. Martinelli normally tracks back whenever he is on the pitch despite his shortcomings. I give that to him. |

Its good to have a player that can interpret what you love on the pitch. It's also good to know when to unleash the drogons and allow your head chop breeze fom overthinking.

germaphobe: the coach back off?, I don't understand. Our first trophy wasn't meant to come as a hand out to us, we have to bleed for it and show character development and maturity. It was always going to be hard and that's where Arteta and his boss shows what they are made of. This loss should open their eyes, if they go on to win the league, the respect would be great because they showed strength. We can only hope Arteta does better and think correctly going forward. He needs to ease off with tactical and information overload and let the players express themselves and impose their personalities during games. I agree, winning cancels disrespect and no one is saying is going to be easy, but atleast show grit and determination. It’s something that the whole world can see if it is there and not that lackluster performance against Bournemouth we witnessed over the weekend. |

But I am still waiting for his stance on Arteta by end of the season. (Him and Mostob) If no be say Arteta fall him hands, baba made the call that would/should be winning the league by Nov/Dec by 9 points or so. Tell me if that has not been the case all this while. |

germaphobe: i have this flicker of hope that we would come out of etihad without a loss. I saw Zubimendi's apology post, thank God he knows the gravity of his mistake on Saturday and accepted responsibility. It's left to see how he and the rest of the team react on Wednesday and sunday. 4 league losses should be the maximum number if we are serious about epl trophy, anymore loss would be a big jeopardy. If we can avoid a defeat to City, then 15 out of 18 possible point is enough to win the league. That apology is from a parody account..o That Wednesday fixture is supposed to give us a mental and emotional reset before the man city game. Also, I want the coach to back off the team for now, let the guys decide if they want to write their name in history or not. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 10:26am On Apr 14 |
daveP: I've always said Pep's team is the metric. If we want to outrank them then we need to do whatever they're doing better or just ensure we never drop points to teams they drop points to.
Preference go kee Arteta if e no fix up. I hate to say this but this man fit start Kai in 10 vs City. The way city went into the January window was crazy. If we got 2 buys, we won't be here right now.
But there's no guarantee too that if we got the buys, confusion no go catch dem too. That risky at the back and cautious upfront levels don mentally affect everybody as it stands. Question is
Can Arteta shift the risk taking further up the pitch and with personnel too? Areteta prefers players that aren't a threat to his ego. Yes, you might have personality but not so much that it threatens him. Its not entirely a bad thing..o, its just that you need players to have a mind of their own. We currently have few leaders in the team. Everyone wants to align with him and play to his instructions. When things go bad, no one to grab the game by scruff of the neck. |

Some thing I have noticed is that Man City, I mean Guardiola and his players aren’t afraid to talk about Arsenal but us on the other hand, we hardly want to talk about man city or their players.
Anytime it comes up in interviews we always want to deflect by saying we want to focus on us, on what we can control.
All these are subtle form of mind games that indicate dominance and submission.
I need our players to talk boldly about them. Fvck them, Fvck their mentality. I want us to tell them to their face that we would come go Etihad and pick up points.
But then again, it’s all wishful thinking. At this point, Bernardo Silva and Rodri has more balls than all our players.
Let’s see how next week pans out. |

daveP: There was one one-two Tavanier did with scott from. The back till the our box.
Kai, Zubi and White could not wrestle the ball away from these two. It took Saliba to recover the ball with White acting like no be him dey play RB😭😂😂
One sweet counter, Rice hesitated to give the ball to Trossard. Arteta shouted at him to pass it. He did and that one lose ball and was running like Tyrion Lannister and it led to cK las las after a scare at the back.
If Olise dey this team, Arteta go inhibit that guy. Fear and Caution is no winger's strength. Martinelli is the boldest winger at the club as it is right now, hilarious as it seems. Between Martinelli and Trosaard, I no know who Dey annoying pass now. To think that Trosaard used to give me joy with his decisiveness and seriousness. Now, he just plays as if nothing Dey at stake. Martinelli go use energy take play nonsense. If no be champions league, him no Dey play with sense. Omo! Who get us like this. |
