In fact, when he hit that shot I thought he side-netted. At the open air sports arena I watched the match, we were all in shock when he hit that ball. He was clouded by bias because he felt we were trying to do some dark art shit and manipulate the game in our favor.

Objectively, it’s a wake up call for us, because being ultra defensive can be seen as a negative football and can influence referees to want to punish us for it.
We need to learn to grab games and go toe to toe with whoever we are playing with.
