Leo!!!!!

he is going to be missed. (Thank God we still have Merino sha!)

I hope Martinelli steps up this season even if Tzolis is coming.

Salibas' injury left me with a bitter taste but I wont say I didn't see it coming.

Time for him to get the deserved rest.

Mosquera better step up too and avoid silly mistakes like the one he made in the UCL final.

I expect us to be without D. Rice when the new season starts. He is now dealing with a hamstring and it seems inevitable that he will miss a few games at the start of the season. The number of minutes he has played since last year is diabolical.
Rice needs rest.

Everyone needs to step up next season and the coach needs to learn to rotate heavily from time to time.

Rice don try abeg.

I can't believe that I am yet to come to terms with the fact that we won the league.

I just thought of some matches like, Burnley, westham, wolves and everton match and still felt the level of nerves I had during that period.

Omo! I suffer last season sha. angry

I think they have responded to your enquiries.

Just to add, even if he is to be considered for squad rotation. There are those that profer offensive threat more than him for example Merino, Gavi and the likes are still there.

If na to play RB, Pedro Porro is in great form.

His only option is that DM role and Rodri is one of the best in the world for that position.

After all the noise about this Ponzi scheme dies down another Ponzi scheme will rise up within 2-3 years and people will fall again.

Just read your past statement. It seems there is an element of wickedness added. They know it’s fraudulent but want to cash out before it crashes and leave others hanging.
Exactly.

Thats my point.

How come Nigerians always fall for these Ponzi schemes so easily?
Greed.

Nigerians have irrational desire for quick money so that they can call it grace.

Immediatly the last ponzi scheme crashed, there were people queing to engage in another one.

At that point, they didn't care if it is the same company rebranding.

They just wanted to cash out as they believed that they would be among the lucky ones before it crashes.

Ability to open agency and be collecting allocation
Fair enough.

Then there is need to make official enquiries on how long this has been going on and how deep it runs. Not sure Tinubu has the political will or desire to do that because he would most likely be burnt in the process.

In my opinion, this form of corruption started from Buharis' era.

That man (God rest in soul) allowed coruption to thrive and escalate despite criticising Jonathan for it.

Tinubu takes corruption to a systematic level. Corruption itself becomes an agency of government, an institution.

Like he did in Lagos where he dipped his hands permanently into Lagos treasury since 1999 till date.

This is the kind of fellow Raumdeuter is trying to sell to me. 😭
Tinubu speaks like someone who means well for this country.

Some of his reforms has the hallmark of someone that wants to see a changed country (wether for good or bad is another discussion).

Then again, you look at some of his actions and begin to think like hol up!, this doesn't look right.

Take for instance, the core road infracture development that is mostly handled by Chagoury, it is as if there are no other company that can to be a better job.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Fkforyou(m): 4:52pm On Jul 06
The level of corruption that has been associated with this administration is quite disturbing.

Like, it is a systemic one that can only be detected when someone decides to look critically.

If they are not forging signatures on tax gazzettes, they are creating fake agencies.

Then, there is the issue of budget padding.

Inspite of all these, the leader of this country still expects us to be tax compliant as per patriotic citizens wey we be.

We conceded one earlier in the Champions league . I've forgotten the team we played, but I remember Ben White had his arm stretched out away from his body when a shot was played and the ref awarded a PK against us in that particular Champions league group stage match.

That was the only PK we conceded prior to that PSG match.

We really had a solid defense this season; not just good defenders but defenders who avoided serious fouls at all cost within the 18 yard area
Oh Yes! Thats true.

Kudos to the team.

They tried this season walahi.

Very fvcked up country with its fvcked up leaders who are solely concerned about their political ambition than making any significant impact.

Incompetence in governance became worse during APC tenure.

This is the truth that we are not willing to admit.

Ode seem uninterested yesterday and I think we should be moving on from him, a normal theme in big games for him... Eze needs to be serious else he won't last under Arteta, I saw Nelli recovering balls inside the box yesterday no wonder MA would rather die for him with his off the chart work rate off the ball...

Eze to me bar some spark here and there has been underwhelming last season with high turnover of possessions.... One thing you can never faults Noni for is his work rate
True!

Come to think of it, I never believe Havertz had it in him to score that type of goal he netted yesterday with the pressure and all.

In fact, when he hit that shot I thought he side-netted. At the open air sports arena I watched the match, we were all in shock when he hit that ball. We couldn't decide if the ball hit the back of the net or if it was just a case of side netting. It was when the replayed was shown the reality hit us all.

I believe yesterday's match was a lesson for all members of the team and the management Sha. Mosquera has definitely learnt his lesson and would time his tackles wella going forward.

I'm proud of the team for how far we've come over time!
So, I watched it at the pool side of trancorp Hilton, and the sun was still up then, making the projector not to clear. When Hervertz score, all of us no react till we saw him celebrating 🤣😂.

It was as if them jazz all of us at that moment.

The most painful aspect for me is the English press making seem like it's all about Gabu miss and making excuses for Eze's; Watching Sky Sports today makes me sick about the bias...

Gabu is up there with Raya for us this season ...
Well, I just pray he steps up next season especially if we can get someone with better work rate and creativity than him.

Same with Odegaard, against really top teams Odegaard who is supposed to be our creative outlets usually go ghost mode.

Congratulations to Rice, Gabriel and Rice ; they all deserve the special mention. If Timber wasn't injured he would've made the RB slot I'm very sure.

We really had a fantastic year honestly! All our players did really well. I like the fact that there's a great team spirit around the team.
I agree. Timber was having a good season before the injury.

They did well I won’t lie, but like I previously said, we need upgrades on our attackers and we have to let some people go.

Yea.. Kudos to the team.
Eze is too casual. I detest thta kind of attitude. I mean look at Saliba, he looks calm, serious and gentle on the pitch but outside, he is just like a spoilt kid 😂. Eze needs to sit himself down and do better.

Yea.. I saw the video. It was Mitchell telling him not to play PK like that. To think he was a sub.

It's just so unfortunate that most of our PK specialists were not on the pitch yesterday. Saka, Odegaard, Havertz and Merino.
I try not to appraise the game too much because if I do, it would be as if I’m being emotional about the loss.

I can be upset but it’s doesn’t make some of my observations incorrect.

I already spoke about Ezes attitude, he is giving me that Pepe vibe, and won’t last long if he doesn’t step up.

Go and rewatch the highlights, after missing the penalty, he smiled but had to call himself to order when he remembered it’s a final.
That level of naivety is disturbing and shows lack of mental maturity and strength.

If there is one thing I hate in a player is someone who is weak and timid on the pitch. Na why certain players can’t survive under Guardiola, case in point Zinchenko.

Gabriel missed the penalty you might say, but one thing for a fact is that, he was our best player in the pitch yesterday, especially during that first half.

About the officiating, it was horrible, no need sugar coating it.
Just the way I complained here during the game, same way others were complaining in various watsapp group I was in.
I also checked twitter it was same thing.

The ref had scores to settle with us especially after that Atletico Madrid game.
He was clouded by bias because he felt we were trying to do some dark art shit and manipulate the game in our favor.

Objectively, it’s a wake up call for us, because being ultra defensive can be seen as a negative football and can influence referees to want to punish us for it.
We need to learn to grab games and go toe to toe with whoever we are playing with.

Finally, let’s enjoy this parade, we’ve earned it. Man City lost the league but still paraded their Mini cups, so I see no reason we should not enjoy winning the premier league trophy.
This is for the haters trying to rub yesterdays lose on our faces.
