daveP: MLS is key for our creativity in this UCL KO stages. Its time for him to return to the lineup, but in midfield. He's that risk taker that clicks down the middle, can't be bullied off the ball as well. That PSG game made everyone realize he was a gem. Will coachie take that risk so we can get goals early. Can't imagine us struggling to get a goal for 90mins on UCL nights just cos approach is stiffling everyone in attack, starters or subs.
Get MLS on abeg. It would be nice if MLS plays the number 6 role with Rice mentoring him. He is a risk taker but also rash sometimes, that is where Rice comes in. Zubi don tire well, na Timber I dey pity self, baba was forced to play FA cup because white no want just dey fit at all. Him and Calafiori. |

germaphobe: Everyone at the club knows Saka isn't turning up as expected, that's true. But Saka is not the kind of player you allow his contract to run down before making an attempt, cus a lot of clubs are monitoring the process. Today he wasn't convincing especially after the restart, just like in some other games. But there are also games where even though he didn't score nor assisted, he played good. I believe it is a matter of time and form, but then till when ... I think Saka deserves grace. I remember how we complained about the number of games he was playing at that young age. He has over 300 at 24 caps now. He is also, affected by that harmstring injury he had last year, I think he is trying to be cautious because of the upcoming WC. He was awful in our last match, but he can be excused. |

KarlTom: These D. Raya stat is for Arsenal alone.
2023–24. 32G 16CS 2024–25. 38G 13CS 2025–26* 30G 14CS
Total 100G 43CS
He had 20CS in 62G for Brentford Omo, Raya is good..o see stats abeg. The fact that he had less amount of games to those greats he is been compared to means that he is doing a good job. He has few numbers to overtake Becker that has stayed in Liverpool longer. I am not ruling the impact of Gaberiel and Saliba on his stats even though same argument can used for Cech too. P.S Van Der Sar thinks Raya isn't world class but Onana is, according to him. Omo! Man U legends to gba sometimes. |

mostob: When David Bentley is a teenager coming through at Arsenal, he walks into the canteen at the training camp and sits down where he feels like sitting.
It’s Patrick Vieira’s seat.
Vieira comes over, taps him on the shoulder and keeps it short.
“Get out of my seat. You’re in my seat.”
Bentley looks up and decides he isn’t playing along.
“I wasn’t going to let anyone mug me off.”
“If I was on the street, no chance. I’m not moving.”
Vieira just stands there, in front of the whole squad, watching this kid double down on it.
Bentley can feel the room clocking it, because everyone knows what the rules are, and he’s pretending they don’t exist.
“There’s a hierarchy but I don’t know, I’m not having that.”
Vieira doesn’t say a word. Moves seat.
Bentley was feeling smug with himself after standing up to the captain.
The smile was quickly wiped off his face during the training.
“He kept smashing me…”
“I never sat in his seat again after that.”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Is this real? LMAO!!!! T The guy want mess with the captain of the team that had huge egos?? I like Vieras response. Him clear him doubt |

Like fans are raving about his return.
Personally, I think he is dangerous and can change games.
To think that about 2 seasons ago, I was pissed off at his signing.

Spy360: If Sterling had played the football he played for Liverpool and Man City, we would have been praising the signing as the biggest steal in football history
You're complaining based on hindsight
Every deal is a risk, the bigger the risk the bigger the rewards. Not all deals will work. Sterling didn't work. So just move on.
It's not like we paid anything for it. It was a zero loan fee and even 60% of his wages were still paid by Chelsea. So why the noise? Hol Up! My opinion and stance about the deal has been consistent, infact I dare say almost everyone here except maybe you, had the same reaction. Really You are sounding like Edu, like it was your personal project and you are feeling attacked. I personally think you are the one that is bickering based on the fact that I condemned the signing. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 1:50pm On Feb 26 |
Spy360: A bit of context
Sterling was not the plan. He was not even a plan B. He was a contingency arrangement.
Like when you go to replace a phone and the dealer offers you a SIM card that comes with a 60% bonus on recharge.
That SIM card will not replace the phone but it comes handy atimes.
Arsenal fans are the ones guilty of expecting a phone satisfaction from a SIM card.
Besides, Sterling had pedigree that most of our backup options would beg for. Having played for Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea and even won titles. Why did we end up in the situation where we were forced to settle for him? Was he the only available option? Was he the best option we could have gotten both within and aside the league? When we brought Odegaard and Ceballous which pedigree did they have? |

But like play like play, Chelsea are now our wife. Previously they dealt with us, using Drogba. I remember him scoring in 11 straight games against us.. Chai! we don too suffer. Now is payback time. |
