Let’s just wait and see. Because, Roland17 no go para reach me I swear. What a rubbish night of football Abeg. People were predicting we would win comfortably but I was skeptical because I know this team and they didn’t prove me wrong. It’s starting to look like a curse. How comes at crucial part of the season, the players begins to fumble anyhow. Gyokeres was useless tonight but he was way better than G Jesus, that’s to show you the level of trash G.Jesus was. No pressing from the front. Imagine wasting time against fvcking Wolves, not Man City but the worst team in premier league history, we were doing time wasting technique. God punish all of them for ruining my night. |

mostob: He has the leadership aura. He gats play more henceforth. And his passes from deep is exactly why some fans are still missing Partey. We missed those vertical passes especially for a team who has runners. That's one key area Arteta must improve in Summer. Someone mentioned Wharton. I like the guy but still not convinced. Partey?? I think he is more like the Jorginho vibes. We need leaders in the team just like you said, the coach needs to trust in him more. He is an experienced head. |

germaphobe: he is just a professional. No noise just doing his job when called upon. I know it is just wigan but he played so cool as a lone dm. Yesterday we attacked in a diamond formation in the first half, the forwards wasn't hugging the touchline which made the central passes to be effective. Wolves won't give us such opportunities on Wednesday, but let's see how it will turn out. No matter who plays and the formation, we just need the 3 points, even if it is half a goal, and clean shit is really important now too. The runs in are usually tensed moments bro! |

Nice to Finally see Saka play that Odegaard role.
Kudos to Arteta for trying it out. I’ve always called for it.
Eze seems to be in the mood today. Let’s see how he performs in the premier league going forward. |

mostob: Bro.. I was so angry. He did that rubbish against Forest too. Just chip the ball or dribble. Keeper was already sliding to your left ffs I recall that after that match, Arteta benched his papa the next game. Today, the players let the coach down. Arteta wanted to win by all means. For example, look at Saka when he came on, he could barely trap the ball nor mark his player. Again, its this type of game Merinos' clutch moment would have made all the difference. In our home game against them, he was the one that broke the ice and destroyed them with an assist and a goal. Hervertz presence was also missed in the middle, at least, Eze would have come on in the 80th minute like he normally does and not that stinker that he gave for 45 minutes of which it was what gave Brentford the confidence that they could take a go at us. |

We were rubbish but you see that Martinelli miss? That’s what cost this game. He should be scoring that and not playing it like an amateur.
Na Wetin Dey vex me with Martinelli be this. Letting the team down when it matters the most.
If Eze doesn’t work on himself, he would be sold by next season. It’s that simple.
Saka had zero impact and Madueke should have stayed on. |

Jamiuokolaa: Why una give am that #10 shirt?
There are some Jersey numbers that should be "earned". The Jersey has never carried weight at Arsenal. Even fvcking William Gallas wear the number. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 9:59pm On Feb 12 |
Eze really needs to up his game. This is the same problem I had with Ozil. Lack of energy and Dominance.
You came to a club that handed you the Number 10 shirt, you are supposed to act worthy and prove yourself by becoming the main man.
Also, Calafiori needs to come in asap, we need more penetration and offensive threats.
Madueke has been lively but as usual, without impact.
Let’s see what this second half holds. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 3:01pm On Feb 12 |
We need to win Brentford to unsettle this lousy man city team.
I pray a day never comes where we would miss Merinos' clutch moment and Thank God Trosaard is healthy and not injured as I had feared earlier. |

BlueRayDick: Odegaard can make the pass on his good day. In fact, Odegaard in that same position as Rice will always make the pass because he's an AM who has actually done that several times. I think that match we walloped Chelsea 5-0 he made similar forward pass to Havertz who raced Cucurella to slot the ball home.
I think Odegaard like Saka needs some time off to relax and rejuvenate. As far as I'm concerned, he's still our best player in that AM position until Eze starts imposing himself in matches.
Personally I feel Eze is a good player who excels in a kinda free role type of AM that requires little or no defensive contribution and tracking ball back. However, that playing style has no place in this current Arsenal set-up which is why he has been struggling to impress like we want to see him do. I believe if he's willing , he will put in serious work and will adapt to current Arsenal set up Sha. It's only a matter of time. And that is what I missed the most about Odegaard. The previous Odegaard that gave Hervertz that assist. Baba destroyed Chelsea that day. Just like you said, they need time off to rejuvinate. The problem with Eze is that he lacks the Energy levels required to play at a Club like Arsenal where the standards are quite high. What he needs to do is to hire a personal trainer that would raise his levels, physically and mentally. Gabriel Did it too and now he is like one of the best players in the team. Eze really needs to level up. I recall telling one my guy who was so hyped about Ezes signing that he can't bench Odegaard at least not now. From time to time, I still remind him about our conversation, baba never get come back.. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkforyou(m): 3:22pm On Feb 04 |
BlueRayDick: I think Arteta didn't see the need to bring in Odegaard in the second half having seen that all we needed to see the game off was just to remain defensively compact till the end.
Bringing on Odegaard at that time would've opened us up to attacks cos Odegaard's mind will be fixated on starting attack when we should be defending as a team.
In all, Arteta tried in reading the game really well Sha I dont really think he was in match day line up self. Thats my point. Or did I miss it? Baba no dey bench. Do you think this current Odegaard would be able to execute that assist the way Rice did? I personally dont think so, maybe I am beign biased sha. |

Man ran his lungs out despite the fact that it was the 96th minute. Kudos to Martinelli too. That last minute run took a whole lot from them. By the way, why Odegaard no play today?
