Stability in Nigeria could cause stability across most of west Africa.

A wave of peace in one country could lead to a wave of regional peace which could work against imperial agenda.

Again, I ask you carry out your own research and why they have always been fingered.

Why is Covid-19, a time in which one would expect extremists especially those with suicidal fantasies suddenly a time in which they seek peace?
Let me answer your question from just one pathway because there are hundreds.
Because people are no longer in crowded gatherings where they can have their way.
My relatives live in a village in borno and it is unlike before that I can just ask them to avoid the market in the next 3 days because the genocide might happen, now you bomb a settlement, there's a probability that the bomb might just hit my grandfather's house...
Just saying tho

Farki:
But Boko Haram is also attacking Cameroon, Niger and Chad which are backed by France.

France has also been fighting terrorists in Mali and Bukirna Faso. France themselves have become targets for Islamic terror attacks in recent years so if anyone is sponsoring Boko Haram I doubt its them.

Whoever is proposing such better have good evidence linking the French government to Boko Haram.

If France wanted to take over or destabilise Nigeria they could stage attacks against francophone neighbours while arming and sowing dissent in the South/East to encourage another civil war.

The honest truth is that even without Boko Haram there will still be corruption, looting and poverty in Nigeria. In places not affected by Boko Haram there haven't been many strides in development made I'm afraid our stagnation is of our own doing.
Our government is the reason why Nigeria is still here today, Other countries are busy growing up, not bringing us down, wetin we get? Some Nigerians just always like to blame something or someone for our problem.

rusher14:
You think so but what if I told you Nigeria was on a trajectory for greatness from 1999 and it was becoming quite evident by 2007?

To destabilise the country especially one that had some fracture, all you had to do was widen the chasm.

Imagine the funds we were using to fight a war was being channelled into other aspects of endeavour?

Imagine Nigeria had 10 more years of peace nd unity from 2010 to 2020?

Read up on France's role in all of this.

I'm not saying with certainty this is the case but it does spark some curiosity and coincidence.

Especially now, that a global meltdown is being experienced, why would religious extremists back off when this is actually an opportunity?
What's your point?

Wow! I'd like to say something important please pay attention, BH has been a political terrorism since Adam, yes I've been saying it but I have no proof and I'm not a journalist, but I got a fuss over this recent activities, our government have been nonchalant towards BH regardless of the wrath northerners have been facing, to our surprise Idris Derby decided to once and for all get it over with, BH wasn't really a news in the past weeks not until chad did a good sweep on them... But what's fishy is that, all of a sudden Idris Derby stood down from the fight (Like he has been told not tp meddle in Nigeria's business), then no longer the under equipped soldiers but the chief of army staff himself decided to go sort out the insurgents himself like BH hasn't been there all these while before chad came, only few weeks its in the news that BH want to surrender, just like THAT? Abubakar Shekau himself? Okay not just that, the so called chief of army staff now, according to the news gives an order for Shekau to be brought alive? Is there a reason why we should keep an enemy of the state alive? Except he's working with the government on the insecurity for political issues I don't see why BH leader should be demanded alive by Chief of army staff, let's wait and see if this news is verified and proven by the government that Shekau surrendered, because if he does then BRETHRENS? Boko haram is government and government is boko haram.
PS; Y'all remember years back when US came to Nigeria to fight BH with drones for us? Before the drone got there, no BH member were spotted in sambisa, US left and said someone in the government tipped them off. Moreover the then bornu state governor said US shouldn't help us fight BH that we'll do it ourselves.
Just saying out of Internet information though, no logical fact, just puzzles.

Enough is enough,it is time we start been violet to northern and western Muslim in the south.our peace down here is south south has been taken too far for granted.Afterall in the bible, the likes of Joshua and come fought battles and slain the enemies.our core enemies here are the northern Nigerians. We need to start fighting them here in the south until they all leave here and better still culminate in the separation of this stupid country. I rep south south..if you dont like my submission,go and kill yourself,it is not by force to coexist with people, even lovers separate via divorce not to talk of people of different culture, religious belives and ideology..stupid country my ass
Brother? Religion aside let's talk like free thinkers? Would your suggestion bring a better world or a worst one?
I wonder why the action of a single man will trigger that of thousands all because of believe, I'm a Muslim bro and i stay in port harcourt (south south) though I'm not hausa or yoruba but i have knowledge about everything that's going on now, try not to always comment ignorantly, try reading about all religions and history and watch people's ignorances about everything and that you will know that you can't change their ideas cause it's their perception from childhood.
People say i don't look like a Muslim, i think it's because i don't let my religion define me.

And what's their reason for the thousands of Christians they murdered from 2007-2019? What's their excuse? Oh I remember, boko haram are killing because their leader, terrorist mohammed yusuf was murderd. And so one life of a bloody terrorist is worth thousands of Christian lives right? Another bloody TAQIYYA by islamist terrorist to justify the killing of infidels as they are commanded by their devilish religion.
Even before they murderd 11 Christians on Christmas eve, they killed thousands of Christians in the north. Was the Madala, Niger state Christmas day bombing of a Church in 2012 an act of charity? Right now Boko haram terrorist are targeting commuter vehicles plying North east roads to single out all Christians in them and kill them, while they spare the muslims. A mission they believe will reduce Christian population and advance the cause of islam.
As if we don't know that Christians are number one listed for ''Termination'' by islam.

TAQIYYA (LIES AND DECEPTION = ISLAMIC JIHAD (WAR) AGAINST INFIDELS.
I'm a Muslim, and i support your claim as some "terrorists in islam kill adversaries so that they can become majority" I'm not an extremist as shia muslims so I'm free to think like human.
But PLEASE you don't know what taqiyya means, it'll too cumbersome if i should explain it fully so before you talk about it next time, learn about it so your statements don't end up in paradox just like this one.
Taqiyya in twelver islam (Shia islam) talks about concealing identity of being a shia in front of the majority Sunni islam back in the days if they are about to be killed by Sunni for a reason or be harm for a reason, they can observe taqiyya (Lie or conceal the truth of their shia believe). In our modern days, it has been used by same shia Muslim to carry out terrorist attacks on other religions, if they really want taqiyya, they won't single handedly kill christians, muslims too especially sunni Muslims would be killed because their believe is different from other muslims, moreover taqiyya doesn't mean killing someone, it means lying to, or concealing your identity so you wont be killed, so don't judge the whole religion when you don't know about it, I'm not in anyway accusing shia Muslims as the killers of the eleven christians, I'm only making you understand what taqiyya means because that's what you called this incident which might be false, those killers might just be group of islamic political struggle to demerit a government so whatsoever their secrecy reason may be, if it's not fact please don't mislead the other christians reading your comment.
In as much as i don't like the believe of twelvers islam, i know the christians in this forum won't understand this complexity of islam.
P.S el-zakzaky is a twelver islam, now u can relate his situation with the government.
Thank you.

The government should be your major concern and not an individual.

Before NM broke into limelight, the youths have started doing drugs, fraud, prostitution etc. The system made them this way.

Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Didier Dambrin and the likes didn't wait for a failing government for support, it all depends on the level of knowledge and map of strategy to make it out, don't draft a mediocre idea that's really not new to the system, find a way you don't need approval from anyone to get your bread straight, no be say me i get money or serious knowledge brother, but that's my perception amidst they yahoo yahoo generation.

Nigerian music is more reason why we the youths don't focus our inquisitiveness and interest in innovations that'll develop Nigeria, there are a lot of things we aren't doing that if we did we would have ruled Africa and the world because we are not inclined to understanding complex things (Bottomline is education is key)
Same way Afro-Americans focus on Rap music than knowledge, because we blacks want to make fast money... I could keep writing until i convince a marlian to pick up his pen and paper but what's the point? Half of them will tell me I'll suffer if i depend on education.
