Oyibo too strict for policy. Have u gotten admission cos from ur post it seems u are still waiting for admission letter.

Aiit that settles it . I don't have admission yet I'm waiting for winter though I already met all d requirements for d schools I want to apply just waiting for the Portal to open and I can start application

kelly4top: The Embassy latter contacted me today to come and sign the acount opening form and apologies to me for the previous miss-up and inconveniences. Those German Embassy guys are really very friendly as I have heard.

So is it better to sign before sending to the embassy or wait and do it in their presence

That is it ma'am and even if you see most of the schools for undergraduate is german and also health sciences always has a clause that is they admit a limited number of students and very competitive. U need to have a knowledge of their language somehow

No you won't have to open an account . Its an alternative its either you open a blocked account with 8k Euro or u get a sponsor ..

You can only book an appointment when you av a proof of finacial means, (7908 Euro in a blocked German account or official declearation of sponsorship) a copy of data pag of your international passport, and your addmission letter. And don't forget you are to send it through courier. All the best

The issue now is ive got just my olevels (WAEC) and secondary school Testimonial, does Uni-Assist accept it? Must i notorize them as adviced by forum members? I'l visit some pages here to know how its notorized. Thanks.

you welcome bro . before you proceed on ur application for IT in bremen you have to check for their language instruction most undergraduate courses are taught in German and if you are talking about Bremen (jacobs university) i know has eng taught programs but its a private uni hold ur 20k euro
Otherwise go to daade.de check for a study programme and lang and start from there and yes your WAEC o'levels is accepted in uni assist you can also confirm that on www.daade.de too
the photocopy of ur result is what u take to the notary..

Well I don't know how possible it is for u to be studing for ur Msc along side bachelor if you want to change ur field why don't you make up ur mind on which you want to do first or write a school you are interested in about what u want to do and then you can start from there.
Anyways by Jan 15th will be d deadline for most schools that u can apply for this summer so if u don't apply now u might have to wait till winter because u will need the admission letter to apply for a student Visa which is about 2 months approximately check the recent posts on the thread you can see some related answers to ur Question.

If it takes just three weeks, then it's fine....but if it is more than, then there is problem because for now, i can only apply for one month Turkish visa and if it expires while my passport is still with the german embassy, i will be an illegal resident in Turkey.

Will the embassy hold my passport down before approval or will i be given back my passport immediately after the interview?

The 3 weeks is the time after the interview but also the process of the blocked account also will be some weeks too
And about ur passport I don't know if they re going to hold it or no maybe you will have to wait for those who have actually been through this process u can refer to the beginning of the thread u will get some useful info there that will enlighten you on ur situation

First of all do you have an admission already or u wish to apply as an exchange student . That is the first criteria for ur student visa and if you do then you will need to open a blocked account,Deposit of at leats 8000 euro which u will use ur admission letter to process the account once its opened then you can now book an appointment with the embassy for interview. After the interview I think ull hear from them fter 3-4 weeks or thereabout if ur visa is approved or no.

@ simplyD's post { happy }. We need more of those posts from the experts at least u know what you are up against challenges when you get there which will mAke you blend sharply .. Please more of those about Germany at least this will encourage others Make the thread lively

If I get visa to study in a state bardenwurttemberg for example and I wnt to chnge it to NRW is that possible becuz the sch in brdenwt give their admission very early so I can start applying for Visa on the other hand the sch is NRW is a little bit of late because their admission portal opens when the First closes .
