Bro, this isn't even up for an argument. Algeria has the best military in Africa, especially when all indices are taken into account.

Egypt might have a bigger military, however a large number of their equipment are prone to sanctions.

If I may ask, does the above budget include infrastructure spending?

Of the 39 billion dollars, if 9 billion goes to the military, Education 5 billion and health 3 billion, what percentage is spent on Infrastructure and Social investment programmes?

Well searching in all financial data will be a headhache for me , the Algerian state signed budget for 2021 was around 80 billions ( half for operating expenses budget (39 billions $) and the other half for Equipements budget .

When you see the list of ministry operating exependes budget ( on the pic) you will find a lot of ministry

Justice, Finances. Energy Energy transition and renewable energies, Religious affairs, National Education, Higher education and scientific research. Vocational training and education , Culture and arts, Youth and sports. Digitization and statistics, Post and telecommunications , National solidarity, family, Industry, Mines , Agriculture and rural development ,Housing, town planning and the city, Trade,Communication, Public works , Transport, Water resources ,Tourism, crafts and family work , Health, population and hospital reform , Labor, employment and social security , Environment,Fishing and fish production, Pharmaceutical industry

Each one have its own infrastructure spending and investisments programs . And also have a part in the other 40 billions $ Equipements budget .

its difficult (for me) to find how much each ministry will get or sharing a global Infrastructure and Social investment programmes .

But the important stat is that the defense ministry get the big part of the cake around 25 % of the budgets . Some are unhappy with it and say we should waste less money on military field and more on other sectors , when others will tell you that without defense and security spending we will finish detroyed like libya with no economy at all or budget to spend

Simple logic , Do you know why most armies dont do a lot of live exercises ? It's because of the hudge cost of ammunitions and maintenance. Training cost a lot of money

Do you know how much cost one hour fly of a jet during traning ? How mmuch for exemple cost a 3M-54E Club-S missile fired from a kilo 636 M submarine ( that's 1.2 million dollars per missile) , or a R77 missile ( around 600.000 dollars/ per missile ) , the RBS-15 Mk3 Antiship Missile that you can see fired few seconds from algerian meko A200 exercises that's $3.5 to 4 millions / per missile , ATGM , bombs , rockets, iskander missiles, air defense missiles ect...

all this stuffs you see passing quickly few seconds in algerian exercises videos , Thats tens millions dollars for each exercise . And why do you think algerian army waste so much for each of its exercise ? If its not for better training for its soldiers .

So yes , if You have a soldier in Anti tank squad , on a frigate ,an air defense system for exemple , that do a lot of live fire exercise each year , fire a lot of missiles each year in live exercises , and another that maybe shoot one or two missiles or maybe never fired a missile in all his active service , i will tell you that the first is well better trained .

according to whom? and compared to whom?

There is not many in africa that spend as much as algeria in training and large exercises , did I not share here a lot of algerian exercises each year ? did I not share here algerian navy ships , air force aicraft , army units exercises all around the world in differents countries with different armies ?

.check some algerian exercises , the budget and ammunitions spent in just one of this maneuvers could suffice some armies on the continent for a whole year . And you're telling me that they are poorly trained ?

Quick question, how many percent of Algeria's budget is spent on defense? How many percent of it is recurrent expenditure?

Military budget is Around 10 billions/ per year this last years .

For 2021 the operating budget of the ministries of algeria is around 39 billions $ , only operating budget ( there is another budget for imports )

From this budget , 2021 defense ministry is around 9 billions $ (9.4 billions in many source) around 6.5 % of the GDP , and according to my calculations on the 2021 state budget (on the pic) thats 26.72 % of the budget and its only for the minstry of defense (the army)

The minstry of Interior, local communities and land use planning which includes police services have their own budget . Thats 4.23 billions $

To give you an idea, The first non security ministry in the budget is the Ministry of National Education with only 5,63 billions $ , followed by health ministry with 3 billions $

Dont know from were they got their stats for algeria , because there is no official or even unofficial statistics about the number of test done in algeria . But from a medical point of view its impossible to have 230k test for 202 k positive cases .

Add that the majority of tests are done in private laboratories in algeria, so it's difficult to have real statistics .

but being in the field myself , there is a great lack of testing in Algeria for sure

What is the average point of view of France in your country. Is French history studied in your schools?

to tell you the truth, there is a certain hypocrisy in Algeria concerning this subject, if you ask in the street many will tell you that France is a former colonizer who killed millions of Algerians and stole our land for 132 years,committed the worst atrocities and methods of exterminating in mankind ect.... , in the school we fill the heads of children that France is the enemy, history studies of the war against france occupies 90% of history lessons from primary to high school , we dont study french history or even other countries history they quickly pass on some old civilizations , school history lessons are more like a propaganda than true history lessons , to strengthen the control of the old dinosaurs who rule us since 1962 because they supposedly waged the war of independence. And still have the rhetoric of a former combatant against france to try to have a certain legitimacy.

Our national anthem written during the war of independence mention until now days france by name as an enemy.

but in fact. Now days and since the independency , when you see stats, France is the first economic and commercial partner of Algeria, thousands of Algerians each year emigrate legally and illegally in France and most poeple dream of having residence or citizenship in France, . for exemple 25% of the total of foreign doctors practicing in France are Algerians.

most of the politicians who hypocritically display hatred against France have bank accounts and property in France,they spend their vacation in France. when they are sick they go to take care of themselves in France hospitals (the presidents included , like ex-president bouteflika , he had no confidence in our hospitals , fearing of being assassinated or his medical secrets exposed to public , he had much more confidence in France.

In our daily life , we speak French as a second language. in administration , french is used in the same way as Arabic in official papers even if french is not part of the official languages of algeria .

At university level, the French language is used exclusively in scientific fields and 90% of all studies . All our laws, administrative organization, it's copied paste from French laws .
the largest community of algerians with dual nationality living abroad lives in france. ( 3 to 4 millions people of Algerian origin live in France)

to summarize the closest country to Algeria in terms of economy, culture, population, politics is France. in fact, Algeria is much closer to France than it is to neighboring countries, Arabs or Africans , despite the hypocrisy displayed and empty speech. Maybe a stockholm syndrome

Have found this strange pic of this aw139 SAR too , no other pic of it . After a small search i found that its a helicopter of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) , not the navy or air force , it was sent to the Nigerian navy station for repairs . Abondoned there for 3 years , according to these source .
