Politics / Re: 35 Governors Voted During NGF Election – Fayemi by flexeey: 10:37am On May 27, 2013
karl max: jang whetin 24 hours called for NGF meeting 18 out of the 35 governors presented him to the media as their chairman.fayemi and amechi should do same let us see the so called people that voted for amechi or are they not going to fight for what they believe in instead of writing epistle on the pages of new paper they should call for their own meeting and address the media just like the matured jang did and let the likes of fayemi and those that voted amechi present him to the media instead of them releasing statement.the 18 governors that stood behind jang has made it clear that jang is their leader the ball is now on amechi and his follower court is that to hard to do bunch of cry babies.more over its the 4 day after the election were still expecting their so call video of the election.
its a lie the governor that queued behind jang were not up to 18 as was portrayed by the press cos the governor of ebonyi and enugu state were conspiciously absent. so do your maths.

Mr. Globe:

I hope you are kidding as usual. If we lump all 'meaningful projects' going on in South West, including Fashola's, it won't even match Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers projects, lets not talk of Akpabio or oshiomole here, fool.
do not even mention fashola, he is not akpabio and amaechi mates in good governance
Politics / Re: Massive Construction Going On In Ogun State (Pictures) by flexeey: 2:15pm On Mar 27, 2013
Gbawe.:

No one is denying Akpabio has done well but a sense of perspective is always important. It is not a competition. Because most of us are fairly well-off and have access to the net should not mean we demonstrate open egotism by indulging our own perspective and vaingloriously igroring those who matter like the happy OP and other stakeholders who are happy to be seeing progress after many years of stagnation.

Akpabio would have been Governor for 6 years by June 2013. Amosun 2 years by the same period. Do you feel he will not have achieved same or more, in comparison to Akpabio, in the next 4 years? Let us learn to simply appreciate all administrators doing well instead of reducing everything to a competition when the people who matter most , i.e ordinary Nigerians, don't have the luxury of using any State other than that they live in.
btw AKpabio's federal allocation is more than ogun, oyo and ekiti togeda

Politics / Re: Tinubu Is A Betrayer - Atiku by flexeey: 1:59pm On Mar 26, 2013
dougivilla: B*O*M*B*S*H*E*L*L!
Tinubu betrayed me in 2007 – Atiku. **he supported and funded the campaign of late Yar’adua against his party's candidate.
**count me out of this APC Merger.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has ruled out joining the merger of opposition parties (APC) being clobbered together by Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. He lamented his betrayal by the Asiwaju of Lagos when he flew the Action Congress (AC) flag during the 2007 presidential election. According to the Turaki of Adamawa, Tinubu supported and funded the campaign of late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua while the AC had a presidential candidate.

A similar accusation was leveled against Bola Tinubu and the Executives of ACN in the 2011 Presidential Election, where they abandoned their party's candidate, Nuhu Ribadu to support the PDP candidate.

A source close to Turaki disclosed that he has concluded consultations with segments of the political class in his quest to
actualize his aspiration.
ATIku is d greater betrayer, he is very ungreatful cos tinubu won Lagos and he gannered high votes in other south-western state dan d north.he even loss his own ward in adamawa.

“You know that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is strong willed, democratic and not one to be brushed aside by threat of the
overbearing powers of the incumbency. You can trust him to see the campaign to its logical conclusion once he publicly
declares his ambition.” Our source said.

Political observers are however wondering on the game plan the former Vice President will deploy to achieve his
ambition. They attribute platform as one of the greatest obstacles to his success.

“PDP ticket will be difficult for him to secure considering the unstable nature of the governors. He will be naive to rely on them during the run up to 2015 polls. They disappointed him in 2011 and there is no guarantee they will not do so now. ”

A member of his inner caucus said. He is said to have consulted and secured the support of the northern elders forum in his quest. The problem however is that this same group supported him in 2011 when he squared up against President Goodluck Jonathan and lost!
