Reverend Father Mbaka of the Adoration Ground, the Enugu Reverend Father who prophesied the victory of Muhammadu Buhari before his emergent as the president of Nigeria made a prophecy sometime ago that the beginning of Buhari's administration will witness lot of hardship and sufferings. A prophecy that is already obvious in the eyes of every Nigerian.

Father Ejike Mbaka has reiterated on his earlier prophesy. He clearly stated that the beginning of Muhammadu Buhari’s Government will be difficult. And there will be suffering and crisis but the end it will be joyous and great.

FIFA has named a Senegalese UN diplomat as its first ever female secretary general on Friday, a surprise and historic move announced at a congress to overhaul the scandal-plagued organization.
Fatma Samoura, 54, comes from outside the football world, having worked with the United Nations for 21 years. She is currently based in Nigeria for the UN Development Program.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who announced her appointment during the annual congress in Mexico City, said his future number two was “a great person” with experience managing big organizations, budgets and staff.

“We have to be serious when we say we embrace diversity and we believe in gender equality,” Infantino said.

“She will bring a fresh wind to FIFA, somebody from outside, not somebody from inside, not somebody from the past but somebody new.”

Samoura will take her post by mid-June after undergoing an eligibility check administered by an independent review committee.

“Today is a wonderful day for me, and I am honored to take on the role of FIFA’S secretary general,” Samoura, who has also worked at the World Food Program, said in a statement.

“I also look forward to bringing my experience in governance and compliance to bear on the important reform work that is already underway at FIFA.”

The former secretary general, Jerome Valcke of France, was sacked in January and banned from football for 12 years over misconduct in television deals and World Cup ticket sales — one of the many scandals that hit FIFA.

Germany’s Markus Kattner had been serving as interim secretary general since then.

You always say you fought for the unity of this country during the civil war. You haven’t been to the Niger delta, how can you know what the people are facing I believe your Vice will tell how the region is suffering and under developed when he visited the forcados terminal. That is if he ever looks out of his helicopter window.

3.     Akpo condensate field was awarded to Sapetro Oil owned by Gen Theophilus Y Danjuma. This field worth $100 billions of dollars.

4.     OML 112 and OML 117 were awarded to AMNI International Petroleum Development Company owned by Colonel Sanni Bello. Son inlaw to former Head of State. Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar. Its worth $150 Dollars after tax.

5.     OML 115 also known as Oldwok field and Ebok field was awarded to Alhaji Mohammed Indimi.  Inlaw to former Head of State Gen. Ibrahim Babangida the two fields worth $200 billion Dollars.

6.     OML 215 was awarded and operated by Nor East Petroleum Limited owned by one Alhali Saleh Mohammed Gambo. The field worth $100 billion Dollars after tax.

Six young men accused of being homosexuals have been arrested by the Edo state police command.

According to the Nation, the young men whose names were given as Festus Osagiede (24), Hyacinth Imahanrebhor (20), Itama Omon (25), Onwukwe Prince (28), Monye Chukwuma (23) and Osadebe Kelvin‎ (26), were paraded by the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 5, AIG Musa Daura at the state police command headquarters in Benin city today May 12th.

According to Daura, the suspected homosexuals were arrested in different parts of the state. The AIG said leader of the homosexuals, Festus Osagiede, lured one of the suspects, Itama Omon into the act after attending a night club in 2006.
“After the third suspect (Itama) got drunk, Festus Osagiede invited him to his house and forcefully had carnal knowledge of him. Since then, they have been committing the crime with others at large until May, 2016, when luck ran out of them and they were swooped on by zonal detectives.”he said
All of them are presently being detained by the police and would soon be charged to court.

The sleepy community of Umuajani, Umudioka in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, was thrown into pandemonium after a 60-year-old man, Charles Maduekwe, who had been declared as missing over three weeks ago, was discovered to have been killed by his 22-year-old own son, Emeka, who buried him in a shallow grave at the back of the family compound.

The son-turned-murderer, a self-acclaimed pastor who operates a chapel in his father’s house, allegedly confessed to killing his father the man was in the habit of placing curses on him.

Before the abominable crime was uncovered, Emeka was said to be seen by the villagers as a dutiful son and a respected pastor in the area, but little did the people know that they were habouring a murderous criminal in their midst as he carried on as if he had not done such a dastardly act.

According to eyewitnesses, when the kinsmen asked him the whereabouts of his father after he had not been seen for weeks, he allegedly told them that his father had travelled.

One of the kinsmen said:
“When we asked him again, he said he travelled but when you looked at him, you would know very well that he was lying. His mouth was shaking and he actually betrayed his innocence. 
We moved to his father’s house and there, we saw some fresh sand covered with leaves and we asked him what he did there, he said he dug pit toilet there but his father said he should close it and he did so. 
People became suspicious and we decided to unearth the pit and at a level, confusion came in and many said there was nothing there but one of us said no, we should continue, that he perceived some odour and they continued and in a short time, the foot of the man was seen and the boy wanted to run but the youths stopped him and pounced on him. 
He confessed that he killed his father and put him into the pit; he also said that the pit took him four days to dig and that he killed him because he cursed him.”

The decomposing body of the late Maduekwe was later exhumed and reburied after the people performed some traditional rituals and cleansed the land.

The people could have lynched the suspect but for policemen from a neighbouring community came to his rescue and whisked him away.

Speaking on the incident, a youth in the village said:
“I interviewed the boy myself and recorded it on my phone. I asked him; 'why did you kill your dad? What did he do that you killed him?' He said his father used to curse him. I asked him how long it took him to dig the pit and he said it took him four days.”

The Prime Minister of Great Britain Mr David Cameron has branded Nigeria as “fantastically corrupt” in a conversation with the Queen. He was talking  about the forthcoming anti-corruption summit when he made the comments. Mr Cameron probably did not know that the comments were being recorded.

“We’ve got some leaders of some fantastically corrupt countries coming to Britain… Nigeria and Afghanistan, possibly the two most corrupt countries in the world,” Mr Cameron said.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby intervened to say: “But this particular president is not corrupt… he’s trying very hard,” before Speaker John Bercow said: “They are coming at their own expense, one assumes?”

The government will host world and business leaders at the summit on Thursday in London, aiming to “galvanise a global response to tackle corruption”.

Afghanistan was ranked behind just Somalia and North Korea in Transparency International’s 2015 corruption perception index.

A Zimbabwean father has landed in trouble after he was caught sleeping with his son. According to iMzansi, the man only identified as Mashudu (48) and his son, Zwanga (21) confessed they have been sleeping together since Mashdi’s wife (Zwanga’s mother) passed away in 2013.

Angry villagers demanded that the suspects be chased away from the village. The crowd was actually baying for the blood of the two, they wanted to necklace them. A scared Zwanga however said his father forced him to be intimate and at first he refused but his father threatened him with death. “I did not want to do it but he forced me into it” said Zwanga.

It was gathered that the son has a mental problem and sometimes walks around naked or ‘disappears from the house for days on end.

Confessing to the crime, Mashudu said he was instructed by a sangoma to sleep with his son in order to cure him of his mental state.
“The sangoma said I should sleep with my son and I wanted to see him get better so I obeyed. After his mother died I struggled to control him so I had to do whatever it took to heal him. We tried the prophets but they failed. Then we went to the sangoma. Each time we got intimate, he would actually get better.”
“He was no longer violent” Mashudu said.

Angry villagers had already torched the father and sons’ residence before police arrived and police eventually whisked them away to a safe place.

The shocking act is generating buzz online as many have reportedly said it is another form of child abuse for someone as old as 60-years to marry someone as old enough to be the daughter. Many have condemned it as very improper and should be stopped.

Omawumi has finally opened up on her disastrous interview after appearing as a guest on “Da Chat” with Zinnia, a show produced by HF TV. 

The “If You Ask Me” crooner has revealed that she has forgiven Zinnia for basically putting her morality to question after she had alleged that Omawumi is a smoker.

Omawumi took everyone by surprise when she walked out of the interview set after being asked about the effect of her smoking in public, knowing that she is a role model to many.

The singer who had been visibly upset, had asked the interviewer for proof that she smoked, of which Zinnia could not produce any.

Omawumi has now revealed that although she is upset, she has decided to let the incident go, as she just wants to have fun rather than attend rehearsals.

She made the revelation via her Instagram page, where she shared a video of the cartoon, ‘Frozen’, with the caption:
“Arms open wide like my daughter singing loudly ‘Let it go’ Mood. I’m supposed to rehearse today but I’m thinking of doing something fun.”

Of course, Omawumi would not be the first to walk out of an interview following an upsetting question and many have shown support for her action.

An Abakaliki High Court has sentenced two persons, Onyemachi Oge and Okechukwu Oma, to death by hanging for kidnapping a medical doctor.

They abducted Dr. Chuka Manyike of Paediatrics Department, Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, on May 5th, 2013, at his private hospital at 15, Owerri Street, Abakaliki.

The convicts were charged alongside Chukwuemeka Levi, Idris Oken, Edeke Desmond and Ijeoma Oge for conspiracy and kidnapping.

Manyike’s security guard was shot dead during the kidnapping for attempting to prevent the hoodlums from kidnapping the doctor.

The sum of N3 million was said to have been paid as ransom before the doctor was released after six days in captivity.

According to the charge sheet, Oge and Oma got N200, 000 from the ransom. All the accused were in prison custody since their arrest after the incident.

Delivering judgment on the matter on Friday in Abakaliki, Justice Eze Udu said that the prosecution had proved its case against Oge and Oma beyond reasonable doubt and sentenced them to death by hanging.

Anikwem discharged and acquitted Levi, Oken and Desmond, but ordered that Ijeoma and her husband, who is at large, should be charged for conspiracy and kidnapping “for allowing their house to be used in keeping the victim during the incident”.

Oma, a tailor opposite Manyinke’s hospital, provided information to the kidnappers and gave them directive on how to perfect the act, while Ijeoma Oge supplied beer, biscuits and water to the doctor during his days in captivity.

Reacting to the judgement, counsel to the 3rd, 4th and 5th accused, D.I. Njoku, said that he would appeal the judgement against the 4th accused, who was sentenced to death.

Meanwhile, a High Court sitting in Abakaliki on Friday sentenced a woman, Josephine Onwuzuruike and her boy friend, Ekene Onyeka, to death by hanging for killing her husband.

Josephine and her boy friend Onyeka had in 2008 at Azuiyiokwu, Abakaliki butchered her husband and kept his parts inside a cupboard.

She had accused the husband of attempting to marry another wife by building a separate house other than the one they were living in. She contacted her boyfriend, who joined her to murder the man.

Delivering judgement in the case, the trial judge, Justice Benson Ogbuh, found the accused guilty of the offences of conspiracy and murder and convicted them. He sentenced them to death by hanging.

The News agency of Nigeria reports that after the judgement, Josephine wept uncontrollably and pleaded for leniency because of her children.

Police in Lagos State have arrested a 23-year-old suspected cultist, Idris Adebayo, who confessed to have dropped the head of a rival cult member on the Old Apapa Road, in the Oyingbo area of the state.

Adebayo, who said he put the head in a polythene bag, added that the victim was killed by his gang members and the head dumped by the roadside because he came to visit his girlfriend in their territory.

Adebayo while speaking with PUNCH said his gang leader, identified as Dagbe, had killed the rival member and they dumped his body in a stream on San Siro Street, Otto.

Adebayo added that the head of the deceased was handed over to him in a polythene bag to dispose of.

He said, “We were four that killed the man. Dagbe, Aloma, Kashir and I ambushed him and cut off his head. His offence was that he came to our territory to visit his girlfriend. We thought he had come to spy on us...

A woman has been sentenced to jail for harassing her neighbours with loud noises during sex for two years.

The culprit, Amanda Marie Warfel from Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment charges for shouting racial slurs at her neighbours after they complained about her furniture shaking during “loud” sex in the adjacent unit.

Tanya Saylor, the complainant called the police on March 21 to complain that her neighbour was loudly fornicating and banging around her bedroom such that her own bed shook.

According to usatoday.com report, Saylor told the police that she asked Warfel to pipe down because her teenage daughters had school in the morning.

“They don’t sleep well at night. There’s constantly inappropriate things that go on in her bedroom,” she said.

A 17 year old chap named Agayo Lorzenda is currently cooling off in police custody after murdering his mother in cold blood. Lorzenda shot his mother with a locally made gun after accusing her of using witchcraft to make him impotent.

The unfortunate incident occurred at Tse-Agbaigbe Ikyurav-Tiev 11, in Katsina/Ala Local Government Area, Benue State. The suspect was paraded at the Command Headquarters. State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Paul Yakadi, confirmed the incident.

Speaking to newsmen, Lorzenda said;
“I went to consult the oracle over my impotence and I was told that my mother used my manhood for witchcraft and rendered me impotent. She did not want me to be a man. So my friend advised me to kill her so as to use her blood to acquire spiritual powers that will help me become rich and also do many other things. That was why I shot her".

Hum! Wonders!! So a 17-year-old boy has already known and concluded he can never produce a child even at his tender age. God have mercy.
