This was a question I asked on July 31, and the uninformed answer I received: Hello people, Pls can someone travel with expired TB certificate to UK? The certificate expired due to Lockdown restrictions. Do I have to do a new one? Zoey1: I travelled yesterday to London and the immigration officer never asked me of my expired TB test certificate. So this proves that it is not requested for at the airport. The crowd of arrivals is so much sef that no one has time to ask for mundane requirements. Please always research well before posting answers here as it will mislead people. 1 Like |

I am not really sure that your aunt's name being on the property Inspection report matters as the objective of the report is to state the number of people living in the house in order to meet the space requirements. So I think you should be fine. However you might want to include in your cover letter that your aunty does not live in the house since her name is on the deed. Preferably, it should be written in your uncle's cover letter. As regards exporting call logs that have wiped off, I am not sure about how to go about it however since you have other whatsapp chats, you can print just a few but it should cover different periods. I wasted so much money printing a lot of whatsapp chats and ended up only submitting three pages for 3 different years cos I used the assisted scanning service and they don't want unnecessary documents. However I also submitted emails for different years and Facebook chats too. please remember to download the pictures of the front-page of your hubby's face showing how you saved his name on your whatsapp and other apps too. See pg 463 where I wrote an exhaustive list of all I submitted and apply relevant info to your case. Please label every document well for clarity. Wishing you success. Miele: 1 Like |

Concerning the implication of your aunt’s name on the House documents, that I don’t know but what I know is that it will still be stated on the Property Inspectuon Report as the Professional who conducts the inspection will still carry out an online search of the deed anyways to determine the real owners of the property and will state it on the Property Inspection report as was done in my case. Also even if your aunt was still living in the house, based on space requirements, since it is a 3 bedroom house, you will still qualify living there with your spouse. Remember that the living room is also counted as a full room which makes it 4 bedroom and that can still accommodate more people. So I do not think you should be worried. Your uncle may include it in his letter that your aunt does not live there at the moment and there is more than enough space to accommodate you guys. Anyways the surveyor would have included that in the Property inspection report( ie the number of people living in the house) so you guys will be fine. Miele: |

Hi Lexusgs430, Just wanted to do a quick correction on paying rent to a close family member providing accommodation like parents or uncles. I remember I asked same question before I applied. It is important to know that the UK spouse does not have to pay rent to their uncle, aunt or parents. I applied without my souse paying any rent to her mum. Just like Miele's case, I only submitted letter from my spouse's parent, property inspection report and deed and got the visa without any issues whatsoever. While I understand Lexusgs430 concerns which is good advice, I just want to state that rental payments are not necessary once there is a strong provable bond of kinship. Lexusgs430: |

I wanted to attack you violently on this skinhead issue because that is what stopped me from going to Russia for my masters degree over 14 years ago but you already gave me uppercut when you said that having a problem with the skinheads like dating their girlfriend could lead to them attacking you and I totally agree with you cos I met a Russian halfcast in Dubai whose father is Nigerian and he escaped from Russia to Dubai to complete his Bachellors degree cos the skinheads wanted him dead. He was dating the daughter of their leader in that town. I asked him of the skinhead issue and he showed me several scars on his face and body of how they tortured him and broke his head. I started thanking God that I made the right decision then not to study in Russia. Although I believe at that time that they were targeting black people whether you had any business with them or not because it was a Russian lady that advised me not to go cos she told me that her conscience will judge her if I am killed or maimed in St. Petersburg cos she knows her people. The fact is that the skin heads were wicked to Africans and people who are not Russians before and the government was complacent about it except things have changed now. At that time it was a thing of chance, you may be unlucky to be attacked and may live there and not be attacked. FACT! Although you are trying to change the narrative but I still believe that you need to live there for like 15 years and not suffer any attack before you can be confident that you are safe and from your story you seem to have been there for like 3 years. (Correct me if I am wrong). On the other hand WHY WILL A NIGERIAN GLORY IN LIVING IN ANOTHER MAN’S LAND without “ACTIVELY” developing our own country?? Before you attack me or call me names, my own wife is British but I am heavily invested in Nigeria cos I believe Africa is the NOW and the FUTURE!!! Austeen007: 5 Likes 1 Share |

I just called Ethiopian Airlines after seeing a post from someone saying they are organizing evacuation flights to US on 13th and 21st August. Ethiopian confirmed it is true and said that anyone with UK visa can join too however the price is prohibitive- N654,000 for economy. |

There are many sites for many countries like Nairaland of people with practical experiences. There are also immigration lawyers too online that trash issues like this. Just apply yourself and research then thank me later. Also read carefully the rule as it applies to TB certificate and you will notice it is clearly stated that it must be valid at point of application. Have you read backwards on this page and also noticed that people are not usually asked to present their TB certificate? Even if it has expired, there are machines for TB test at the airport where you will be directed to do it free of charge. It will only delay your entry for some few hours but will never deny you entry chief! Who are the people you know that have issues? Please discuss. Also where in UKVI site did it categorically state that anyone with expired TB certificate will be denied entry? Please discuss "quoting" paragraphs of UKVI site as evidence. Zoey1: |

No, you are absolutely wrong!!! I researched yesterday online about it and found out that the TB test should only be valid at the time of application. You can travel with the expired test result and if they need a new one, there are X-ray machines at the airport where it will be done free of charge. Someone in the UK also verbally confirmed this to me last night too so no qualms. Zoey1: |
