BusinessRe: Help I Need To Open A Verified Paypal Account by flimo(m): 11:39pm On Oct 17, 2010
@ kizini,
I just can imagine how few Nigerians  take pleasure in deceiving people in any way they can. I feel sorry you lost your money but a little bit angry you did not look before you leap! I posted on Nairaland a while ago about openning Paypal in Nigeria- IT IS NOT POSSIBLE! PAYPAL DOES NT OPERATE IN NIGERIA. There are ways to go around it as in every situation but as a poster said, you will end up loosing your balance and like chase for fraud, that's up to you whether you want to tarnish your image, family and country-well, country is already tarnished but just don't add up. Firstly, take a look at detail of the guy who posted a paypal account above, he said that's his paypal account? Right! indeed, I just want to asked the 'gentleman' how come his paypal account is not in a browser but a windows pictures viewerhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh?? I guess its obvious he's a 'gentleman' Please be wise enough that you don't play about with your hard earn money around people especially those evil ones behind PC. While I was in Nigeria, i have had a nasty experience that I reckoned would have ruined my whole life but I came out successfully than those low life be-gutted good for nothing son of poverty stricken parents that duped me all i made in business while I was serving and saving for my journey to further study,  I am better 110% than them now. Lastly, google checkout offers same service paypal renders which is available in Nigeria. If someone wants to help you, you don't need to ring any number or go on a journey,  If its too good to  be true, it usually is! Peace
Foreign AffairsExposed: Government Relationship With 'shady' Private Military Companies by flimo(op): 4:15am On May 06, 2010
I was going through my mails when when this caption attracted me. I wont have being so much interested in the headline until I watch the video that was attached to it, exposing some the UK Trade and Investment Defence and Security Organisation(UKTI DSO) in developing countries including Nigeria and even making fun of people who believe their deceits.
When Heydon Prowse posed as a client, ring them up and ask how they can help him,

Find out what they say, shocking!

Foreign AffairsRe: BNP Leaflet To Black Christian Voters Branded 'obscene' by flimo(m): 3:42am On May 06, 2010
BNP its a cunning party that thinks 11th hour propaganda and silly mails will change people's opinion about its policies. Perhaps nick Grief as I call him has forgot he said is an insult for anyone who call himself 'Black British'. or standing by a white christian leader can convince anyone? Not in a million years.
I believe people without Africa names need answers to how he got the data, which means there data ain't safe with Govt and they should follow a legal proseeding.
Have a look at this racist scumbag party and his leader Dick Griefy

RomanceRe: "whit Woman" by flimo(m): 8:11am On Apr 15, 2010
@travelista, I completely agree with your point of view as black men use such excuse as black ladies are tough and whatever that's why they go for white ladies, its ridiculous as its down to lack of confidence and what to say when they see some of their black mates. I believe its all down to preference at the end of the day. I have experience both worlds and I settle down with the woman I wanted.
There are big black and white ladies, it doesn't make them less pretty than the slim both. I prefer a lady with body since I became an adult, it doesn't mean I haven't date a slim woman or 'hard' enough, its just preference. I know couple of Nigerians who are happily married to white women  for for more than 6-15 years with kids and they are alright same with white men married to Nigeria ladies. Its all about who you're happy with that you go for.
I have a mate who married to white lady that he met through a black lady, what about that?
Black or white ladies can be slag, uneducated or a total pathetic misery cow but same as some men!
IT ABOUT PREFERENCE FAM!

You're right xxcarolxx

Nairaland GeneralRe: Please Help Me Truble by flimo(m): 7:10am On Apr 15, 2010
Do you mean, you haven't got enough confidence when you go out with your mates? Well, we all experience it at some point in life, it don't mean you're awkward or obsolete, it basically means you need some confident to go along with them. I think I have tips that could help
1. Always wear what you're comfortable with no matter what people say about it.
2. When you wake up everyday, look and smile at the person you see in the mirror and appreciation to God for being special.
3. learn to talk to yourself and others
4. When you feel you're not relating the way you wanted, learn to breath, talk-less and smile.
5. Life is beautiful, enjoy your days
What do you think? smiley
AutosHow About Car Insurance? by flimo(op): 6:57am On Apr 15, 2010
Dear Nlanders, I have being reading a lot of posts on auto section and others too but I have yet to find insurance section  shocked
How important is insurance in Nigeria? As I know, most Nigerian adults put their money into buying cars. I guess that worth insure, because as far as I am concern, most car owners in Nigeria don't insure there car unlike in UK where paying insurance is a compulsory thing that you have to put into consideration when buying a car., Unisure car will be taking of you, land a penalty points on your licence and if you don't produce a valid insurance policy within 14 days, your beautiful car will be crushed not minding how expensive it is! Do you thing its too harsh a law? I guess not because it helps if someone damage your car, you are definitely sure that there is going to be a repair or replacement  for it besides, you're at peace of mind in case your car got nicked.
So what do you think? Is it compulsory or not to insure cars? Do you think its necessary to have a section for that on Nairaland?

TravelWhat do you know about studying In Uk?! by flimo(op): 6:29am On Apr 10, 2010
You are an ambitious and career person who will like to take a step further by studying in UK? Congratulation! I wish you all the best and success in your career path. But dont forget to check properly and thoroughly these information before you come
1. If you're an undergraduate students, the fee from £8000
2. cost of living which includes rent, bills, transportation and food on average is £600 per month(or abit less depend on were you're living-wales or scotland)
3. As from 3 March 2010, If you are applying under Tier 4 (General) to study a course that is below degree level and is not a foundation degree, they have reduced the amount of work that you can do during term time to 10 hours per week!
4.Workhuh Work is just anything if you're lucky to get one ranging from,  you know what I mean.
5.If you're studying for post graduate, I guess your fee is is ranging fom 9500 upward.
6. I believe your cost of living is going to be higher than undergraduate as there are more research and finding to be done to achieve your points.

Please dont get me wrong that i'm trying to discourage people to come and  study in UK but all I am trying to say is PLEASE, PLEASE AND PLEASE make sure you are not coming to study here so you can self finance your study by working, Its HARD my brothers and sisters, Its is VERY HARD!
I have been through abit of  it myself despite the fact I have got almost all my family around me and I was able to secure a job just 2weeks after I arrived in UK which was God(I got a job? I became(OYO) on your own, not total though)!
I saw my friends in college and they complained bitterly, some had to end their careers and resulted to alot of disgusting things.
Anyway, I was in some people shoes years ago when I  finished my National service and I was thinking of what next because I couldnt get a job in lagos, my dad gave me a token  to trat my self but I guess I didnt but put the few money into business in Ladipo which makes me feel comfortable at the time cos I was able to get myself a lil run around and i was fine until one day, a call came and the question was'' Do you want me to give you money to continue your business or you want to study abroad'' As anyone in my shoe dreaming of study in '' GREAT BRITAIN' will say YES,  How foolish was that! huh
its was foolish as i realised that despite all the support and effort coming from family i, It was still pretty difficult , what i'm tryig to say is, take away the support from it, Iwill be properly F****D(Excuse my French) smiley
I really feel for these guys when I visit them sometime while we were in Uni, because the state of them are not pleasant at all. I thank God I did my part to help and some are doing great but what about those that arent? cry
Please look before you leap,

PoliticsRe: Nigeria On The Brink Of A Bloody Civil War - UK's Channel 4 Predicts - Video by flimo(m): 5:52am On Apr 04, 2010
I took time to go through all the comments above and i found that everybody has sensible points in the sense that, if we want to look at the point of those who think western world has influence in the situation of the country, by my own personal opinion and based on self funded research, they are right because there is a lot of propaganda and exaggeration whenever there is a problem in Nigeria in western media as if such doesn't happen around them. On the other side, I think as a sovereign state, Nigeria is free from outside pressure and intimidation. to be honest, most of the issues we are experiencing in Nigeria, most of it is down to own leaders. they haven't backbones to stand for what they believe is right-they know what is right but due to hypocritic nature that has been the bed rock of our leaders, they try to please 'BIGGER MEN' rather that standing for what will be benefit the people.
In UK for instance, party policy is to kick every 'non-indigenous British' out of the country if the assume power, I guess the news did sell on Nigeria newspaper or shown on NTA but if it has been the other way round, it will head the line for weeks SKY,BBC,, Nigeria is going through time but so other countries in the world. Crime in western countries is not different from the ones in 'developing countries' so whats the fuss about?
An English friend came from South Africa couple of weeks ago and he was telling me that its terrible out there. I asked what happend and he said they stole he bag in a broad day light, I just smiled and I ASKED him IF such DOES NT happen in London tooWITH CCTV CAMERA AND ALL THAT which is not new to him as well. The truth of the matter is when anything happens in western countries, yeah its acceptable but come to Africa, it become s a world issue because our leaders has exhibit a childish, pitiful, uncapable and greed C***Y attitude towards them. Whites are not our problem in Nigeria but the suck up lil sissy leaders that we have are the problem. If anyone allows himself to be control by others, trust me, they will take FULLY advantage of him.
You guys are wonderful and I believe ONE DAY story go change . Season greeting smiley

I guess you don't need lecture on how to open paypal account mate, all you need to do is copy and and paste this link into browser https://www.paypal.com/uk?sid=Il4WaA
Click on sign up and select your country and language.
As far as I am concern, I didn't see Nigeria in the list but maybe because I was accessing it from UK though.
Guys, be careful with things to do with your personal info.
I hope I have helped. Cheers smiley
