You guys doing btc with your Monzo or other bank accounts please don't come and lament when the banks decides to part ways with you oh.

I think revolut is the only btc friendly bank I am aware of.
Panic not sir

Thing is I have not done any withdrawal. I am just testing it while I am waiting for my Monzo card to be delivered. I selected cash as my withdraw option. To withdraw, after I change currency to GBP, I noticed that the available balance is showing zero when I selected GBP unlike when you select naira and it will show the naira available and you select the amount you want to withdraw.

Please can you explained how you did yours. The process used. Thanks man
Alright
Under fiat market, select GBP

Sell btc for GBP

Head to withdrawal, select fiat u will then see your available currencies for withdrawal( in this case u will see naira and GBP)

Select GBP and setup your receiving account details. END

If i understood you, u thought your available naira will be converted to pounds, I don't think so. It's treated like a coin on binance
Since there is no GBP/NGN ticker, u hv to trade your naira for any assets under the GBP market like btc and and sell the assets for GBP, then withdraw the GBP to your British Bank account

I hope this is helpful

What’s up bro. Sure you doing great. I tried withdrawing pound from binance but it didn’t go through, any idea why it’s showing available balance 0? How did you do yours. You just tried it and it went through or you had to change currency or something. I am yet to get my Monzo card as it’s on the way. But I want to have it all sorted. Any advice please. Thanks in advance.
The 1st time I performed a withdrawal, and I noticed it took a longer time(close to an hr) before I received it in my monzo account, subsequent withdrawals were seemless, if u just performed the transaction just give it sometime, I hope u didn't do big money move?

Thanks for this. The Monzo was person to person I guess right, cos reading the Monzo rules they said they don’t accept any international payment. Sorry to border you on this.

For the laptop, I am new here and won’t want to start thru that root, guess it’s gonna take sometime. I just need like a laptop store where one get some discount and delivery within few days. Hp does 48hrs, while dell is 15days above because they make for you and deliver. Just somewhere with some discount to help man save a little.

Thanks bro
UK O.Gs will suggest better on the laptop purchase issue
About monzo, I am sharing my experience, I have a binance account verified nd registered bk home, when I came here I attempted a withdrawal, it went through, since I hv been using it as a conduit

Hi Guys,

Anyone know any shop that sells laptops with possibly lesser price aside from the manufacturer site (hp, dell). I believe there are some shops with sales and all that. Any one to recommend to buy online. Store with good PCs and no some refurbished stuff. I want to order but dell is doing that their we will build for you, which is nothing less than 15days. Need something to study with while quarantining.

Also I want to know if there is anyone that does crypto here and does the person advice to use a Monzo account?

Thanks in advance.

I bought a laptop on Facebook marketplace, I negotiated online then met the seller for later part of the transaction
I have done transfers from crypto account to my monzo encountered no difficulties.

I use to patronise a lady that prepares peppered snails, one day I saw her whatsapp status crushing day old chicks with her feet, she crushed like 3, so inhumane. I stopped patronising her

Do you believe there are a lot of fake reviews on Amazon ?...

There are companies set up specifically for writing fake reviews and they are making a lot of money (£millions )... so don’t be deceived
If u have ever sold on any platform u will understand to an extent how ratings work
Shops on aliexpress are independent shops that subscribed to sell on the platform, aliexpress has a reputation to protect, ratings are done wen a purchase is completed it is independent of the seller. If u purchase from aliexpress constantly, sometimes u receive a msg from stores not to negatively review them if u have issues, they plead u contact them first, if they can't solve the issue, u can't take it to aliexpress...

A lot of the reviews are fake as well ...one time i was looking at hair and you see the same review on completely different hair. Word for word .....

And then you continue reading and see the real review saying dont be fooled, there are a lot of fake reviews here as the hair was rubbished .
I doubt this, stores can't generate fake reviews on aliexpress

You guys that buy stuff from aliexpress, what's their delivery like? How long does a standard item take to UK?

I rarely buy things from sites that don't offer next day delivery e.g Amazon prime, Argos

I used to think aliexpress were for people buying in bulk to resell
Got when I was in Nigeria though, then it was 10k
Current price
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNiK1nr
Which I think it's still ok
Judging from stuffs I got recently from aliexpress it took 3weeks max to get delivered to me

Going into a rented apartment with kids, is advisable you get a semi furnished apartment. You buy your own Mattress, freezer, sofa, kettle, microwave e.t.c. If any property belonging to the Landlord is damaged, you must pay for it even after you moved out. Mind you, most UK private apartments will want you to vacate the house like the way you met it. I once lived in 1bedroom flat unfurnished, when moving out, the van Removal staff damaged the stair handrail, when doing check out by my Landlord, I lost all deposit of over £1000 because my Landlord wants me to repair the stair handrail, paint the house the way I moved in and do so some other stuff.
Thank you for the heads up

As you are on work visas , I will advise you go for a 2 bedroom if looking long term. Infants - toddlers tend to take up more space with their stuffs and before you know it, house don full.

Again, it's down to personal choice

We are on work visa
Thank you

Make sure it comes furnished.... since you are a student do not touch any flat that comes unfurnished.

2 bed or 1 bed will be a personal choice. .. council tax is exempt for student so the other difference in bills light, gas, electricity might not be so much between the two.
Ma, we are not students
Moreover furnished apartments prices are higher
Most of the furnished one bed comes with a clause "not suitable for children"
Furnished 2 bed flats are costly

The transaction doesn’t make sense from naira to £ that’s an effective rate of 746 naira (15,150/(21.81-1.5) but it will make sense the other way around. Have you tried £ to Naira? Also, how long does the transaction take?
Within 30 mins I was credited
