In that case you should take the 1 bedroom flat ....
Please make sure it’s actually a 1 bedroom not a studio flat cuz these estate agents can fool people sometimes ......
Thank you, do I need to bother about EPC ratings?
Are there pitfalls I should be watchful of?

Good evening Sirs and Mas grin

I'm here again to bother the house

As we are coming out of isolation and our Airbnb apartment will soon expire(24th), there is an urgent need to rent an apartment
Looking for an apartment can be overwhelming
I have been searching for 1 bed flat apartment(family of 3 an infant inclusive).
Average price for a modest 1 bed flat is &£400 and I'm also seeing some 2 bed flats for £450.
Should I go for the 2 bed flat?

Also what should I look out for to avoid stories that touch

Note we are in liverpool, we will prefer houses close to royal liverpool university hospital.
Thanks

You want to avoid moving money from Nigeria to the UK via the financial sector - its a loss.

Adopt a double edge method
Use binance/crypto pairs to move £ to Naira and then do the normal exchange of selling Naira to folks here who need Naira for £.

Ensure you offer something close to black market rate and the differential between binance rate and what you sell to folks here is your profit.

So you may want to start with selling Naira to folks here to get £ then using binance to move the £ to Naira. The difference is your profit.

You may want to have a wider platform and structure your 'business' so you can also assist folks who are in Europe and want Naira for €.

Its all about trying but 3 Naira on 10k transaction is 30K Naira and month endings can net you that 5 folds.

In all TRUST matters.
Thank you for this

That’s 687.75/£
Meaning you are buying £1 at 687.75 which is too high. Higher than black market sef

You are right, like I said its a boredom driven experiment

If my maths is correct, is that not an exchange rate of about N688?

Now ask yourself, is it worth it?

You might not get away with this with high street banks. Any traces of crypto na straight block on your acct

What do u think about 15k to get £21.81? Is it worth it?
Thank you for the heads up
One should have more than one account for different purposes

Hello I tried an experiment this afternoon and here are my findings(wetin boredom dey cause grin)

Note, I'm 12days old in the UK

Title of experiment : Currency conversion
Aim : To convert naira to pounds via cryptocurrency exchange
Procedure:
Monzo account was opened on Saturday (online) I'm still in isolation. Debit card arrived this morning and got activated

Nigeria verified binance account was funded with 15k, since it was an experiment the account was funded trice with 5k each transaction in order to meet the minimum transaction requirements

Btc was purchased with ₦ and exchanged for £

Withdrawal from my binance wallet to Monzo account
Total of £21.81 was received

Major transaction costs
To fund 5k, 150 naira charge, I did that 3 times
(Minimum 150naira max 18million)
Withdrawal charge £1.5

That is it!
Do you think it's worth it?
Started out with 15k, got £21.81
What do you think?

Yeah u can either keep stocks and sell locally on fb or gumtree or do dropshipping without keeping stocks.

However, unlike Nigeria Uk govt take imitations seriously. Infact it’s a criminal offence

Tnx for the insight

It all depends on what you are selling..... if you checked ebay or amazon and seen it higher then that would give you some guidance

Whether the market/ demand will boom for each item then that hard to predict but if you see some items like that on Ebay, you can see how many have been bought to give you some indication.
Tnx

Then there a mistake somewhere.... maybe the Visa officer was sleeping while processing your visa. You need to call , write and sort it out

Or else when it comes to renewal stories that touched can enter. That write up in that letter is definitely not for T2 category
Sorry
I think I supplied incomplete information

When the endorsement on your vignette includes the phrase
Standard(5 year route)
If
Non standard 1 or
Non standard 2 (10 year route)

our vignettes contains neither phrases
Is there a special way to check the route one is?

What visa is your spouse on.... any of your child a british citizen?. This document doesnt look like you were given Tier 2 .

Paragraph Gen.3.1: and 3.2 is used when a British citizen spouse cannot meet the financial requirements for Appendix FM. ...but in the interest of a British child it is granted and put on a 10 years path
We are all Nigerians
My spouse is on Tier 2
My son and I are on T2 dependent visas

Good afternoon @ everyone

I use to think T2 visas are on a 5 year route to settlement.
When we (family) got our visas it was written on the accompanying doc that we are on a 10 year route to settlement
Is it new? Or I have been thinking amiss

How do one change to 5 year route

Phones / Re: Poco X3 Vs Pixel 4a by flinton(m): 8:38pm On Oct 30, 2020
Unbiased1:

Terrible hardware compared to other devices of same price tag. You can't compare the hardware features of a google phone to the likes of Samsung, LG, Huawei, Xiaomi etc of same price tag. I've compared all the pixel phones ever produced to their counterparts from other brands produced the same year and the only thing place where google phones tend to match up is the Camera aspect. Even talking about camera, Google pixel phones don't shot the best videos either in 4k or 1080 formats. Newer Huawei phones of 2020 will obliterate any Google phone ever produced in low light shots and zoom tests, google also tend to underclock the processors that come in some of their phones making their phones lose out in speed tests when compared to other devices like OnePlus, Huawei etc.
Check out the new stupid pixel 5 with the price tag of a flagship device and the hardware of a midrange device I can't spend 699 dollars on a Pixel 5 when we still have OnePlus and Xiaomi devices in the market that will give me a bigger processor, bigger screen, bigger battery, better camera hardware with larger microns (all thanks to the new pixel binding technology), fast charging speeds and a much better premium feel.
Go and sit down
You can only compare pixels with iPhones not these Chinese craps

You must have your passport, vaccination card, PCR certificate(covid19 test) test must be done within 72hours to travel time and be prepared to pay $150 on arrival at kotoka intl airport for another covid19 test. If the test shows negative, you will be allowed to go to your destination, if positive you go to isolation center.
Thank you I'm grateful

Hi guys,
since moneyfex went offline for maintenance, what have you guys been using to send funds to Nigeria please. @justwise @lexusg430??
Small suggestion
Buy btc with £
Sell it for ₦
Withdraw your ₦ into a Nigerian account
Exchange rate well above ₦550 per 1£

You can do this on any cryptocurrency exchange like binance

I am interested in this also as i am in the same situation. My guess is that since the kid's visa is dependent on mine which has validity already, there shouldn't be much problem. Probably at the discretion of Officers at POE

Good morning everyone
Pls is it possible to travel to UK one week before the validity of my visa? What can I do to travel earlier.
My daughter's visa is valid from 11th of Nov, mine is valid from September, she's the reason I have not travelled yet. Pls help
Thank u.
It defeats the essence of the validity period if we can leave before the validity period
My main concern is that this crisis should not linger and I think that should be our prayers not just for safe travelling but also for sake of ones we will leave behind

How did you pay for the flight? Bank card or through agent?
I recently paid with access bank dollar debit card, after several attempts to pay with different naira debit cards.

I observed one thing, I held my Turkish Airlines booking with 40usd and I paid with my naira debit card but couldn't pay for the flight tickets with the same card
