I recently paid with access bank dollar debit card, after several attempts to pay with different naira debit cards.

I observed one thing, I held my Turkish Airlines booking with 40usd and I paid with my naira debit card but couldn't pay for the flight tickets with the same card

I need advice, I think it will be given better by those that stay in the uk
We will be relocating to the UK, Liverpool to be precise(tier 2 visa) we are a family of 3
With respect to clothing, food, accommodation and flight

My wife wants to bring along some foodstuffs, please what kind of foodstuffs are permissible?

We intend to buy just one jacket per person till we get to the UK, is this decision okay?

The organisation is not providing us any accommodation and we need a place for isolation. Please what are the best options with regards to cost

We are planning on booking Turkish Airlines, good decision?

I got a mail from Tls today to pick up my passport. Biometrics was on 16th September at tls Victoria Island. Tier 2.

Hoping for the best.

I had mine on the 16th of September at Victoria Island. No decision or Not straightforward mail yet. Tomorrow will make it 15 workings. If I don't get any notification this week, I will make an inquiry from UKVI on Monday.

I read here on this thread, some people who did biometric in Lagos 15 September received collection email on Friday 02 October

I recalled while I was attended to, the staff who was handling mine cautioned her fellow staff to desist from telling applicants 15 working days, rather she should tell them when decisions are made they will be notified

Im guessing the plane didn’t arrive with only the 4 people! So the rest that was permitted entry! What did they do? This only means you need to call your hotel before leaving! And uk needs to do something about the quarantine for people from Nigeria! Our covid numbers has reduced alot!

The people that were reissued unused visa due to covid,what should be their fate now with their fresh plans to travel? Common! Uk needs to do something!

Families are encouraged to use Flexi appointment. I have tried the option but no date. What will happen if we all choose premium lounge with the same time? This option is available for Friday but not same with Flexi till maybe late December. Positive suggestion will do.

please MOD kindly read @justwise @Giselle237. On this thread there is alot of flights and ticketing discussions, even someone trying to sell a ticket on a thread that is meant to be for UK visa enquiries. Can a different thread be created for flights and ticketing, just so people with concerns around this subject can go on there. Also, after people get their visas on this thread then they can transition into the flight and ticketing thread as that would be the next step for them.

When people like myself (trying to make a visa application) come on this thread and its saturated with topics not related to UK visas it can become really annoying.

The situation is really strange at that Abuja TLS, I am yet to see anybody that did with me on the 18th that has gotten a decision. It seems they are having technical issues as some people who did on the 16th were called back to start fresh applications with new visa fees. Though they were advised to request for refunds for the fees paid in the old application.

My appointment is tomorrow, I will enquire about the situation, there maybe answers
