Please house I need an urgent response to this. I want to apply for a tourist visa for myself and my youngest child (2yrs). Do i need to pay for his visa too or will mine cover his?

Kaampe7

You need to pay your child and yourself even if the child is 1 day old.

Hello house, could you please help me out with my budget for my uk visa. I earn 259k each month and spend 40k as expenses every month. Please what reasonable budget can I present for a 6 days visit to the Uk. Pls put hotel Hotel reservation into consideration and this is my first application. Abeg help a brother. I am confuse

Your monthly salary is about 518 pounds as at today.

Except for the effect of Covid-19 14 days quarantine, you could plan a 2 week tourism with GBP1k budget. However, this is almost double your monthly salary and it is a risk factor. If you have someone that can invite you so you don't have to pay for accommodation, your budget can come down to about 700 Pounds.

If no one is inviting you, i'd suggest you find an affordable hostel in/or outside London. Keeping your budget low but reasonable will be helpful.

Hello everyone!
I just want to find out if DMC now sends refusal emails to every unsuccessful applicant or just some handpicked ones. My friend received a refusal email from DMC last week and then an email from TSL asking him to come to collect his passport. But, this afternoon, I only received a mail from TSL informing me that my passport is ready for collection (I didn't receive a refusal email prior to that). Does this indicate a success?
BIOMETRICS DATE: 15 SEPT

Have you gotten your passport? What's the outcome??

Hello, old can I get guidelines on how to apply for a refund of my assisted service that I didn't make use of.
I had an appointment for the 29 of September and paid for assisted service. Fortunately I got another closer date on 21 of September and did self service.
How do I go about getting a refund for the assisted service not used. Thanks great minds.

I got a refund for the Assisted Service I paid for in February. After the lockdown when I was rescheduling my appointment I was asked to pay another N11, 700 again for assisted service. So after I had my biometrics in August I filled a form on their website. I forgot where I clicked but I got a place where it says REQUEST A REFUND so I filled that form and REBATE FORM was sent to me afterwards and I filled it as outlined. After 2weeks I reminded them and my account was credited. Go to CONTACT US you will see REQUEST A REFUND there.

nothing really, I initially applied for an Euss family permit, so I didnt experience any problem at all , they will just ask for locator form and passport, then they stamp you in.

I have no idea about uni but if i may advice....

i Believe the tier 4 student thread would be the best place for this question... you have alot of students there, and similar questions like yours has been asked repeatedly on that thread. Also, try using google. I found my college which was very affordable for me via google, because one thing to consider is your definition of affordability might not be someone else's. Go get ur hands dirty with google u shud find something.

Thanks alot for your suggestions. I am having a rethink of it reasonable to stay on UK for 6 days cos I'm expected self isolate for the 6 days. I think the purpose of my visit is defeated if I can't go out during my stay. Pls do you know anyone who got a uk visit visa while staying for less than 14 days ?

.

I’ve seen few people here who have applied and gotten their visas approved recently declaring only the number of days they intend to use, excluding the 14 days... Can anyone double confirm this?

You’re to figure your way around the 14 days after visa,to spend the whole days in hotel or wait till quarantine rule changes! It doesn’t stop visa processing!

I think it’d make sense to only declare the number of days you plan to spend because who knows what would be the rule for the port of entry by the time you want to travel?

Your Statement is not clear.... If you said the wife Visa is not ready.... and you went further to say ....The wife was denied entry to UK... can you please clear this.

blessedgeorgeus

The wife got a visa in 2018 and was denied entry. Now she applied along with her hubby. She picked up her visa today. Both the husband and wife applied on September 15th. Hubby got his on Monday, wife just got her visa today. It's a good news!
