Monopoly kills the economy of any nation.. no matter the genius you put at the helm of affairs, once monopoly is allowed to thrive, the economy is bound to colapse. Healthy competition on the other hand grows the economy, create employment, promote standards, provide varieties for consumers, etc. The best model to grow any economy is by "healthy competition" not by creating monopolists masquerading as businessmen, richest black man and whathaveyou. |
That her friend must be a female cultist.. the tribal mark no be here. |
Yeah, it's safe to an extent.. still, the road needs more work on some sections especially the Zuba route. If you go through Bwari, you won't have much issues but the trailers on that Zuba route plus gridlock can make you cry. |
This is wrong.. the minimum wage is 70k while price of the Nigerian passport is now 100k. That amount would have been justifiable had it been minimum wage was around 150k, not the current 70k they are yet to even implement. You people should fear God o.. |
Pure lies... Victor Banjo was killed by the cowar.ds he fought on their side out of envy and jealousy for the brilliant Yoruba Military Officer. Imagine leading the only Military advance for defunct biafra only to be killed later by lily-livered rag tag biafr.a soldiers at the firing squad because they envied his success at the war front. Victor Banjo on seeing the terrible treatment the biafran troops meted out on the Mid-West people, raping their women and killing innocent people had every right to oppose their advance into South West (his home region). Imagine it for a bit, Igbos were being massacred across the North but Igbos never faced North, never fired a single bullet in the entire Northern region, instead they marched into Mid-West, heading for South-West to annex Yoruba territory. One can even deduce that Igbos have always been afraid of the North. I'm sure Victor Banjo connected the dots before his sad demise and saw the sinister agenda behind Ojukwu and his Igbo people's plot. |
It's sad how we lack maintenance culture in Nigeria.. the signs have been there all along but the management of NRC decided not to act. When last did NRC run maintenance checks and repairs on the rail track from Abuja - Kaduna? Your guess is as good as mine. What the White man will see and correct to prevent accidents, the typical black man will see, neglect and then blame the accidents from their carelessness on the devil. |
Propaganda and lies against PBAT can't sell.. incase you don't know, Northern Nigeria is set to experience massive economic bo0m under this present Government (credit also to previous Buhari administration) with the Ajaokuta - Kaduna - Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline set for completion by November this year, 'ceteris paribus'.. also, the Abuja - Kaduna - Kano metro train is set for completion. Northern Nigeria is about to change.. thanks to the APC Government. You can take this to the bank.. Atiku will lose his State Adamawa to PBAT, same with El-rufai. |
OneCandleAway:Initially, it might look stressful for newbies.. but for those that are already used to it, I don't think it can be as stressful. From Kaduna, I go as far as Zaria, Kano, Katsina (North West), though occasionally, but I can't say it's that stressful. Some people will definitely endure. |
I honestly don't like how the FG is allowing airlines reap Nigerians off their hard earned money.. Airfare from Abuja to Lagos shouldn't be more than 60 - 80k (considering current realities on ground). How will you place over 400k on flight within Nigeria?. Trip of about 1h15m, how??. PBAT should look into cross-border marshals just like the FRSC that'll be on constant patrol with strategic stations on all our highways to make our highways more secured for travellers, pending when speed trains across Nigeria will become fully operational. This absurdity with airline travel can't continue, it's a dangerous economic trend that shouldn't be allowed to stand. Will Airpeace for instance enter UK and US avaition market and be placing unreasonable prices on airfares to Nigeria without facing sanctions from the Government of those countries?. Definitely not. Soon airfare from Lagos to Abuja will be higher than airfare from Accra, Ghana to London (that's if it hasn't happened already). |
OneCandleAway:I've seen cases like that (but not sure if it's everyday they go to work), especially those who have their personal house in Kaduna, they either travel by road or join the train Sunday evenings and return to Kaduna Friday evening. |
Nigeria rebuilt the South East.. Igbos didn't pluck money from trees to start rising from the ashes. Infact, Igbos destroyed more than they built themselves. Take for instance, the Niger Bridge destroyed by Igbos during the biafra war to prevent Federal troops from advancing.. did Igbos contribute any dime to build link bridges after the war?. Absolutely not, it was still FG projects that opened the SE region for inter-state travel and business, SE still gets monthly allocations like every other region from FG's purse. The younger generation of Igbos must unlearn the falsehoods fed to them by their parents.. South East is standing today because of Yakubu Gowon's magnanimity in declaring "no victor, no vanquished" after the war, which gave Nigerians from all walks of life the free spirit to take back Igbo people and help them grow by means of sponsorships, grants, filling them into boards of Agencies and all sorts of entitlement reserved for Nigerians. In summary, Igbos didn't face any form of discrimination from other Nigerians (something very rare) after the war ended. All those nincompoops propagating £20 policy nonsense are those who do not wish the Igbos well. How many Nigerians had £20 as life savings at that time? something Gowon's government with help of Awolowo gave to every Igbo person to rebuild their lives (don't forget Igbos took out all their savings and gave to Ojukwu in exchange for worthless biafra pounds that had no legal backing or value). So you can't blame anybody for your misadventures. |
I don't think PBAT will agree to change the winning ticket.. any Northerner in APC advising him to change VP Shettima is no doubt working for ADC. Christians in Nigeria are not complaining because our amiable President has shown fairness to all and most importantly, the capacity to lead. |
Kaduna has always been a political powerhouse for Northern Nigeria.. the presence of many State owned institutions, military formations etc. gives credence to that fact. Kaduna is a place where you can live and be working in neighboring Cities like Abuja, Kano.. as far as you can time yourself well. The Kaduna to Zaria to Kano expressway stretching after the Kawo bridge is really a gamechanger. This is what we want for every part of Nigeria, development and economic progress not terrorism or religious fanatism. |
That Wunmi's hand is not clean in the late singer Mohbad's death.. I saw a video clip where an alleged bestie to Mohbad claimed Wunmi asked her to lie against NDLEA that she saw NDLEA officials giving Mohbad poison to drink when infact the only thing Mohbad drank was table water which she (the alleged bestie) drank as well. The authorities should not allow that young man die in vain.. something is seriously wrong and this revelation from Marley adds a whole new twist to what is already on ground. |
Let me take time to educate this ignorant so called Yoruba leader.. The Igbos have an agenda to usurp the traditional and political structures in Yorubaland, it didn't start today.. even Nnamdi Azikiwe tried to become Premier over Yorubas in the Western region but failed.. the lands they are buying is for them to form colonies across Yorubaland before they'll reveal their next plan. The Yorubas have clean mind towards others.. We saw how Igbos were taking up Federal slots meant for Lagos (a Yoruba State) during Goodluck Jonathan's tenure.. compare to PBAT's tenure, have you seen any Yoruba person taking up slots meant for Anambra, Enugu or Imo at Federal? the answer is NONE simply because Yorubas do not desire to cheat other tribes. What those Igbos are doing will backfire sooner or later.. I won't say more than that. Yorubas will say 'agboju l'ogun fi ara re fun osi ta' talk more of agbojulogun ologun. |
This is no news.. The illegal mining cartels run by foreigners in Nigeria in connivance with some Nigerians are the source of funding for terrorism and banditry plaguing the country. Let Immigration sit up and start going after those foreigners and fake NGOs operating in those hotbed areas and see if banditry won't reduce drastically. |
PBAT needs to return Nigeria's public service back to how it used to be in our early days.. most of the Government appointees nowadays take public servants for granted which is very wrong... There are jobs clearly set aside for civil servants (for sake of continuity) and there are jobs spelt out for politicians, SAs, SSAs and the likes but nowadays you see people doing jobs they ought not to be doing because they are SAs, SSAs and whathaveyou.. Don't be surprised that one politician turned down the memo by public servants to attend the Japan event, thinking it's a waste of funds.. but they can be dashing players 100,000 dollars each for winning trophies which ordinarily is their duty as the country's representatives. |
Someone should tell Chima that Lagos is not part of Igboland.. I won't say more than that. |
Yorubas should start building Ifa temples across Igboland, just like Igbos are building all sorts of worship centres in South West. Ler's see if they'd have the balls to be verbally attacking Ifa priests of Imo, Anambra and likes in the way and mannner they are doing to Yoruba churches. |
Believe this bullc.rap and you'd believe anything. They were all buying votes.. na who pay pass Kaduna voters dey vote for. |
Nigerians have rejected the much hyped coalition.. 'emilokan' till 2031. |
The Elder said the truth and nothing but the truth.. what majority of the Igbos don't know which I will reveal here today is that most Yorubas you see like this Elder (myself inclusive) that speak this way desire only the best for them, just that we prefer to speak our mind in a blunt manner. The others like Dele Farotimi and those ones in Afenifere are just deceitful people and I can't take them seriously. It is wrong before God and man for an Igbo person to be claiming Lagos as place of origin.. you should be proud of your place of origin. Most Yorubas don't even claim Lagos as State of Origin talk more of non-Yoruba and non-Westerner. That territorial agenda will keep getting you people in troub.le and that is the pure truth. For God sake, think home, go home and develop your ancestral region.. why that advise come off as death sentence to the average Igbo person is what I'm yet to figure out. Lagos is 100% Yorubaland...infact Yoruba territory extends beyond the 6 SW States into North Central (Kwara and Kogi) and some West African countries. Lagos by virtue of it"s positioning is well secured territory for Yorubas and is covered by Yoruba States like cherubs cover God's throne. |
Akpabio is miles ahead of Obi when it comes to leadership.. met his State in a mess and did all he could to transform the place, built roads, schools, ultra-modern facilities etc. whereas the other one from Agulu built nothing. |
This is really commendable.. every South West State should witness progress not that revenues generated from the region will.be shared to unproductive regions to be lavished and embezzled by their useless incompetent Governors. Nigeria can't work with such model, SW should utilize most of her revenues for development.. other parasitic regions that do sit at homes should think outside the box for funding to run their States. Kudos to Ogun State. |
Atiku won't support GEJ simply because he (Atiku) wants to become President.. the dicey thing now is for Obi supporters to choose who they'll support among the contestants in 2027. PBAT = Assured Atiku = Highly possible GEJ = Likely possible Obi = ? |
Ibadanfarmroad:Soon they'll claim Hausas wear British hand-woven caps, something we all know isn't true. Any cap style you see British wearing, they picked from Africa, especially Nigeria (infact Yorubaland to narrow it down). I don't know how Igbos managed to pick British head-warmer as their own native cap. |
Establish more of skills acquisition centres across the country.. all the FG-owned Industrial development centres (IDC) rotting away in the 36 States can be transformed into modernized learning and skils acquisition centres for youths. This will reduce unemployment rate among the youths and help build skillful & employable youth population. Establishing Universities here and there won't solve anything.. politicians should go outside and see the swarm of youths in Nigeria job hunting. It's usually a heart-wrenching sight most times. Education should be balanced.. formal and skills acquisition. |
This makes my earlier post about Sowore's origin correct.. he is from "Apoi" clan and they speak different dialect from the Ijaws. Infact Ijaws don't consider Sowore's clan as part of them, but again, the history is deep-rooted. Sowore should do us a favour and stop taking sides with outsiders on matters relating to Yorubas and Lagos.. we don't want aliens on our lands getting false hope w.r.t their expansionist agenda. |
