PoliticsRe: Change Of Lagos Street Names: Is Lagos Playing With The Tail Of A Tiger by flokii: 10:46pm On Jul 27, 2025
Wait till they do massive retren.chment of non-Yorubas working in Lagos State service including schools, then cry us a lagoon..
It's like you don't know the meaning of "O to ge", our people are saying enough is enough.

Nigeria can't be robbing South West to pay South East and Igbos will still be migrating to South West to shortchange Yorubas of the meagre resources allocated to the region (despite generating the highest revenue for FG).
PoliticsRe: Sometimes It's Not Igbophobia But Igbofolly by flokii:
You want them to return home and invest but same you will be the one drumming support for IPOB, ESN and whatnot to continue terrorizing Igbos in their region..

First start by asking your leaders to create business-friendly environment for the Easterners who love doing business to thrive at home. you need good roads, water and electricity supply, inland dry ports etc.

Then you make efforts to keep your enclave safe and secure from terror groups. Stop the practice of covering up crimes because your brothers and sisters are the ones commiting them. The ugly outcome of crime won't differentiate Igbos from others that'll be at the receiving end. I'm sure over 80% of fak.e drugs and coun.terfeit products are right there in South East markets.

Lastly, consider our acts as a goodwill to make your folks look towards home, think home and go home. It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
PoliticsRe: "48 Laws Of Power" Which One(s) Are Your Favourite Quote(s) by flokii: 6:43pm On Jul 27, 2025
Law 1: Never outshine the master until you become a master.

Law 35: Master the act of timing and use time to your advantage.
PoliticsRe: “dear Nigeria, Tribalism Is Not A Personality Trait” by flokii: 6:27pm On Jul 27, 2025
Tell that to the Marines..
It's standard practice everywhere for ethnic groups or nations to review their policy and approach of accommodating aliens in their space. When the invaders start going beyond their boundaries, disrespecting their host, then you move to checkmate them just like President Trump is doing in the United States.
PoliticsRe: Sowore Condemns ‘Xenophobia, Ethnic-Baiting’ In Lagos Over Charly Boy Bus Stop… by flokii: 6:19pm On Jul 27, 2025
Sowore is not a Yoruba man, so he can choose to be insensitive on the Lagos matter.. all these while, I thought he was Ijaw from Ondo only to get informed of recent by an Ijaw lady from Ondo that Sowore is not Ijaw.. I've forgotten the name of the tribe he hails from.

Going forward, Yorubas MUST and WILL take charge of everything that concerns Yorubaland. We must educate other Yorubas on the need for our people to embrace conservative measures to protect our ancestral lands, heritage and culture from those pushing their hidden agenda of ethnic domination over Yorubas on Yoruba own soil.

Like Mr. Bayo Onanuga rightly said.. Yorubas must change our approach going forward to pass clear message to those who pose existential threat to our race to back off.
PoliticsRe: Falana Condemns Arbitrary Renaming Of Streets, Bus Stops In Lagos by flokii: 5:51pm On Jul 27, 2025
The name change of those Streets in Lagos iis 100% constitutional.. Falana should park one side.
The LGAs and LCDAs have statutory rights to rename anything and everything in their domain.

Why didn't Falana condemn Anambra State Govt. over renaming of Abakaliki Street to Club Street to erase anything Ebonyi from Anambra State?. It's only South West own they see, senile betrayers of Yoruba race.
PoliticsRe: ADC Spokesman: Why No Governor Is Willing To Join Our Coalition by flokii: 10:51am On Jul 27, 2025
Politics isn't played that way.. you packed a group of political retirees to a party and termed it "coalition" to remove an active politician.
That's complete waste of time and I'm sure not a single Governor among the 36 we have in Nigeria will dream of joining such a movement. Past should stay in the past abeg.
TravelRe: American Airlines Jet Catches Fire In Denver Airport, Passengers Evacuated (Pix) by flokii: 10:45am On Jul 27, 2025
What is happening to America's aviation sector of late?.. too may records of frightening events in that country.
I think Nigerian Govt. should send some of our trained aviation personnel to the US for assistance. They should not feel too big to ask for help.
PoliticsRe: HAUSA NATION REJECTS BILL TO ELEVATE ONLY FULANI & YORUBA TRADITIONAL RULERS by flokii:
If that is the case, the Ooni of Ife should be the permanent chairman.. he is the real traditional ruler between the duo.
The Fulanis through their jihad conquest did Hausas dirty.. they schemed Hausas out from anything power in the North down to traditional titles.

This is why every well-meaning Nigerian must condemn the proposed bill by some Igbo lawmakers to grant settlers indigeneship status. That is a nuclear disaster waiting to happen.
May Nigeria never experience another civil war over insensitivity of some gree.dy minority to take what belongs to others for themselves.

The mistake that led to Rwanda genocide and other notable conflicts around the world must not be allowed in Nigeria.. boundaries must be respected with each and every tribe having mutual respect for one another.

This is just too petty. We can't be complaining of others ding something and still be mastering it
You are wrong here.. there is nothing petty in demanding for a change in a certain pattern that puts you and your people at a disadvantage.
Like the OP rightly said.. Igbos will never allow a Yoruba be VC of Federal University in South East (they'll cry and wail about marginalization of their people in their ancestral land), not to talk of employing 98% of Yoruba to be staff members in the institution in South East.

You sef check am na.. does it make sense?.
What they can't tolerate, they are doing to others.. can they go to Sokoto or Kano to try such nonsense? the answer is NO, so that nons.ense MUST stop in Yorubaland as well.

PoliticsRe: The Fear Is Real — Why The Atiku–obi Combo Terrifies The APC by flokii: 1:16pm On Jul 26, 2025
The fear should be in Atiku's camp.. reason being that if peradventure that combo wins (just an assumption cos they can't and won't win), it's either Atiku surrenders his role to Obi or Obi's people will plan coup to oust him and takeover.
Atiku should not underestimate the SEners.. erin won o de nu.
PoliticsRe: The Foolishness Of Liberalism by flokii: 1:04pm On Jul 26, 2025
We need more of this please.. our people need to wake up.
The Igbos utilize every opportunity they get at Federal to not only marginalize Yorubas but also to disenfranchise our people from their own rightful positions..

This is not trib.alism but a sincere plea and wake up call to Yorubas who have been in deep slumber for far too long.

Yorubas have been sidelined and marginalized for so long in Nigeria, if we will allow such injustice to continue is left to us.

#Yoruba ronu..

Before anyone will ask you for something, check to see if that person will give you same thing in his/her domain. It's law of reciprocity that must be obeyed.

PhonesRe: Tecno Taking The Fight To Samsung... by flokii: 5:26am On Jul 26, 2025
Sammy is relying on its already established brand name to sell at high prices, same for Apple with Iphones.
Transsion on the other hand are making phones that the masses (or let's say middle class) can afford.

The cost of screen replacement for some samsung phones can buy one (if not two) of those mid-range smartphones.
PoliticsRe: Bariga LCDA Names Roads, Bus-Stops After 9ice, Olamide, Saka, Tony Tetuila by flokii: 5:09am On Jul 26, 2025
Ttalk:
Yes they are delivering laudable project, a local government just commissioned school in Lagos, tell us what your leaders are doing for your people
We warned them severally to face their home region and develop the place, they called us names.
Now that Yorubas have finally decided to "ronu", let's see how they will boast about buying up lands in South West or call Lagos no man's land.
Most Yorubas I know (myself inclusive) don't make such annoying assertions about Lagos, even though it's our home, in our home region, we still recognize the makeup of the State. It's time for Yorubas from all over to protect all Yoruba territories including Lagos State to avoid stories that touch later.

Nnamdi Azikiwe tried to separate Lagos from South West but failed, Ojukwu tried same thing from the letter he wrote to Victor Banjo describing Lagos as a colony that will be under Igbo administration once they invade South West region.
Most people don't know that the greed of Ojukwu to annex lands in South West was what fueled the civil war and got Yorubas angry, they are towing same path today thinking Yorubas can't send them pack.ing.

Nobody cares.. take your unity begging elsewhere.
Yorubaland most especially Lagos (ilu Eko) belongs to Yorubas 100% and we will take charge of our own internal affairs going forward.

You can imagine.. yet the failed Governor of Anambra who is nothing short of a mediocre is the person some deluded ones want to sell as messiah for the giant of Africa.
PoliticsRe: Governor Sanwo-Olu Commissions School Built By LG Chairman In Bariga (Pictures) by flokii: 10:55pm On Jul 25, 2025
You'll never hear or see any news like this coming from South East.. I honestly wonder why.
Yet, na them badmouth Lagos and Yorubaland pass.

helinues:
Bro, we are just assuming here that Atiku is out, so between Amaechi and Peter Obi, who will win ADC primary
Amaechi will win Obi hands down.. the clowns in the ADC party view Obi as the reason for their defeat in 2023, even though they are hiding it, deceiving naive ones with PDA.

Again, Atiku is the point one in that coalition.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Approved $3billion For South East Rail Line -Deputy Speaker by flokii: 9:40pm On Jul 25, 2025
youngsahito:
Ibos won't appreciate this little gift from the president. The governors in your region never dream about railway construction.
I have said it here before and I will keep saying it that Igbo leaders are the worst set in Nigeria (with exception of a few). The Igbos should pray for Yorubas to start governing them so they can witness progress, it's far better than trooping in droves to live in Yorubaland under Yoruba leadership.

Oyo State alone is equivalent in size to the 5 South East States combined, yet Oyo with just 1 Governor is developing faster than the entire SE with 5 Governors and several National Assembly members.
I don't know why some Yorubas like to shy away from this truth, but we all know South West is being shortchanged terribly to favour South East and others.
PoliticsRe: Amaechi Vs Peter Obi At ADC Presidential Primary by flokii: 9:33pm On Jul 25, 2025

PoliticsRe: Tinubu’s Real Opposition Might Come From Inside APC - Not PDP Or Labour Party by flokii: 9:29pm On Jul 25, 2025
PBAT has no opposition as it stands now..
Atiku has resigned his membership of the PDP and is yet to officially announce his membership of ADC.

The only formidable opponent to PBAT is Atiku and he has left the 'main' opposition party to an irrelevant one.
