To the glory of God & shame of the devil, I welcomed my real oyibo princess on 7/8/18 via EMCS, with baby weighing 2.5kg. BS in a bit!! Tho I'm still recuperating from the wound, fibroids pain & belly button pain. Sorry for the late alert!!!

Hmmmmm....... I’ve not had a decent sleep since I gave birth to my son. This is worse than vigilante, I start crying at times cos it looks like there’s nothing I do that is enough coupled with the fact that I’m still having pains at the surgery site. I want to do exclusive feeding but he’s used to the formula already and breast milk is like appetizer to him plus my breast milk is not coming out well. I’ve done everything to make it come out but it’s not working,it’s coming out in drops. I honestly want to stop the formula but how would I do it when my breast milk is not flowing well?!

I've been awake since 2,the last time I had a decent no disturbance night sleep was 2016. Don't cry, just see it as a selfless sacrifice. Leave the baby sometimes with your hubby or anybody that came for ọmụgwọ and sleep,also leave whatever you're doing and sleep when he's sleeping.

As for the breastmilk issue, there's no price for ebf. Take enough liquid, pap, onugbu soup, oats, peppersoup, hot tea, palmwine(dunno if there's good palmy in lagos) fenugreek and rest. Continue putting baby to suckle, if you have a breast pump (manual will frustrate you) use it, take enough liquid when pumping and also when breastfeeding.

Most importantly, rest, don't allow anything to bother you.

Work with your Lmp EDD. Abeg na that hurt we need now. Try and explain to him, also exercise too, Take zobo, pineapple, dates.

Birth Alert!!!!!!

My princess made her grand entrance yesterday on her due date via a successful VBAC after 3 and half hours of labour with tear. Baby’s weight was 3.4kg & it was indeed a sharp sharp delivery. Father and son rejoicing. God be praised. Birth story later.
