Eezohbae: Uziza is unsafe in pregnancy... for pepper soup spice, just be sure not to buy pre-mixed ones as you don't know if they've added uziza already to it
Other sabi mamas will help Uziza leaf is actually safe, i used it to spice up egusi and ogbono soup even pepper soup. She should be worried about the uziza seed or uda @ africaflozy |

Ayaoye: Good day mamas please how can I treat cold on my almost 2 weeks old baby, she caught it from her brother. Her nose is filled with mucus, I have applied shear butter on her fore head and bridge of nose, little silver bird to her cloths. She is finding it abit hard to breath when you lay her to sleep. Haven't had any sleep for 2 days now. Though I'm taking her to the hospital tomorrow but I will gladly want to hear any tip to help have a..... Pele My son also had cold even cough @2wks from his older ones. I made sure I breastfed him often to keep him hydrated, elevated his head, made him warm often by making sure the room is warm(2-3 drops of Eucalyptus oil), applied shea butter on him since mentholatum is not advisable on babies. Used mucus extractor to suck out the mucus |

exquizit: Good morning mamas Please I have a 20 month old daughter that pees with her pants on and when she's done she either brings the potty to us or plays with the pee before we get there. She can't just pee, get up and leave. She even pours it on the floor sometimes. All these happens when I'm busy and not there to monitor her. Meanwhile, she doesn't touch when it's poop. Please how do I train her to start pulling her pants down and stop touching the potty? Thanks a lot. My son is 26m and still does this. He even squat like his sis while peeing. |

Nuttella: Morning my fellow food lovers, why do I always purge when I eat beans?
I perboil it twice, sometimes I even soak it for an hour before I cook it but I must surely purge. Maybe is the type of beans you eat. You can buy honey beans, wash before cooking and also parboil it. If you still purge then is your system. |

abbasajao: Good day experienced mummy here. I kindly need your assistance. I lost my wife during our first every baby birth. We have the baby(a girl) and she will be 3 months in few days time. We have been feeding her NAN 1 since birth and up to this moment. The NAN 1 seems not to be enough and feed her again. Please what other baby food can we start to giving her? having in mind that she has never taken breast milk before. Sorry for the loss of your wife. May her soul Rip. May God continue to give the fortitude to bear the loss and your daughter is already blessed. Continue feeding her the milk. You can time it and also feed at demand. You can introduce light solids from 4ms. There are cereals that can be given from 4ms eg heinz etc. You can prep pap a little watery with enough milk, fruits e.g well pureed avocado. Potatoes can be pureed too. All the best sir |

queenfav: lolz @ buying carton of SMA milk for an 18m..That child is supposed to be tearing chicken by now as well as other nice meals the family eats.My baby is hitting 8m next week and i am even praying for her to be 1yr fast so she can eat family food.Pls sis, on another issue. My daughter prefers to eat with feeder now.I started solids with pureed apple anf potato at 4m.She was eating it well when i spoon-feed her.
. Had to shorten the quote. Lol @tearing chicken. Every child is different. Continue with the spoon, you can also buy that feeder that comes with a spoon instead of teat. I believe zaynie have it or you can check the market for it. Congratulations on your child, was wondering why your hair thread wasn't updated. Never knew someone kept you busy. Abeg we've derailed this thread finally. Op will soon come for us. |

queenfav: An 18m old has passed plain milk stage.Better taken with cereal, oatmeal.@op you and your wife should sit down and draft a food time table for your baby. That way the meals can be balanced. Some still give tho, but op actually went to market and bought a carton of SMA for 18m. 18m should be eating(jaw movement), mashed food too. https://www.nairaland.com/4758545/baby-foods-recipes-weaning-solids/he should check this thread, it'll guide them. That's if he'll even do that. |

Ishilove: You are missing the point. Op's complaint is that people have advised her on changing the child's diet but madam is stubborn. Then he should try and feed his child. He can prep his food, not milk but food. Maybe his wife have no idea of other food to feed. I'll look for the babies food thread link and give him. https/www.nairaland.com/4758545/baby-foods-recipes-weaning-solids? Seriously, everything is not war At that month I was still mashing food for my DD, she's the pickiest eater I had. 3 days I left her with her father, she ate custard, cereal and tea throughout. Since then, anytime I want to leave the house, I always mash or give him her food timetable but I'll come back to her telling me that she ate indomie, goldenmorn and mendemende. |

newace: she's always rude to her mum , i saw it happen so many times before we got married, i don't know why but it's the truth. Eziokwu, and you went ahead and married her okwaya. So typical. From milk to clothing to disrespecting you, Dr and her mom Next will be she insulted your mother etc. Fault finder. Always labeling their spouse bad. She should come and give her own side of the story. Is it only amala that she prepares at home or is that the only thing your child loves? At least is not ogi |
Family › Re: I'm Tired Of My Wife, What Do I Do? by FloraEC(f): 2:39pm On Aug 24, 2020 |
newace: lol the clothing issue was first raised by her mum and aunt...marry someone that respects his/her mum(thats the foundation). Because she disagreed with her mum means she disrespected her. There's always two sides to a story. |
Family › Re: I'm Tired Of My Wife, What Do I Do? by FloraEC(f): 2:38pm On Aug 24, 2020 |
The kinda advice I read on nl tires me out.
Quietly talk to your wife. Why was your child not breast fed or was it complemented with milk? Is milk the new food you want to introduce to a toddler? My son never liked plain milk when he was that age, he'll spit everything out. Is your child a pickyeater? What other cereal have you bought? Beverage? What happened to other homemade food e.g mashed potatoes, beans with plantain etc. Finger foods like fried potatoes, pancakes, bread, plantains, soft baby carrots etc Natural fruit juice nko or fruits like Apple, banana etc The milk can be added in pap or cereal. Warm water first thing in the morning can help with the constipation. Or is it only amala that you eat in your house?
Everything is not war, war war. |

newace: My son has so many brand new clothes but he wears old rag looking clothes,i told her about this too but she argued. This happened some weeks ago. You're just finding unnecessary faults. From milk to clothing, next will be house chores, or cooking or maybe she's disrespectful. Haa, let her be. |
