Hope there's no too much complain? Sorry for the body pains, swollen feet and BH, it'll surely end in praise.
Mama's that have welcomed their LO, congrats. Try and do your sitzbath religiously and also take the drugs given to you. Take vit c and fruits rich in vit c.
Please don't allow anything to bother you no matter what to avoid PPD

Birth story: got to the hospital by 10am on Friday morning.. Without any contractions .I had already made up my mind to get an induction since my maternity leave ha started counting since Monday. The doc was reluctant because I wasnt 40 weeks yet. Hubby spoke on my behalf that we will be induced knowing the risks as well
At past 11, I was given two table spoon full of castor oil which didn't have any effect
By 1pm, folley bulb catheter was inserted cos I was 0cm dilated. It had to fall off on its own to indicate dilated to 3-4cm
It fell done minutes before 9pm finally after going up and down the stairs and walking the hallways. I felt happy that there was progress.
The contractions were coming but not so strong.
I manage to sleep around past 12am till dawn.woke up, feeling nothing
The doc came at 1pm on Saturday, asking when the catheter fell the previous day, I told him
He then check my cervix and said I was over 4cm dilated. I felt happy once more.
He instructed that I should be given cytotec as well as one injection on my thigh
After those two, about 30mins later the contractions began say about 4-5mins apart lasting for 40-50seconds.
I said this is the real thing
I was there oo till 6pm ..then I started seeing stars. They were coming at 2mins (or less) intervals
The doc came a gain to check my cervix
That check felt like hell..he said I was almost 10cm and asked for pitocin to be given
I thought I was going to loose my mind.
At past 9, I was assisted to the delivery room
Few minutes before 10pm, my son came out
Without any tear
Am so in love

Lord we pray for our 1st and 2nd trimester mamas, let no evil befall us in Jesus name. Let the remaining journey be stressfree in Jesus name.

Lord we pray for every mamas on TTC thread; Father we pray you give them a testimony of double. Cause them Lord to marvel at your goodness.

Lord we pray for our families, let Your love prevail in our homes in Jesus name.

Nnem I'm not denying them just that when doc reviewed my LMP which was 21st Jan, he gave me 28th Oct and scan gave me Oct too but i just let it flow and I didn't want to correct it because them no plenty then and Mama Zayni show them shege and now doc is giving me 2nd/3rd week in Oct, what do I do become cappo when there's still Nov cappo that never rejected her post just that she's busy making money and since they are clamouring for roll call, ngwan let one person volunteer, me I know my edd.
I just checked on her to show love, them come dey force cappo on me mbanu, I'm still supporting the original cappo Vannywe.

The day before yesterday, I visited the toilet up to 7times, dunno what upset my stomach but I suspect the spicy concoction rice I ate at my bestie's place.

Yesterday was another drama, I went to a cafeteria to eat, after demolishing Amala, ewedu and gbegiri with orisirisi meat, something just hooked me by my left side. I managed back to the office and the pain got worse, somewhere above my waist in-between my back and tommy(my side sha) was aching seriously, I can't explain but the pain comes and go.

I couldn't go home cos I would be alone at home so I kept enduring it, my colleague suggested he takes me to the hospital but I declined. I got home and took hot tea, I felt relieved and I slept off.

Mamas Abeg how do I know if I'm already having contractions? someone said it'd like menstrual cramps but I have not experienced menstrual cramps before only sore nipples and tender breasts during menstrual period.

Cappo we dey o. Baby is still enjoying, floating freely instead of engaging. How I wish I could push her down into d pelvis already.pelvis and vagina hurt like something else.. Can't even walk properly. Have to hold on to something each time I wake up for bathroom break which can b several times before daybreak. And I can't stop thinking about labour!

No matter the baby position it'll soon/still end in praise. If your pelvic and vagina hurts and you can't walk well that means baby is engaged already.

Sorry for the constant urination, it'll soon stop ok.
Thinking of labor is normal.
