My beautiful princess landed via VD with a tear on friday, 6/7/2018 weighing 2.6 kg.
We got back home yesterday & doing very fine.
Thank God it ended in praise.

I only know vitc drop is good for newborn. I noticed DD breathing was noisy. I administered vitc drop and she slept more comfortably with zero sound from her breathing. Other sabi mamas will chock mouth.
I do use ori around the bridges of her nose since birth. I was doing it as a preventive measure because me wey born am na chief catarrh himself.

Thanks dear, I'll buy the vit c drop then. I use ori on his nose bridge, his sis is queen of catarrh and separating them is impossible

1: Please which saline drop is good for newborn? My son didn't sleep well last night. He was breathing through his mouth.
2: How many times do I've to do steam inhalation for him? Must I add silverbird or mentholata since he's still tender?
3: Can I give vit c drop?
4: I did pap smear in 2016 after the birth of my daughter, do I still have to repeat another one.

I tot we have discussed colic here on this thread.

As soon as a baby is born, give the baby atleast 3 teaspoon or tablespoon of coconut water ( liquid from coconut you cracked) . Wait for a while ( some say 30 mins) b4 you start breastfeeding the baby.
This solves colic problem in newborns .

I have not seen anybody that used this therapy complain of colic. The mother should take the remaining coconut water. It helps prevent new mother's stomach cramps and pains.

For ppl that their babies already have colic, I don't know the solution. Maybe other mama's can advise.

@all, as you pack your hospital bag, get malt and milk and add to the bag. I heard you should take it as soon as you deliver. It helps to regain strength fast. Who doesn't like malt and milk?

My dear, coconut milk was the first thing that entered my son mouth. It'll make the colic mild and not stop it. Baby will still stretch and groan.

I can wait this one out but my daughter took colipan, nospamin, tummy rubbing, bicycle exercise way. She was crying, stretching and groaning that we even went to hospital. We had no choice than to wait till 3months but it was manageable at 2m+

If your hubby is mobile, you can. You should have gone to the hospital when you noticed the contraction since you're overdue to be checked.

Hot poo poo is baby. Mucus plug ain't compulsory.

Please go to hospital, let them chase you back than to birth at home.
