Pls if already in profit, try to take some profit as u go, while moving your stop loss for what's let, or at least put your stop loss at entry point.

The profits u see now may not be there the next hour.

Adding more margin without increasing the amount of coin bought reduces your effective leverage and improves your liquidation price. Entry price stays the same.

Adding more more margin by buying more units of the coin gives you a lower entry price if you buy cheaper and a higher entry price if you buy higher. You might also be at higher risk of liquidation if you buy higher.

Exactly. That actually came to mind after I responded earlier.

Beefing up the margin without new purchase will not affect entry point, it will instead increase the gap for liquidation price.

Increasing margin via additional purchase is what will shift your entry price.

For long position

* When already in profit, an increase in margin size will take your entry point higher e.g. from 0.0100 to 0.0150

* When still in loss (red) an increase in margin size will take your entry point lower e.g. from 0.0100 to 0.0085

The opposite applies to short positions

Trade with caution cos increasing your margin also increases your risk
