says APC will fail in Rivers

By: Israel Arogbonlo
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has revealed that Governor Nyesom Wike’s rumoured support for APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will fail.

Primate Ayodele, in a statement signed on Sunday, by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, said Governor Wike will only cause a pandemic to Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

He explained that the governor is playing with his political future with some of the actions he has taken in recent times.

‘’APC and Tinubu will fail in Rivers State. The support for Tinubu by Wike is a pandemic, anyone the governor supports will definitely fail. Wike is playing with his political future and this will have a dent on him. His people will not listen to him because he has passed his boundary,’’ he said.

Speaking on the 2023 presidential election, Primate Ayodele revealed that the northern vote will determine the next president of Nigeria while warning Peter Obi to be careful because there will be a gang-up against his votes in the north. He also assured that there will be no coup in the country.

‘’The northern votes will determine who becomes the president of Nigeria, Obi must be careful not to be knocked out by northern votes, There will be a gang-up against his votes in the north. There will be no coup in Nigeria, God has not endorsed such in the country.”

Also, Primate Ayodele warned INEC again concerning the election as he foresees hanky-panky games in the electoral body.

He expressed worries over electronic transmission and the BVAS.

He noted that some officials of the INEC will compromise and some elements will try to frustrate the success of the 2023 general elections.

‘’INEC must be up and doing in this election, lots of hanky-panky games will happen in the commission. I am worried about INEC electronic transmission and BVAS issues.

“There could be means of using the device negatively if some officials of the commission compromise. There are cabals that want to frustrate the efforts of INEC, they are not interested in the success of this election,’’ he opined.

The Yoruba Elders’ Union has promised to rally support and canvass for votes for the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, whom they say would recover Nigeria.

The move by the Yoruba elders might further promote the candidacy of the PDP flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar
Meanwhile, the move by the southwest leaders may adversely affect the chances of the APC flagbearer, Bola Tinubu and LP flagbearer, Peter Obi, in the forthcoming presidential election
A socio-cultural group of Yoruba leaders under the aegis of the Yoruba Elders’ Union (YEU) has declared support for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.

The Yoruba leaders urged all well-meaning Nigerians to vote for the former two-term Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

Professor Muhammad Omolaja, the president of the Union, said that YEU considered all the presidential candidates from various political parties using, among other things, criteria such as competence, experience, health, and general acceptability of the candidates, a report by Daily Times confirmed.

What Atiku stands for Omolaja said that Abubakar Atiku stands out among the presidential candidates as regards competence and health.

Reno Omokri, one of the prominent chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a strong supporter of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, has pulled some stunts.

Omokri took to his Twitter page on Wednesday evening to state that if Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential flagbearer, could not lift people out of poverty when he was the governor of Anambra, how would he do that at the national level?

The former presidential aide then declared that if Bola Tinubu, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had said that, Nigerians would have fallen for it.

Legit.ng earlier reported that the APC presidential campaign council has rejected the outcome of the Nextier poll that predicted victory for Peter Obi of the Labour Party in the 2023 election.

Bayo Onanuga, the media director of the APC PCC, alleged that the Patrick Okigbo-led organisation has some hidden agenda.

Onanuga stated that the 3000 sampling sample of the poll is very poor for an election where over 90 million people have registered to vote.

Why Obi is stealing Atiku's votes, Atiku and Kwankwanso are stealing Tinubu's votes

Majority of the people who voted for PDP in 2019 are likely going to vote for Labour Party in 2023 while majority of the people who voted for APC in 2019 are likely going to vote for PDP in 2023.

For clarity, Rivers State voted PDP in the last presidential election but will go Obi's way in 2023 Election. Katsina voted apc in the last presidential election but will go Atiku's way in 2023 election. This coming election is about the candidate but not the party.

For Tinubu to win, he must have over 80% of Northern but can he repeat the feat of Buhari by winning over 80% of Northern votes with the likes of kwankwaso and Atiku on the ballot?

With the mood of we south westerners, Tinubu may lose South West but with a small margin. I have not seen more than two people surpporting Asiwaju outside social media.

The two most disadvantaged groups in Nigeria’s representational politics are northern Christians and Southern Muslims. In Nigeria’s internal geopolitics, these two groups are structurally invisible, politically subjugated, and told to be content with their political and symbolic marginality".

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a Muslim from Osun/Lagos states, and Yakubu Dogara, a northern Christian from Bauchi State, embody this phenomenon eloquently.

"Good" Northern Christians are thought to be those who subordinate their Religious Identity. In some meetings in the North some Christians don't mention Jesus while praying just to please their Muslim friends.

One thing with the Muslims in the North of Nigeria is that you can't believe them hook line and sinker.

Nigerians do not understand the Northern Muslims. This group do not want to lose out. A Muslim from the South picking a Christian from the North as Vice President they believe they will lose out politically. Because they don't even trust the Yoruba Muslim. They are the only true muslims, descendants of uthman Danfodio. Therefore it is either they are the President or they must deputise for whoever is President period. They convince you and everyone else that they have the numbers to make that happen.

The century long Propaganda by the colonial Masters and the Muslim Northeners who control the media in the North made the world to believe Christians in the North are insignificant, maybe 95% muslims to 5% Christians. The Nigerians in the South and middle belt have believed this.

Many Southerners never believed there were indigenous Christians from Borno State until the Chibok girls Kidnapped were 90% Christians, indigenous to Chibok in Borno State.

Population statistics in the North of Nigeria.

*NORTHERN CHRISTIAN.*

1) North East:
Adamawa state is 60 percent Christian.

Taraba State is 70 percent Christian (The muslims here fear the Christianswho do not take any disrespectly lying down).

Gombe State is 40 percent Christian (It could be more).

Borno State is 30 Percent Christian.

Bauchi State is 20 Percent Christian.

Yobe state is 20 percent Christian (it could be more).

2)North Central
Benue is 95% percent Christian.

Plateau State is 90 percent Christian.

Nasarawa state: The two largest ethnic groups are: Eggon the largest ethnic group is 80 percent Christian, Mada is 90 percent Christian, is 65 percent Christian.

Nassarawa has alot of animists even in LGAs near Abuja the FCT.

Kogi state is 60 percent Christian: Igala is 70 percent Christian, Okun is almost 100 percent Christians while in Ibira Land Christians are 30 percent.

Kwara: Christians are 40 percent(it could be more).

Niger: 40 percent Christian (High number of animists in Niger especially among the Dukawa People in Rijau LGA of Niger State).

North West:
Kano: 10 percent Christian (It could be more with a very high population of igbos who have been part of the driving force of commerce there for decades).

Katsina is 20 percent Christian (Christians could be up to 40% in Katsina, many indigenous Hausas in Katsina call Maguzawa are Christians).

Sokoto is 5 percent Christian.

Zamfara is 20 percent Christian.

Kebbi state is 30 percent Christian (High number of animists & Idol Worshippers ecist in Kebbi especially among the Zuru and Dukawa people in Shanga LGA and around Yauri).

Kaduna state is 55 percent Christian (this population has been systematically thinned out under the watchful eyes of El-rufai).

Many villages in the Northern parts of Nigeria are predominantly Christian or animists (why do you think there have been incessant attack in the north west the past 8 years?). Yes the big cities are overrun with muslims but the hinterland harbours a remnant of christianity.

Many big Mosques are empty in the villages, nobody prays inside. Usually only the village head and his family are Muslims under the payroll of Government but the others are christian or animists. When you ask some of the villagers they say the Muslims came from Government house through their traditional ruler and built the mosque believing one day all the villagers will convert to Islam and worship in the mosque. That is why they built the mosque and you a stranger will think the entire village are Muslims.

The Middlebelt is not less than 50m People. If Kaduna alone can have about 3 million Christians by 2006 census according to LGAs, the entire northern Nigeria should have not less than 60
m Christians.

WHY IS THE NORTHERN CHRISTAIN SILENT?

(1) Wrong Training
A Northern Christian boy is trained to be quiet, while a Northern Muslim boy is trained to speak out from Quranic school. With the whip the Mallam makes the silent one talk,be bold and tough . Many northern Christians are made to believe there is honour and dignity in keeping quiet while injustice glares you in the face.

(2) Fear
Many Northern Christians ask you to keep a low profile and be silent , don't put your family in danger.

(3) Timidity:
You have to respect Government even in injustice. Northern Christians believe Government can not be spoken against even when they are wrong. The Bible says Pray for Government.

(4) Many Northern Christians are selfish.
They are self centered and if they can provide for their families, everybody else should go to hell.

(5) Inferiority Complex:
Northern Christians, for centuries have been marginalised and persecuted by Northern Muslims therefore inferiority complex has set in. Many feel they can not aspire for anything in life without the help of a Muslim.

(6) Northern Christian Elders and politicians have not helped matters.
The youth look to them for direction but never get a clear directive.

(7) Northern Christians have a Slave Mentality
Many see the Northern Muslim as a superior specie since he strolls about with confidence even in a foreign land.

Christians as a whole in Nigeria appear to be unnecessarily afraid and weak. Prayers and actions must go hand in hand. They must step forward, speak their minds and stand for their rights or die second class citizens in their own nation. They must have one voice or perish. The church leadership has failed but has one last chance to be bold.

PoliticsFestus Keyamo Steals Photos Of Chicago Festival To Boost Tinubu’s Sokoto Rally by floret23(op): 7:44am On Feb 10, 2023
It was not the first time the controversial senior lawyer faced embarrassment for sharing fake images for political propaganda online.

Nigerian labour minister Festus Keyamo was rebuked on social media on Thursday after circulating stolen from Chicago images to misrepresent the turnout of supporters for Bola Tinubu’s campaign rally in Sokoto on Thursday.

Mr Keyamo, a senior lawyer and spokesman for the ruling All Progressives Congress’ presidential campaign panel, tweeted the pictures on his Twitter account, which he captioned the “mother of all rallies.”

“More pictures from the mother of all rallies in Sokoto! The signs are all there for all to see! But they are playing! Make dem dey play!! In about a fortnight, the jungle will mature!!,” the tweet read.

The photo Mr Keyamo shared was from a music festival which took place in 2021 in Chicago. The picture had gone viral at the time for a massive violation of the COVID-19 protocols as many people gathered without protective measures at the peak of the pandemic.

Mr Keyamo previously suffered public ridicule after using a picture featuring presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, in 2022. He claimed that the photograph was from a meeting where Mr Obi had purportedly agreed to work in favour of Mr Atiku’s presidential bid, but the former director-general of the LP PCC, Doyin Okupe, debunked the report.

The falsification was seen as a cushion for the tough time that currently besets the party and its presidential candidate Bola Tinubu in the north region.

The vice presidential candidate of the party, Kashim Shettima, in a recent outburst, alleged that the north as a geopolitical zone has not given him the expected support because of his Kanuri heritage. His comments exposed the dwindling support the APC continues to witness across the north in the twilight of its eight years rule.

Nigerians are due to participate in this year’s general elections on February 25.

INEC is biased against Peter Obi. They cannot be trusted to conduct free and fair election.
PoliticsINEC Confirms Liking Tweet Against Peter Obi by floret23(op): 6:49pm On Feb 09, 2023
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has clarified that it does not have preference for any candidate or political party.

The  clarification is coming on the heels of the Commission’s liking of a tweet by Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, calling his counterpart in the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, an opportunist.

Sowore had in a tweet called Obi an opportunist who fell in love with President Muhammadu Buhari, who he also described as wicked and incompetent, because of the Naira redesign policy.

He also said Obi believed the policy would confer undue advantage on his campaign.

Surprisingly, the tweet was liked by the INEC, sparking controversy, with Nigerians questioning the neutrality of the electoral body.

However, the INEC has come out to make clarification surrounding the controversy. It issued a statement on its Twitter handle on Wednesday.

It wrote, “The attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been drawn to a post on its Twitter handle, liking a post relating to one of the 18 Presidential candidates.

“The Commission is an independent electoral body and does not have preference for any candidate or political party. The Commission assures all Nigerians of its neutrality and will conduct a general election that is free and fair to all. The allegiance of the Commission is to the people of Nigeria.

“In the meantime, the Commission is investigating the circumstances that led to the liking of the said post and will take appropriate disciplinary actions if an infraction is established.”

5. Imo
6. Akwa-Ibom
7. Cross-Rivers
8. Rivers
9. Bayelsa
10. Delta
11. Edo
12. Lagos
13. Benue
14. Plateau

These are the additional states OBI is LIKELY to win 25%:
15. Nasarawa
16. Kaduna
17. Taraba
18. Ogun
19. Oyo
20. Ondo
21. Osun
22. Ekiti

In total, these are 22 states I think OBI is likely or sure of winning ≥25%.... The remaining 14 states are up for grabs and OBI still needs about 2 states in the bag. Which of these 14 states can additionally be added to the bag?

Kogi - Kwara - Niger - Adamawa - Bauchi - Borno - Gombe - Yobe - Jigawa - Kano - Katsina - Kebbi - Sokoto - Zamfara
Obi will likely have 25% in Kogi - Kwara - Niger - Adamawa - Bauchi - Borno - Gombe - Kano

Against the projection of his critics that he would not do well outside the South-East region, a new poll said to be more robust and scientific than previous ones has predicted Peter Obi of the Labour Party as the leading presidential candidate in three out of the six geopolitical zones of the country.

In the three remaining geopolitical zones, the LP candidate is also projected to make sizable gains in the election as he’s said to be in a pole position to win the February 25 election.

The poll conducted by Stears, a data firm, is the fifth to predict Obi’s victory after previous ones commissioned by Bloomberg, Anap Foundation, amongst others.

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, trailed Obi with two geopolitical zones (North East and North west) while the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is projected to win the South West region.

No matter how you express your beef and anger against him there are facts you cannot change which include;

1. He ran the most secured state in Nigeria during his tenure. Former IGP Abubarkar gave him 5 years accollades of the most secured state back to back for 5 years.

2. The minister of works then gave him the best accolade of a governor that built 800km of road network in 8years over 230 roads

3. Educationally , He met Anambra at 26th position in 2006 and left it at 1st by 2014 when he was leaving.

4. He was the only governor that met the millennium development goal in Nigeria in both education and health. In fact , Milinda and bill gate foundation gave him a personal gift of 1 million dollar for his achievement. Which he dropped in the state account rather than putting in his own private account.

5. He is the only former governor today that does not collect pension, gratuity, land gift and allowances since he left the govt in 2014.

6. When he became SEC chairman under President Jonathan, he told SEC to hold back all his allowance and entitlement as a Board chairman . He left without nothing. He said he does not need them.

7. When he was chairman of fidelity bank , he was entitled to two brand new cars annually. He told the board. I don't need them. Let me just come for meetings and go home.

You can only be angry with him. You cannot change the facts.
