SmartPolician:I have to be honest, you need to be emulated.... you are what many Nigerians lack, the manner at which you handled the situation is highly remarkable. Some times when you tell people that they are ignorant of a situation, they see it as an insult. |
Money money money.... If juju works the way this boys picture it to....Nigerians should be richer than elon musk and Jeff Bezos ... footballers make alot money than Ritualist |
Ashirioluwa:Many top Government officials are their sponsors that's why it's business for them... the am amnesty package goes back to them(sponsors)...it's just like a Governor that owns a construction company, when he wants to build road in the state,he will use his company, at the end of everything the money goes back into his purse...so in this case the ransom that was paid by the government and the amnesty package that is coming will eventually go into their individual accounts... Nigeria is sweet if you are closer to the decision makers, nothing is sweeter than Nigeria I swear, no wonder everyone is cashing out... |
thebosstrevor1:Nigerians are confused sets of people.. If this kidnapper and terrorist is fighting injustice, that means people like Evans, shekau is also fighting injustice...same way ipob are fighting injustice....So because of these scripted interview by a terrorist , you suddenly went soft... the hypo and jik used to brainwash many Nigerians is highly effective.. one day we will all forgive Boko Haram if we continue going this your direction.. |
inoki247:Just give a dog a name and hang it, it's a pity many financial crimes committed in wider climes will be attributed to Hush puppy,he will take the fall for them. A case of scapegoat, although in the nearest future I see a new business coming up, "Doing jail term for someone and getting paid" just imagine if people like Hushpuppy and invintus obi had contracted two persons that will do their jail term and were paid 6million dollars each before they are escorted inside the prison.... won't it be worth it?...many will be willing to do that, looking at the situation of things in Nigeria. |
Gerrard59:Truth is if your great grand parents were proactive the way you are now, you won't have time for Nairaland, you will be in either of the offices either as a Minister, Commissioner, senator, Governor etc... the difference between you and them is not that they went to fanciful university abroad or had working experience in big companies... the difference is their parents were proactive enough to lay a good foot prints for their children to follow... just like tomorrow when you hear that El-Rufai's grand son is the Governor of kaduna state, I don't expect you to shout foul play because their Dad has laid the foundation for them to follow, just like the Yar'Aduas..... |
In as much as I don't like El-Rufai, I must admit he just pointed out to Nigerians the solution to their woes... Being part of the selection process is key to good governance in Nigeria, just imagine if all the Nigerians breaking and setting good records in different industry, departments abroad are part of the selection process instead of the present greedy old men in different political parties that dictates for more than 200million people how the country will be run... Important lesson to pick from here.... Good and capable people should get involved and secure a seat in the table of selection...#Chase El-Rufai and his Goons out of politics, # Chase all political old men out of Nigerian politics. |
Like father like son.... show me any trust worthy youth in Nigeria, you cannot be sowing maize and hoping to harvest rice...is it not youth like Desmond Elliot, Yaya Bello, invictus obi, and numerous number of other lazy youths that have sold out their voice and turned voiceless to the point they can't even hear themselves not to talk of others hearing them....all Nigerian youth is a potential thief, scammer, looter.... what many don't know yet is that the kind of looting that will take place in this country when a youth takes over will be so alarming to the rest of the world, Abacha will know he was only an apprentice wherever he is....if you want to understand what I mean, check SUGs of all schools in Nigeria, point one that didn't loot.... just imagine if such is allowed to assume the highest position in the country... Nigeria is not a country |
The North right after independence is wiser than the South although many southerners think otherwise.... No sane country will move away it's capital from Lagos which is conducive for good governance in all ramifications to Abuja (a Hinterland)... that was a northern agenda, right from the beginning Nigeria was islamized but non islamic regions never saw the writing on the wall...it is because of this reason that there has been unrest in Nigeria after independence,if you are waiting to see a formal approach of turning Nigeria into an islamic country you need to be checked again, it has already been done since the very beginning, what you are seeing now is the after effects and more will come... Nigeria was a test tool for the british. |

I think our politicians really believe in reincarnation,if not they won't be this gullible looting for their tenth generation.... I have tried to understand why looting is much in Nigeria, it's either there is something we don't know about life after now that they do because I don't think all vital information is for everyone... starting with Late Sani Abacha down to our present looters....Does it mean they will come back to this earth and also in the same family?.... the rate of the looting has surpassed comfortability....80 years old looting, 70 ,60 years all looting and milking the nation....some times let's keep our national problems aside and look at some underlying factors surrounding the problems....or is it that they were brainwashed into thinking they will return to that same family if there is possiblity of reincarnation. |

Doague:It's very insane for a Nigerian president to resign or impeached....do you know how much they spent to get there.... until we change and make them understand that we are tired of the peanut they dish out to us during election, my own is if you want to milk this country dry, it's non of my business, give everyone that votes for you 10million naira, then no one will not complain when you start to loot.... |
Minister of Defense for mouth, only for your house na military zombies dey secure you and your family.... with such mentality how can you secure this unhappy marriage called Nigeria. If only these retired retards ruling Nigeria since democracy started will tell us what makes them think that everyone is a fool, you will go and sew asoebi and Christmas clothes for hardened terrorists, empower them and tell us they have repented....Why not ask us to forgive them also?...May the Fire that you all started reach everyone of you,..... Since you people are not yet tired deceiving yourselves, please legalize gun for everyone one in this country since all your aim is to destroy Nigerian innocent Citizens, at least let everyone be defending his or herself so that Ministries such as Ministry of Defense will be scraped out.... when you get home take away all guns from the zombies guiding you in your house then give them battens instead, since you want to claim stupidity. |
Something is really wrong somewhere, and like I said earlier I think the cap is the problem he's facing, a good liar has a retentive memory to remember his exact words he said in the past and stick to it but with Mr Lai Mohammed I can't say the same, he denies his own public statement even with the ones that has video evidence to support... Despite evidence, Lai Mohammed denies existence of ‘social media bill’ By Tonye Bakare 01 February 2020 | 8:02 am Despite the abundance of proofs about its existence, Nigeria's minister of information Lai Mohammed has said the country is not trying to pass a law that can stifle dissensions. The Protection from Internet Falsehood and Manipulation Bill 2019, otherwise known as the Social Media Bill, if passed, will give sweeping power to the government to clamp down on critics and also shut down the internet. The bill, sponsored by Senator Muhammad Sani Musa of the ruling All Progressives Congress, passed the first and second readings on November 5 and 20 respectively. The Guardian received an official copy of the bill on November 24. |
Uneasy is the head that wears the cap.. this cap is the main problem of Mr Lai Mohammed,if only he will do away with the cap so that Nigerians will see him for who he truly is.... This cap is the lying machine affecting Mr Lai Mohammed.

They have started warning Nigerians before hand, but like Buhari they won't listen until they come October 2023 to complain again... Wetin concern me....as I dey canada like this |
What exactly did we achieve in the last 60years of this contraption called marriage?.... Nothing. In marriage when there is loss of interest by both parties, what happens?.... The marriage gets dissolve. So why can't this marriage called Nigeria be dissolved?...I guess our politicians are too greedy and wicked to allow that. Sincerely speaking, power is not with the people.... Nigerians are slaves to their politicians, Southern politicians are slaves to the North. The North comprises of 10 Northern families, and they are the owners of this contraption. |
If invictus obi can pay just 4million Dollars....there are many Nigerians in the street who are willing to volunteer to go to prison and do the time on his behalf.... this is a one in a lifetime opportunity to leave poverty....all that will be required will be a formal legal agreement between invitus and the volunteer.... the money will be paid before the volunteer steps his foot pass the prison gate..... This is a legal form of business that will be endorsed very soon....and it is lucrative. |
ChizzyBuna:Once you are poor and from Nigeria know that you committed great sin in ur past life that is why you were sent there(Hell=Nigeria) to suffer... I know you will ask what about the rich, they will be sent to Sudan as poor people in their next life once they don't make up for their evil deeds before they die... the world is a cycle... this was what an elderly man said to me 5years ago but he is late now |
ipobarethieves:I enjoyed his fairly tale In as much as they were all lies, at least he showed some creativity with the story |
Mrsoft3:It might come as a surprise to you, she is the best mom for her kids... forget what ever drama being displayed by Nigerian politicians, immediate family comes first before the affairs of the Nation... just for an instance, your Dad being the CEO of a company, He commands respect and authority from outsiders and he creates boundaries with his employees but back at home, you will see him as your Dad and not the CEO and you relate easily compared to his employees... |
NwaAmaikpe:This should be an eye opener for everyone, whether you are rich or poor, once you close your eyes and journey into the world of no return, you won't know what is happening after in the world you left behind...if someone had told him that despite his wealth, political position, and class that his corpse will be carried with a mere toyota sienna he wouldn't have believed it...at least he impacted on people's life that is what matters....Rip Ossy Prestige. |
Queenlovely:I have to be honest your wisdom is older than you are... thumbs up ![]() |
If February 14th isn't your birthday and you are demanding gifts (monetary or inkind) you are a thief, an opportunist and corrupt, you need to be arrested....St Valentine never asked you to collect any gift on his behalf... Ladies will demand for gifts for Christmas, Easter, sallah, New year, New yam festival, October 1st (independence) and Valentine. In all these period, none is their birthday.... |
Asadujames202:He is my neighbor and a fugitive haven't seen him since this morning February 14. |
dominion001:The name Nigeria was given birth to during Sexual intercourse between Lord Lugard and his mistress...so sex will always be talked about as long as Nigeria is concern....who knows maybe that was the name Lord Lugard's mistress was screaming...lol |
lilvicky68:May be that is the root of Nigeria's problem who knows...if you take a deeper look you might see a correlation between Nigeria's problem and sex. |
limeta:Are you speaking from experience or you were compelled to.....they are not cow word but 2face region.... confused sets of people, they fight against what they love and admire(Easterners have Nnamdi Kanu now they have Sunday Igboho).stop saying their leaders because every leader was once a follower....it is follow come with them. It's just like saying in Nigeria, only the politicians are corrupt, everyone is corrupt including me writing this and you reading it....as long as you are in the society, you are part of it and it's problems... |
michoim:My prediction is this there won't be any election in 2023... because there won't be anything called peace by that time, it will get worse more than it is now, some prominent people seeking for national reforms will be targeted and possibly assassinated... Nigeria will be worse get ready, it has shifted from the North down Middlebelt, to Southwest, once Southwest sinks, they will face Southeast and finally South-South.... truth is Nigeria is in her last age. |
Firstvaxer:GEJ was not the right person to lead Nigeria, no form of disrespect .. he is a good man, but there is what we call sequence, America is enjoying today what older generation fought for...what Nigeria need at the moment for a president is a radical, strong will, Smart, rational and no nonsense kind of leader that is ready to go to jail if found wanting, he will lay the foundation for our democracy so that every incoming leaders will build on it,.... GEJ will now be the perfect match for a future leader.....for christians; John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus Christ (Sequence)...I don't think Nigerians were wrong voting Buhari in 2015, this was what they were looking for... Buhari's CV pointed him towards being the John the Baptist needed to prepare the way for our democracy but seems not all that glitters is diamond.... the person that will lay that foundation is not a politician, let's stop voting in politicians they are the reason Nigeria is the way it is....Vote for a leader, look around you, people with good leadership qualities most times don't have any portfolio or office, they are volunteers that help ensure that things run smoothly...those are the people that will lay the foundation stone for our democracy....we have tried politicians for more than 20yrs, nothing to show for it. |
