Christianity EtcRe: Apostle Paul Okikijesu 2021 Prophecies: Crisis In Aso Rock, A Governor Will Die by floss(m): 11:36am On Jan 17, 2021
I believe God is tired of Nigeria and Nigerians, He has Left this country before now...so many Nigerians are forced by circumstances such as poverty, poor standard of living, poor policy implementation by the government, lack of infrastructure, bad leadership, poor followership mentality etc, into practising religion they don't believe in thinking dey are worshipping God, Allah, or any other deity or god they ascribe potency.... the smart business men of god(pastors), the imam's, alfas etc, knows this that's why anyone can wake up and say trash about
making a prophecy instead of saying prediction.... anyone can make prophecies here in Nigeria now, if you think I'm bluffing write out ten events in a paper or make a video,b following the current trend of events happening now in Nigeria, you will find out that before the year runs out, 8 out of the 10 events will come to pass...I call it accurate prediction, this is the technique
good sports pundits, bet9ja players apply, even forex traders....so they should stop calling it prophecy but prediction... currently we know that nothing good will come out from Nigeria, so any bad event predicted will come to pass...There are pastors in Europe, Asia, America, ....ask your self, why is it only in Africa, especially in Nigeria that these business men of god see things to prophesy .... because it's business and when your predictions enter just like bet9ja, Nigerians will worship you.... my advice is, Nigerians hold ur government accountable to provide the necessary things needed to better the country, then you watch how this business men of god will go and look for something else to do...
PoliticsRe: Why Solomon Emmanuel Akuma Was Arrested By Security Operatives by floss(m): 7:58am On Jan 13, 2021
From my own understanding of things happening around the world especially in Nigeria, we should all be careful of what we say publicly on any platform, you might argue "what about freedom of speech"... But the truth is that anything you say about any government whether it was said out of frustration or repression, or jokingly has the possibility of instigating or even poisoning the mind of other people having similar thoughts with what you said.... the young man was arrested because he threatened the life of the president of a country (Nigeria), which we all know is a serious offence under the law in any country especially in Nigeria.. Although, we know the young man might not be able to carry out his intentions because he might not have the means and resources, but what about if that he said was later carried out by a different person that seems capable and had the means to get the job done because he has seen some one that is willing to take the fall incase anything goes wrong (remember we have psyches all over even within the people with class and resources), just like how some people will cause social unrest in the country, Boko Haram will come out to claim responsibility, even when they never did it in the first instance because we all know they are capable of carrying out such acts... After the endsars protest, many people's accounts were frozen and summoned by the FG because of their role in the whole saga (mind you I'm not against a peaceful protest).... what I'm saying is that everything boils down to how the president or the presidency wants to take the situation, the past Govt under PDP might decide to ignore what ever treasonable comments you make or actions you take but that doesn't justify what you said to be good, if you wants to criticize, come out clearly stating your points and at the end you point out recommendations, that is criticism, anything outside this might be seen differently by a few others. You might say buhari said something worse than that in the past to the former govt.... that govt decided on not taking action but that doesn't make it less an offense. But this govt has decided to make you accountable to what you say,so in the case of the young man he knows where he got it wrong.

There might actually be more to the story but nonetheless she is a murderer as it is now unless the Court prove otherwise which will be very hard.

If she had family support, it would be hard for her to be engaging in ashawo business. And according to the story, she and the guy she murdered has been seeing each other for some times now. So it's possible she isn't even an ashawo sef.

CrimeHow To Recover Your Money After Being Scammed by floss(op): 10:18pm On Sep 25, 2020
*Have you mistakenly or greedily sent 50k to get 100k in 5 minutes and then later realized that you have been scammed?*
And the scammer even went on to rub your ignorance on your face too??

*Good news to you,*

Please follow the below steps and pray fervently too

*HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MONEY AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED.*

I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".

Please read careful and learn.

20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful.

Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:

1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).

2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK (anticorruptionunit@cbn.gov.ng) this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank.

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

HealthChinese Virologist Posts Report Claiming COVID-19 Was Made In Wuhan Lab By Tamar by floss(op): 12:52pm On Sep 15, 2020
A Chinese virologist who has alleged that COVID-19 was human-made in a lab in China released a report on Monday that she says backs up her explosive claim.

Dr. Li-Meng Yan, a former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, posted a paper on the the open-access repository website Zenote, that she claims shows how SARS-CoV-2 could be “conveniently created” in a laboratory setting in six months.

The paper, co-authored with two others, is titled “Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route.”

It claims to note how “SARS-CoV-2 shows biological characteristics that are inconsistent with a naturally occurring, zoonotic virus.”

Other scientists out of California have previously published a journal article mapping out the virus’ genetic sequence which they say proves “SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus.”

Yan’s paper came after an interview she gave on the British talk show “Loose Women,” on Friday in which she repeated her claims that the coronavirus “comes from the lab — the lab in Wuhan and the lab is controlled by China’s government.”

She insisted that widespread reports that the virus originated last year from a wet market in Wuhan are “a smoke screen.”

“The first thing is the [meat] market in Wuhan … is a smoke screen and this virus is not from nature,” Yan claimed, explaining that she got “her intelligence from the CDC in China, from the local doctors.”

The virologist — who claims she did some of the earliest research into COVID-19 last year — has previously accused Beijing of lying about when it learned of the killer bug and engaging in an extensive cover-up of her work.

In April, Yan reportedly fled Hong Kong and escaped to America to raise awareness about the pandemic. She is said to have been hiding over fear for her safety.

Yan had said her former supervisors at the Hong Kong School of Public Health, a reference laboratory for the World Health Organization, silenced her when she sounded the alarm about human-to-human transmission in December last year.

She also claimed that before she fled China, her information was wiped from government databases

The lab has denied that Yan ever “conducted any research on human-to-human transmission” and said her assertions have “no scientific basis.”

Yuan Zhiming, director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology, has previously denied claims that the bug accidentally spread from his facility.

Security and Exchange Commission (SEC)
CelebritiesRapper T.I. Charged By SEC In Cryptocurrency Scam by floss(op): 9:15am On Sep 13, 2020
Rapper T.I. has been charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission with promoting a fraudulent cryptocurrency offering.

The regulator said in its complaint that T.I. -- whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris -- sold cryptocurrency tokens using his Twitter account and encouraged his followers to invest in the 2017 FLiK initial coin offering. He also falsely claimed to be a part-owner, the agency said.

The SEC said the offering was a scam spearheaded by film producer Ryan Felton and, according to Mashable, Felton had promised to build "Netflix on the blockchain" but never delivered.

Instead, Felton used money from investors to drive up the price of a second token, SPARK, which he also controlled, the SEC said. Proceeds from the scheme were used to buy Felton a Ferrari, diamond jewelry, a home, and unspecified "luxury goods," the agency says in its complaint, filed in federal court in Atlanta.

"FLiK's promotional materials further promised that FLiK tokens would be redeemable on the FLiK platform for increasing amounts over the first year, with each FLiK redeemable for $3.99 after the first 3 months, $9.99 after 12 months, and $14.99 after 15 months," the SEC explained. "No FLiK platform ever existed."

According to the SEC, the FLiK initial coin offering raised approximately 539 ether, which was worth around $164,665 on September 20, 2017.

"T.I. also asked a celebrity friend to promote the FLiK ICO on social media and provided the language for posts," the agency noted, "referring to FLiK as T.I.'s 'new venture.'"

Without an admission of any wrongdoing, Harris has agreed to pay $75,000 in a settlement. The 39-year-old will also sit out similar digital asset securities sales for the next five years.

T.I. is not the only celebrity to face regulatory action over cryptocurrency.

In February, actor Steven Seagal agreed to pay $334,000 to settle SEC claims that he failed to disclose he was paid to promote a coin offering; boxer Floyd Mayweather and music producer DJ Khaled agreed to settlements in 2018

[sounds funny]Hmmm....

Such is the nostalgia playing against a great man brings.

Like we all know, most great players have always had a soft spot for Messi in their personal and professional lives because the boy usually evokes the feeling you get when your kid brother is fighting against a bigger fellow who is expected to beat him in one swoop but ends up getting beaten by your kid brother.

That feeling is out of this world...[/quote]
Nairaland GeneralPaul Scholes Ends The Lionel Messi Vs Cristiano Ronaldo Debate Once And For All by floss(op): 10:27pm On Sep 11, 2020
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted that Lionel Messi is the best player he shared the pitch with ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 45-year-old played alongside Ronaldo during the Juventus superstar's illustrious six years at Old Trafford.

Scholes was quick to point out that he shared the pitch with legendary former footballers like Eric Cantona, Zinedine Zidane, Andrea Pirlo and Xavi.

However, the former England international made it clear that he holds Barcelona captain Messi above Ronaldo and the rest of the aforementioned names.

"I think about the great players with whom I have shared a pitch: Eric Cantona, Zinedine Zidane, Pirlo, Xavi, Cristiano Ronaldo -- and the greatest of them all is Messi," Scholes wrote in his column for The Independent.

Scholes, who is regarded as one of the best midfielders of all time, played four times against Messi in his glittering career.

The former Red Devils star clashed with Messi during both legs of the Champions League semi-final in 2008 and in the finals of 2009 and 2011.

But Scholes recalled one instance that he would "never forget" as the 33-year-old Argentine superstar "deceived me into fouling him and I waited for the world to fall in."

He explained in his column: "It was a moment I will never forget. He went past me, I stuck out my leg and Lionel Messi went over.

"This was at Old Trafford in 2008 in the second leg of our Champions League semi-final against Barcelona and, with the score 1-0 to us, I had fouled him in our area.

"When I think about our win over Barcelona in that game, on our way to the second Champions League title of the Sir Alex Ferguson era, I always remember that tackle.

"Yes, I scored the only goal of the tie, and it was one of my better ones. But I will never forget that couple of seconds when the best footballer in the world deceived me into fouling him and I waited for the world to fall in.

"It should have been a penalty to Barcelona, and an away goal would have won them the tie. But for some reason the referee didn't give it, the game moved on and even Messi did not make much of a fuss.

"The relief was overwhelming for a few moments -- and then I was back into the game."

Buliwyf:
Lol. Speaking in tongues is farcical and only worthy of mockery. Especially the ones that Christians practice these days. It's nothing more than gibberish and some patois that you guys use to psych up yourselves and feel you have a communication with some higher power. News flash, you don't!!!

It is telling that none of the tongues spoken these days can be recognised as any form of language by people. The only anecdotal evidence for speaking in tongues makes it known that they actually spoke the languages of the foreign people around them and could be understood. But you guys these days utter rubbish which doesn't even help anyone, not even yourselves.

Every language has the same pattern. You can do a statistical sampling of the words to get their usage frequency and all human languages have the same pattern. Some words are used more frequently than others. Especially articles. Heck, even dolphins' communication patterns almost matches that of humans and that's why it's been theorised that they have language. But you charlatans speaking in tongues, same thing can't be said for you. Your word usage is all over the place and usually you are just repeating the same nonsense over and over. No one can understand you. Not even yourselves.

Lastly, what's the use of your speaking in tongues? You have been speaking in tongues yet your life is not better than the average person that doesn't speak in tongues. You have no special knowledge, no special insights nor special abilities. You are as ordinary as the rest of us and the only thing that seems exceptional about you is your unmatched ability to delude yourself. You remind of those Christ Embassy girls in school that will meet you on the road and ask you to start speaking in tongues immediately. Then in the evening they are off to some guy's house to have the sex of their lives.
you are totally correct, in addition most churches pretend to follow the lives of the early Christians rather than follow the teachings of Jesus Christ but yet they don't practice the right doctrine. The apostles spoke in different tongues (Languages) of which different people around understood the gospel messages being passed in their own language. That was necessary then following the different races and tribes present in Jerusalem then, so the Holy Spirit made the apostles expand the messages to non indigenes and thus the need for the gift of speaking in different tongues.
Note: They never spoke gibberish, unlike what our 21st century born again Christians and Business Men of God (BMG) do...Men Modern Christians bring curses upon themselves and their households in the name of speaking in tongues due to the fact that they want the Holy Spirit to manifest through coercion, Mind you, the Holy Spirit is not a toy to be toiled with..If you are speaking in tongue and you are aware that you are uttering gibberish, my dear better stop for your good, don't bring the wrath of the Holy Spirit upon yourself and your generation.
Since after the apostles, no one has ever spoken in tongue, the reason I said that is because many people don't understand what prompted to speaking in tongue, it is for the purpose of preaching the gospel not individual prayer or public entertainment in the name of revival, crusades, and Virgil that our Business Men of God (BMG) embark on all the time once finance start going down... If a Yoruba man that doesn't understand or speak Swahili meets some one from there, unconsciously start speaking Swahili to the person and message is passed with out him knowing it, that is what SPEAKING IN TONGUE means, it is a gift from the Holy Spirit, it comes and goes before you get back to reality... So you will not know how you were able to speak to the person, it will remain a mystery to you. The person will be surprised next time he or she speaks Swahili to you, you might not be able to understand....That's what speaking in tongue means and not those incantations you speak or hear people speak.....Happy Sunday, Stay Safe and Remain Blessed.
