trinityconcept: Good day fam pls I have 2 questions as regards masters in Germany I just graduated this year and wish to start making preparations 1.i need an insight on the rough estimate it will cost both flight ticket, fees etc will 1milliin naira be enough 2. is it possible to pay for your first session fees hoping to work ND sponsor yourself when u cross I need ur candid advice thanks I will say a little and advice you read page one do the thread and try and read as many pages as possible. There is something called blocked account fee which is compulsory ( except you get student loan or scholarships) that is around 8864 euro (over 3 m) other things put together will not cost you a million. So I will advice you read the thread from page one so that you know the steps to be taken |

bridget149: Pls, when you say send documents. Do you mean sending photocopies by mail. If I'm to apply to 4 schools, approximately how much should I budget?
Thanx Yes oo sending certified copies by mail ( dhl, Fedex, nipost) and dnt forget to print the page from each application. If the 4 schools are on uni assist. Just send a copy of each document. A copy will be used for all The evaluation. |

AyoPrudence: Right! I learnt the process involved with uni-assist can be tedious. Anyone here with experience on using uniassist should kindly put me through o.. Some of the university I intend applying to for summer asked me to use uniassist. Well it isn’t tedious at all. It’s just a due process they have. I will advice you pay as quickly as you can, send your certified/ notarized documents which I believe you must have uploaded on their platform and leave the rest to them. Different school with different requirements. They will evaluate based on what the school requests for. And forward to the school when done. All you need do here is pay, send your documents and be very patient. Mine took less than 3 weeks after sending doc to uni assist. Yours might take longer but just be patient. |

Gentlelord: Hello Deutschlanders ,
I am new to this thread and It's my first time posting here. I have exhaustively gone through this part 5 thread from page 1 to the current page, and I wholeheartedly appreciate everyone contributing here, may you guys get your AM as soon as possible Amen. Much thanks goes to those our brothers and sisters over there that take time out of their tight schedule to respond to issues here, may you people never be forgotten Amen.
I studied Mechanical Engineering in my BSc level and hope to pursue my masters program over there for the 2019/2020 Academic session, in one of the Diverse fields of Mechanical Engineering, Engineer Management or Renewable Energy.
I have thoroughly ransacked through the DAAD and Mastersportal platforms (to the best of my knowledge lol) and have shortlisted out some schools and courses I plan applying to study e.g
Europa-Universität Flensburg - Energy and Environmental Management University of Siegen - International Graduate Studies in Mechatronics TU Dortmund - Automation and Robotics TU Dortmund - Manufacturing Technology Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt - Renewable Energy Systems TU Munchen - Management and Technology Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences - Mechanical Engineering South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences - Systems Engineering and Engineering Management
There are 7 Schools 8 courses above, on the DAAD platform, they are taught in English and require proficiency in English, and for the case of TU Dortmund, I learnt GRE is also a key perquisite for admission.
please guys I would sincerely want your advice, information as well as personal experience (for those schooling there) as regards this schools and their host state in terms of ease of securing admission, Adaptation, job opportunities and socialization, because I intend to prune the list down a bit.
I pray I get a Scholarship to help pursue this dream because raising at least 8000 EUR is very sweet lol (make I gv myself hope)
So sorry for the length (I wan make una know where I for dey come and where I dey go)
I love the unity and oneness here, Thanks guys as you respond. My advice which I believe a lot of people here will agree and echo is that try as much as possible to apply to as many school as you can. People here have gotten 10 rejections and all sort so your chances are in the numbers. Apply to a lot and when you have more than one admission which I pray you do, you can then choose to decide which to go but for now. Just keep applying |

tolulopeojuola: Hi Guys,
Just got an admission for the Masters in Economic Behaviour and Governance at the University of Kassel and I want to schedule an appointment at the embassy. I'd like pointers on what to expect. Hi nice meeting a fellow Kassel faithful. From the gist around and from personnel experience and from what I heard from the customer desk of the embassy. No more interview date for winter. I will advise you mail master@kassel and studienren@kassel. Ensure both of them are included in your mail and ask to defer as the latest time to defer is before nov 1st. So that you can prep in advance for summer semester. Just my own advice ooooo. |

Actually it’s 418 at black market. For me I think using dorm account is better. I used it. And thou you will send twice but it wud drop in less than 24 hours. |

dipole2018: Hello guys, great work on this thread. I have been reading the thread for quite a few days now and I have really learnt alot. I just got a date for my interview to study in Gottingen. My date is still in August. I need assistance in getting some clarity in the following issues below. Help will really be appreciated.
Regarding the checklist of documents,
1. I'm I to go with the real transcript from my school ? I don't have the original printed transcript, I lost it, but I still have a scanned copy on my hard disk. Can I go ahead and print it in colored then stamp it in a court ? I'm asking this cause I'm aware that the paper's texture of the original transcript from my school is different from normal A4 paper.
2. Can I also use a printed soft copy of my admission letter ? My school sent the soft copy while I'm still expecting the hard copy. I used it in booking my appointment for my visa but can I also tender it as the original should I not have gotten it till my interview date ?
3. My Motivation letter and C.V can/should be exactly the same as the ones I used during my admission application right ? The only difference is that my Motivation letter should be handwritten correct ?
I just need to be really sure of all these before my interview as it would go along way in boosting my confidence on that day. 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. No check for visa motivational letter online . Ps when did u apply to the embassy for interview date |
