Hey all. Been a while. This is just to motivate everyone here. Don’t give up. I started reading up on NL by March which was when I decided to come to DE. Renewed passport, applied for school, got rejections and later got admission to Kassel to study the course I wanted.

Interview went well, collection of visa became wahala with 2 extension gotten from my school, old passport was stamped and then I had to wait for process again while mailing school and alien office with good response and support from them. Naija embassy frustrated me but all in all. I got my visa, am in DE, missed 3 days of lecture but I am to the pace now.
We are Nigerians and can pick up. It’s safe here and everything works

Ps. Delete your torrent app before coming here as this can get you a fine of 950 euro or more.

Be focused don’t give up and please you all should read.

You can ask few things from the visa stage but all in all my advice is put effort and you will come out great.
I have met people here that used agent and got courses they don’t want and now they don’t even know how to apply. I explained in my little way but told them I can’t start applying for you here. All man busy for him own lane. All blacks that see you will greet you. We r minority and always happy to see someone of your skin colour ( for my city) I am always available to give little info I can. Am just a month in DE. One love guyz

Yes very possible but you will easily get a job if you can speak the language. So learn the language well and job will come easy

Hi do you have your transcript and did you do any laboratory course that is up to 10 credits. That’s what I believe they are asking for. Get a detailed transcript from your school. With grade and course explanations along with the unit of each course. I believe this should be okay

Well I understand what you are going through but I advice you pray. I kept pressure on my alien office and embassy sent my documents 3 weeks after my interview. I got AM a week after it was approved by the embassy and now my deadline is Monday and o got a mail yesterday to bring my enrollment extension which I already sent as a mail to the embassy. So just be hopeful

As no one reply my message. Special [b][/b] advice to everyone. If you get Am after your enrollment deadline. Please print your enrollment extension and submit it along with your passport to save you emergency stress. I got a mail today that is meant to be my travel date that I should bring my enrollment extension and that was after I had sent it as a mail to them before. Still waiting to hear back from them. I have submitted the hard copy and still forwarded the mail and stated that I am flying today. Abeg who get another number I can call. The normal number is not being picked. Thank you

Please for those that have enrollment extension. Is it by email or they issue you a new admission letter

Hey bro calm down. Reaching people privately is not your solution. As suggested above. Do yourself a big favor by reading from page one. That way you will have enough information and if you need to ask any questions it will be an informed one and people will be willing to ans then. If you read back some pages you will see the information on page one there again so please try and read. We all did

Who are most people and how did you come to that conclusion? Did you also use it for your interview at the embassy?
I screamed "shut up" because I felt the guy was misleading people just like you are trying so hard to do.

The embassy says (original) WAEC certificate and not a certified true copy.
If you used a print out for your interview at the embassy (which I doubt you did) and it worked for you, everyone else might not get so lucky.

At this point you have lost my respect with the shut up. The fact that you assumed something in your head doesn’t mean it is right. I said I used something and it worked for me and lots of people during my interview and you keep saying it is wrong. Well this is a public forum. And it will do you good to improve your communication skill. You can disagree without being disrespectful

Am sorry but Embassy never insisted on original waec. Please let’s not give false information I have attached a picture. The online print out is from waec and I used it

Did you use printed out waec result to apply to universities in Germany? If so, please list them. Cus this is one of the reasons dy reject people’s application. I will advise the guy to go bck to his secondary school and get his original waec result to be on the safe side

3. If I understand you well ( you mean evidence of finance eg blocked account, Sl or scholarships) all of them are very okay

I dnt think anyone can ans this for you because we dnt knw your course, Gp, what your motivation letter looks like and all. even if we do there are soo many school and we all can only speak about the once we encountered so my advice is make research. Apply to a lot. Work hard for that co it won’t come cheap and read from page one. You might see someone with your Gp get admission in a school of your choice

I came across this thread early February of this year and it has been really helpful to me. There was no day I didn't scroll through this thread to get as much information as I could. Initially, I was a silent reader. I applied to all 3 schools that I shortlisted without asking any question here, because all the questions I could have asked, I found answers to them on previous pages. In May, I decided it was time to crawl out of my shell and contribute the much I could. In all that time till now, I have learnt a lot, I have made some new friends and I'm sure I have helped some people too. My journey since February has just entered the next stage as I have just received my stamped passport.

I want to thank everybody who has been contributing to this thread, especially those I PMed as I was preparing for visa interview and asked "silly" questions like "do I need to photocopy prepaid envelope?! " ( the fear of Paulinus they say, is the beginning of wisdom! Lol).

To all those still waiting for AM, it will come!

For those still starting their journey, it will do you a world of good to start from at least page 1 of this part 5 and catch up. If there's a principle I learnt growing up, it is - if you want to achieve something, make sure u give it time everyday. Focus, and you will achieve it.

Congrats how long after submitting your passport did you get it back

For whatever reason it took that long, I don't know but to the glory of God it came which is the most important thing right now.

From someone that never believed that it was possible to get a Visa without the help of an agent or agency, I pour out my heartfelt gratitude to everyone on this platform that made it possible for us to scale through the numerous hurdles without being found wanting. God bless you all.

The plan for masters had always been next year, and I was looking at Canada and US. But going through their nairaland forum to see how they were dashing people rejection sha, I had to do a U-turn ...until someone advised people there to stop killing themselves and wasting money but to try Germany, that a good number of courses are taught in English (information that I didn't have before), then I decided to check for my course in Germany via DAAD, and behold I found the course though in a Private University but with a cheaper tuition compared to Canada and USA.
This was in April. So that was when my running around started, with the loads of info here it was so smooth and timely, except waiting for AM sha. Even though enrollment and lectures resumed today, I was able to get extension till the end of the month.

Application for Admission: 2nd May, 2018
Admission letter: 18th May, 2018
Application for Visa Interview Date: 18th May, 2018
Visa Interview: 26th July 2018
AM: 10th September 2018
School: Hochschule Fresenius, Idstein (Private)
Course: International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics
State: Hessen

Meanwhile I took my passport and travel insurance to embassy today today ...I no wan hear plenty stories.

P.S.: For the Axa Mansai travel insurance, just follow the steps given by Honourable Seyi, it is very easy. In 10mins I got my insurance document sent to my mail, and I paid with my ATM card. N17k

Hello elder state men, please my question may sound funny but its important, when the embassy ask you to send your passport and travel insurance, after your AM do u take it to the embassy your self or you send it via courier service.

If you are in Lagos you can go and drop it yourself around 10 or 11am or you can courier it especially if you are outside Lagos
