I don't think you are right on this. We are not more tribalistic than the rest tribes in Nigeria. GEJ is not an lgbo man. He will fail in Igbo land, especially, Abia State where he failed to perform.

I've always said that GEJ's biggest problem is not the APC, but his biggest problem are the people around him and his media aides. They are playing to the gallery of the APC. GEJ has made some very good achievements that some Nigerians are not even aware of. Yesterday, I told one man that GEJ has built 125 almajiri schools in the north (which no other president had done) and the man found it hard to believe. The likes of Doyin Okupe should be showcasing his achievements instead of making it look like he's relying on religion or ethnic sentiment. The opposition on the other hand is very vocal. You don't expect them to tell you the achievements of GEJ, instead they'd look at his fault, exaggerate it and keep singing it to the people. Overtime the people would know more of GEJ's faults than his achievements. That is exactly what has happened. And it's all the fault of GEJ's media men.

Ok. The governor of Benue state performed woefully. But Benue is one of those states that would massively return GEJ in the presidential elections. I'd tell you why. Benue falls into that category of the North that feels the hausa's/fulani's always want to marginalize them. They also gain from this present arrangement, as their son (David Mark ) is the number 3 man in the country. If GMB wins, that could be altered. PDP may lose the governorship of benue because of Suswam's failure, but I can bet you GEJ would win in Benue.

I still emphasise, that PDP is taking the campaign down to the rural areas, giving the people rice and other things. That is where the votes come from not from the internet.

I've always said the North would be the deciding factor here. The number of Votes GEJ would win in the South east ans South south will be more than the number of votes he'd lose in the south west.

Don't think the north is one dimensional. The North is divided into three. There's the core (Hausa) north. There's the north that hates been associated with anything Hausa as they see themselves as being marginalised greatly by the hausas, there's a Christian north that (unfortunately) are not enlightened enough to put aside religious sentiments. The northern votes wouldn't go massively for GMB, you'd be suprised at the number of votes GEJ would pull out of the north.

No where in the world has elections been won online. I remember when George Bush was going for second term, 80% of americans voted him out online, but in real life he won the election. The internet is filled with so many people who are not even registered voters, and most of the comments you read online are still from the Lagos people. APC is winning the online polls, but PDP is going into rural areas where the people don't even know GMB or GEJ, sensitizing the people on how to vote, and giving them rice at the end of the day, those people would vote for PDP. Both parties have adopted different strategies, but if you ask me, PDP's strategy would yield more results at the polls because that's where it matters. Elections are won in the field not online.

That's what a pastor should say. It places him in a neutral position and doesn't translate to mean that he's urging Christians not to vote for GEJ. If you look at it in that direction, you could also interpret it to mean that he's urging muslims and northerners not to vote for GMB.

The pastor just placed himself in a neutral position.

You people should stop this trash. It is nauseating and divisive. I can wager my next 50 breaths the man never called for "christians" not to vote for Jonathan. If he says, as you wrote, "Nigeria is too big for Jonathan", then I've got no problems with that. But I think your trying to twist it saying he "asked christians not to vote for Jonathan" is totally misleading and in very bad taste.

I hate it when people try to blend politics with religion even if it seems to favour my choice. The mixture is too damn volatile for comfort.

First of all, I am not a prophet so this is not a prophecy. Secondly, I am not a politician neither am I sympathetic to any political party. All I want is for our country to be great again.

Here is my dream; few days to the end of December 2014, I had a dream concerning the outcome of the coming election. In the dream, I saw 2 things clearly:

1. PDP won Lagos State
2. APC won the Presidential election

Like I said, this is not a prophecy but a dream I had and wish to share with fellow Nairalanders. If these things happen, I may have to change my name to Joseph
