Vivalavida99: Sweetmelon, you ain't far from the truth. The thirstiness of today's men/guys is beyond believe. And like you rightly said, you can be Kardashian, you can be mother Theresa, you can Brittney, but what will be will surely be. Dig that?Well you cannot for example, be looking delicious like that and expect me for example to see you and not be thirsty or hungry sef ![]() |

"Of all times"? Heck David the psalmist should make the list! These are just the ones you know. Mine in no particular order, according to genres I favour: 1. Bob Marley- raggae god 2. Michael Jackson- king of pop 3. Celine Dion- soul/blues momma. Unique piercing soulful voice plus she sings in french! 4. The Beatles- rock and roll hall of fame 5. Dolly Parton- country music has seen no finer artiste. Well female singer. Unique voice as well. 6. Tupac Shakur- rap king 7. Enya- folk and ballad... The African greats: 8. Yossou Ndour 9. Fela 10. Yvonne Chaka Chaka The other ones worthy of mentioned but couldnt squeeze into the list: Madonna. Beethoven: Shoulda been in the list but classical music isn't exactly hot now. Cold Play, My Cold Play! Nas Kenny Rogers Whitney Houston |

Tangible dreams. Sola his long time crush. Here she was, lying on top of him, her face so close to his. He felt her warm breath against his cheeks and his member bulged. She drew herself up. Her bosoms resting on his chest, rising and falling to match his heart beat. His eyes found her lips pink, inviting, and it wasn't long before his mouth covered it taking all she had to offer and asking more. True he was hungry. He was dying and she was his food. |

Jydebauer: This is the same National Enquirer that broke the news of an alleged relationship between Obama and Vera Baker in 2010. For crying out loud, the suppossed cause of this latest 'trouble' in the Obama marriage took place in public. It's not as if Michelle stumbled upon Barrack and the Danish PM in a compromising position behind the bushes of the rose garden or something. Give us a break National Enquirer.Abi o. No b say she catch dem under the sheets, them no embrace, dem no kiss. True it seemed they were both flirting, when did that become a ground for divorce? |
Limerick. There was a man named Jonathan Who travelled to Manhattan All to ring a bell Twas funny as hell When he was hailed by his clan. A president nicked Jonathan Had head light like raft He swore he had no shoes Had never tasted booze Till he showed us his craft Disclaimer: I dont hate GEJ, i just felt like this at the time |
D9ty7: Am speechless. Are you Wole Soyinka or Sola Owonibi? stefikal: Wow!Nah. Im just a regular guy o. I didnt think it was good. Glad you both like it. |
Written in church during a fiery sermon SALVATION CATHEDRAL Pulpit of glass sits on cement Words of brass hit the pavement Our hearts the smelting forge Where guilt seeped through every gorge. If ever muffled groaning be amplified Of conscience convicted and minds vilified This sober cathedral would erupt like a volcano He the first falling domino Father I have sinned Prodigal son cringed Penitent pleading amid teary eyes That the lowliest redemption would suffice Great was the emancipation Talk of mercy precipitation So uncumbered from things past He breathed free at last |

It's not just christmas. Nigerians adore rice. Sometimes it feels like there's no other food. And it's cheap and easy to prepare. Large bowl of jollof rice with one piece of chicken sitting like a king on a throne pon it or two pieces of meat hinged like horns on white rice Ali and Simbi style...and ppl are good to go ![]() |
Afam4eva: I don't know why people are surprised that Christmas is called similarly in different languages when Christmas in itself is imported and has no roots in any African culture. So, since there were no particular words in these languages that could appropriately mean "Christmas", it's just pronounced with the intonation of whichever language. It's just as Jesus is "jesu" or "yesu" in a lot of languages.Yeah right. Kill-joy! ![]() |
butt-kissing thread. Only here, we're kissing oga's butt |
Women notice all these right away? |
maureen5: and i forgot, don't date a girl older than youbecause...? |
See em getting worked up and defensived. Darn experts at deflecting issues. |
I don't know why some ppl try to force their own norms and ideos on others. He should not date someone older yet you can perhaps date and hump a man old nuf to father you? There are many successful relationships out there where the lady is older and you wont know till they tell you. There are no clear lines of principles or rules in this life, what's poison for one is meat for another. @OP. She obviously still likes you. She's gone past denial and actually wants to try against her earlier inclination. Whether your show of wealth influenced the decision doesn't matter. It shows you're financially of age. Just go along with the flow and enjoy your life. Date whoever you wanna date as,long as that person makes you happy. |
This should be on the fp |
Self righteous people on this thread plenty sha Was the AK47 the first gun to be invented? Was it even the first weapon of destruction? That gun was made with the best intentions at heart, it was supposed to help 'save' his country, protect his people. How can you blame a man and his creation clearly made for the possibly best intentions just because mankind have been wicked enough to use it for evil? If you must blame anybody to be honest, blame God for making man. For giving him the will to choose his path. Ask him to end life on earth. Because even without this gun, way before it was made, wars were fought, people were killed. It only takes common sense to know that to save yourself, you need to create something that's greater than what your enemy's got. So pls keep damning his soul to hell, but remember that his so called 'evil' creation may as well be the reason most of you are even existing at all to type this nonsense.
You ma'am are one of the most sensible ppl here. Btw, I love your siggy |
I'm a liverpool fan but it saddens me the way Moses plays. We had our dip in form when Coutinho was injured and he had to play. His pace whenever we're counter-attacking is surprisingly low, and he's fond of passing into impossible areas. No will to press forward, he just plays it back to the left back or the DMF. Even when he dribbles, it's not clean--the sort of dribbles where he forces wide that he himself has to recover. And the one that gets me is his hygiene...always hacking up phlegm and spitting all over the pitch! |
