saintandsinnerz: Being tall is good but it shouldn't be the major criterial for a woman to consider in choosing a partner. Again it's wrong for a woman to reject a man just because he is not as tall as she wants. Back then, a female friend of mine rejected a man that seeked her hand in marriage just because the man was not quite tall as she wants them, but the irony and funny thing was that, other men that came for her thereafter were shorter than the first man she rejected on account of his height! And now he ended up marrying one of them.LEGEND OF THE SEEKER TIAUN ![]() |

Simples! The journey from birth to death; bearing experiences of mirth and dearth; our struggle on this terrestial ball; with fleeting fancies before we fall... All of these speak of life, our laboured lives. |

Hmm. @op. I understand. I've been in your shoes. But I never had this problem. The trick is to act matured yourself. You can be 18 and have the demeanour of a 25-yr old. If God blessed you with the right physique to boot, they'd be in your arms before they know you're their mate or younger. I've heard some of them say guys of their age aren't just emotionally mature or financially capable or worse—reasonable. Although there is some element of truth in this, (some of our folk, even older ones are incredibly dumb), fact remains their superior worldly wisdom/earlier experience with sensuality does not always translate to superior maturity. That being said, except you're Wizkid or Davido or will be, you should know that there are more important things. You should focus more on your studies and developing yourself. Financial maturity is what counts eventually. |

Mr shroud: A president who did this and a president who did that!Of course he's not an animal but I can tell you from the little I know bout leadership that the leader SHOULD be 'better' than his/her followership. By better I mean He should be more responsible, more accountable and even more knowledgable. A leader will be criticised. he's ABSOLUTELYanswerable to the followership. We need a leader who has answers to the questions we can solve ourselves. GEJ unfortunately has proved a situational leader who is just as clueless as most of the citizenry. |
Symphony007: i just said boldly on my post that i am a major critic of nigerian corruption and underdevelopment but i don't mbeki to tell me.I find this amusing. You admit the problem but you're angry that a foreigner could tell these bitter home truths. But you should expect more to come. If we don't fix our Nigeria, Goodness knows Mugabe will still tell us these things! |

I marvel at this sort of self-delusion displayed by those attacking Mbeki's personality and ignoring what he's said. If your house is on fire and sb whose house is also burning points it out to you, will you let your family burn, waiting for that person to put out the fire in his own house? Won't you look after your own? Seriously the cliche that he comes to equity must come with clean hands is just bullcrap! If other supposedly corrupt leaders can say this much about the stink in our own yards, then maybe we're the ones who stink most. |
Symphony007: you can continue cause your comments and barage of name calling shows your IQ level. Nigeria has problems so does south africa. I'm a major critic of nigeria's problems but i don't need mbeki to lecturer my country on development. He should keep it to himself. What moral high ground does he have to make such comments? And what has the comments achieved? Has what he said made anything better? But why discredit the messager and ignore the message? |
