Seriously, I don't know the type of clay God use in creating us.
Tell Nigerians a particular thing over and over they will continue to do the opposite.
Greed is the number one problem of so many Nigerians be it politically, religiously, academically, and otherwise.
I pray God help us.

But come ooo, what is so difficult in removing power from exclusive list to concurrent list thereby empowering state government to go into massive power infrastructures upgrading, generating and distribution thereby selling the excess ones to states that are under- supplied.
Or help each States to go into public private partnership with power building companies to build power plant be it gas, coal or solar powered ones, with this Nigeria will be power sufficient in fees years to come.
I know power plants are capital intensive but the amount of money stolen by our politicians could have done that conveniently.

CoronaVirusPro post:

We talking about the President of a Nation here being in the frontlines. That's not leadership but stupidity. He is not a combatant, Airforce nor Navy. Putting life at risk to such an extent is stupidity.

Only in Africa would you commend such. With all the experts at his disposal, he choose to go to the fronts. Let's imagine a shoot-out happens and he dies, will you say he died as a brave man?

Where is it done in any industry or terrain where a leader who lacks expertise and compentency in a division, take charge.

Like I stated earlier, it's just like applauding MTN CEO for climbing a 100 meter tower because their is a major outage.

It's outrightly stupidity. Nothing warrants him to be in the fronts.

Since you have decided to use the MTN CEO and the telecommunication mast; let us also use a husband and his wife with 6 children- 4 beautiful and well grown ladies with two boys. Imagine Arm robbers broke into the house and the husband decide to hide on the bedroom passing information through the wife to the robbers, what do think will happen to the 4 girls if care is not taken?
Talking abt not staying with the troops in the bush, who told you that the president stays there for a longtime?
2 days or 1 day is OK to boost the moral of the soldiers. Mind you this is internal war not external.
And who says the president take charge of the attack?
He is there for few hours to see for himself how things really work and if there is any major governance deficiencies with the infantry soldiers who are mainly those fighting this war then he can correct it .

In this particular case, I think it is more about indiscipline than poverty. This is the Lekki area, not Ajegunle or Mushin.
Moreover, not many poor people will be driving around in their cars.
Government needs to make an example of some these irresponsible upper middle class folks by sending them to the quarantine centers for a day and having them bail themselves out with hefty fines which should then be used to provide palliatives for the poor.

I agree with you .

Apart from poverty , we don't know how to relax for leisure in naija.

I agree with you but how can we relax when our currency is worthless.
if you go to the market with let say 7000naira, at the end you will even quarrel with yourself cos what you have inside your bag will not equate in any way to the amount of money spent; because of this, Nigerians hustle as if tomorrow no dey.

I know Nigerians will not obey this lockdown for full two weeks because of poverty.
All the politicians that have brought up this lockdown have stored their houses with foods and drinks that can last for 4 to 5 months leaving the poor class to suffer.
We have in this country 10percent upperclass,30percent middle-class and 60 percent very lower class. Now tell me how the very lower class will suvive after 5 days of lockdown.

PDP should shut the hail up.
They are in the same league with APC.
Many Nigerians that are shouting corruption given the same position will be as corrupt as the people we have now.
Imagine on the first day of lockdown, I went to buy something which normally cost 120naira and the man told me that the new price is 150naira and I didn't complain since it was a new stock but going the next day to buy from that same old stock, he tell me that it is now 200naira.
You see how greedy an average Nigerian is? Alway making things difficult for his/ her fellow country men.
We the electorates are the main problem in this country.

Mind you the only time they will run from such is if it is well know that the money have been dip inside a corona virus solution.
