While I'll also keep pushing all OUK Northern alliances towards front page. We need the two. |

Etrusen: wow yeah to be honest. When i went to akwa ibom I faced serious igbophobia from the indigenous people especially their females who swore never to marry an igbo man whereas their males liked igbo girls and to roll with igbo guys stories have been passed down generation to generation that one igbo man who married from there used the lady for blood money rituals, after she died he went back to the east to marry an igbo woman and enjoy his new found family with proceeds from blood money of his previous partner. So the prejudice and fear haven't died even till now. So it's always wise to know or have a slight experience of a location before you move over there. So you don't regret your decision ( based on what you're looking for ). So I can't really say which state I'd like to relocate to, UNTIL something carry me go the state on a short visit and after my return, I will want to go back. |

What they never bothered to tell anyone is why they are so scared about the break up of Nigeria? Why do they want to be in one country with people they do not trust with power? I can bet tunde donut has no in-depth understanding of Nigeria politics. If he fears biafra break away should a SE emerge president, pray didn't boko haram war to carve out an Islamic State from Nigeria get to the peak in 2014 when they held several local governments across three North-eastern states? So how come till now boko haram hasn't seceded with an Islamic State after Buhari won party ticket and president of Nigeria?? Silly analysis |

In all fairness APC and PDP should zone their presidential ticket to South East, since all 6 zone are children of Nigeria. But the constant insults and agitation by Ipob is what most people are afraid of, you can't keep insulting those that will fight and vote for you to produce the next president. the boko haram war instigated to carve out an Islamic State from Nigeria was at its peak when buhari was elected as flag bearer of APC and even went on to emerge president of Nigeria. So what are you saying Has boko haram carved out an Islamic State from Nigeria ever since he ascended aso rock six-seven years ago |

fergie001: Contesting is OK....they won't use my money, would they?
Is that what it is about? The way things are going sef.......SE might not even get anything from both sides sef.
If the North retains power in APC, it is likely a SS-VP (or at worse another SW-VP), less likely. If they give it to SW, automatically, another Southerner is off. You & I know the APC won't zone it to the SE.
If the PDP zones it to the North (which is likely), a SS might be VP, if you do gra gra..they dash you VP and sabotage you from behind like 2019.
You contest for President under PDP...they make sure you lose.
All I am trying to say is we should concentrate on our home-front a bit. At home, we are not doing fine, and we seem to say the FG is responsible for everything.
Let us build our base to be stronger from scratch. Dem Don see us finish.
Even if the APC gives OUK or Rochas today, I know many SEners that won't even vote them.
Maybe Obi or Umahi...but they are no where near National Appeal.
So, my brother.....let us go back home and re-strategise. You're talking from several fronts and not making actual sense. |

fergie001: This is politics not a motivational conference.
You pick a SE candidate for now, in opposition.....you will be shattered into pieces. Most of those people giving motivational statements up there, ask them why their zone didn't field anyone in APC in 2015. Why was it zoned to the North...especially North-West.
They said it was to complete Yar'adua's tenure, then why is it not going to SS to complete GEJ's tenure.
You can dare to dream (according to my Pastor in Ibadan), but this is politics, there is no morality here.
PDP had all the chance whilst in power, for now, it is not feasible. what are you trying to say? That North should rule 16 years uninterrupted? 2015-2023(APC) & 2023-2031(PDP)? |

Angelfrost: You are right bro... However, this is a management issue. I wonder why they didn't get a legend to act as sports director, someone like Van Der Sar, Andy Cole, or Dwight Yorke have the experience to scout great players in needed positions, and get rid of underperforming players at the right time for good fees.
It's a terrible thing for a huge club to be so poorly managed.
Woodward's current reluctance is due to the poor business they have been doing in the transfer market for years now. I understand that is the problem. And he has himself to blame for that because he was approving the buying of mis-fit players who are good quality but don't fit the "plan". He should pay for his past cluelessness by bringing in a director. Now he is trying to tutor himself in that role or position as director of football. How one man is so power-hungry shocks me to be honest. You are a banker why don't you remain in financial sector and allow directors oversee the purchase and sales of players, harmonize the acquision of players along the lines of the club's path. He was never a player under sir, I beg your pardon but I doubt he was even a board member in fergie's glorious years. He knows nothing about those dreamy days. The club now has to pay for his inexperience by staying out of the dungeon for about 7years now due to his inexperience managing a club. Right now he's moulding himself into director of football position but it still nauseates me cause I don't have confidence in him getting it right. Las las if he doesn't get that CB and RWF(sancho only), he will have himself to blame because it will be another trophyless season and the club will keep losing respect and prestige. Summary of my rant; Get yourself a director of football. But if you want to play that role all by yourself, then take off mr jones, smalling, pereira/lingard, then sign CB and RWF |

Angelfrost: Man United hasn't done that badly... They actually need fewer signings than Chelsea.
My issue with them is being so slow in losing the sluggards in that club.
In the absence of Sancho, they should secure an alternatively good winger to back up Greenwood. Please I don't want any alternative. They should sign Sancho. Did Chelsea get an alternative of havertz, or chilwell or werner or ziyech. They got exactly those who they wanted. Why is man utd now trying to act like they are broke. 120million is it far from the bogus amount havertz was signed? They should stop letting paranoia about Sanchez disrupt this beautiful deal. Jersey sales alone in two seasons can return that 120million because of th hype around sancho. Please this is not a case of bvb not wanting to sell because they've clearly stated 120million or nothing. United should stop acting like they are broke. After getting an alternative now, when the coach underwhelms they'll quickly sack him. Man United is faster in sacking coaches than in removing deadbeat players and signing good ones. What is pereira mata lingard jones still doing in that club? One of the first three players must go while jones must go too. A CB and RWF must be signed. Smalling will get sold. We need another CB because bailly is injury prone and if lindelof gets some suspension or injury we will have to deal with tuanzebe and deadbeat fosu mensah right there. How these two idiots keep hiding in United first team for over 3years beats me but they've never played 5 matches in a whole season between them. It is all about injury or they are not good enough to be featured, but they get paid and United keep signing defenders. Everything about that club disgusts me. I just read today Chelsea has director of football, shebi you see man u life? This call for director of football gets drowned everytime it rises just because of the desire of woodward to play a role in a position he has no knowledge about, and he keeps showing his inexperience on each occasion. Oboy man u matter don tire me sha. They have developed a habit of deadline transfers too, denying the new player an opportunity to practise with his new teammates and gel into the playing pattern, forget about fernandez, every player is no fernandez. The club just stinks, to imagine 5 players were signed yet Chelsea finished same points with us without signing any player. Now they've signed about 5more we even find it difficult to go beyond 1signing. Las las like I said he top 4 fight we dey engage. And hope for at least a round 16 UCL exit, then pray for either of FA or capital 1 Cup which will be hilarious to imagine us winning btw, not with city, arsenal and Chelsea resurgence. |

pavoda: The Bold is a big mentality issue for you and most Nigerians. Its made it impossible for us to demand accountability from government, have i seen you complain about the main issue which is that fuel prices should have dropped to at least cushion the effect of the pandemic? Since the government didn't offer any safety nets like other nations that import petrol? Or you think you don't know anybody suffering wherever you are? Leave matter for Matthias de Ligt. That condemnation has been trashed. No point flogging a dead horse. This matter started way back from 2005 and I personally don't understand why our leaders had not fixed it all the while they were in corridors of power as Senate presidents, minister for aviation, secretary to FG, etc, even had close relationship with former minister for petroleum, et cetera. Had it been resolved then ( the issue of broken fuel depot in SE ), there would not have been a lopsided effect of this increase in fuel pump price in the SE. Please let's learn to critique our own leaders where they fail short of their responsibilities. |
