imperiouxx: Why should they need a US address if they got many international students? Mind saying the name of the school? Well, ask a family/friend if you got one in the US to help you with his/her address. And if you don't have any alternative, you move forward and leave them with their problem. They lost a prospect student.

olarwarlay: @flynbird - I thought U were supposed to apply after writing your toefl test. And before I forget, did U remember to put the names of the school U want ets to send ur official toefl result to when filling the form?

bigfrancis21: Not really. I'm surprised your school demands a local address. You'll have to know what to do. Or you can write them telling them you don't have one let's see if they'll accept your Nigerian address.

olarwarlay: @flynbird - I understand what Justwise was trying to say, you know some people actually come here to advertise some agents and not all these agents are real. So i fink it's just a rule so that people's interest would be protected and not to be duped by some so-called fake agents. Like i said in my previous post, try and Google agents in lagos 'coz i actually did that before i decided on which one to go for and i'll also advice you visit the Agent's office and see things for yourself before paying for the test. Don't just pay money into an account and hope to get the registration done.... Dubious people are all over the place.... BEST OF LUCK!

olarwarlay: @flynbird, I'll advise You check the centres in lagos if You have somewhere to stay like a day to the test. I registered mine at a centre in lagos, I got March 8 and I paid 35k for the registration. I already tried registering myself on the ets website too buh couldn't continue 'coz I have a Mastercard and the site only accepts the Visa card, so all I did was just give the Registration centre my ets Id & password & they paid. I got the confirmation email the 3rd day.

winbyforce: @flynbird,why don't you choose a center in lagos? when no dates are available in ibadan,it means the seats are filled up for the exams, and you'l have to check the site every other day for the next available dates in Ibadan(probably May).If you really want it fast,you might have to consider a lagos center.

ferdimako: If there is no test dates in Ibadan, phone registration won't make it appear.Check another location and book.I doubt paying with Nigerian debit card.It doesn't work.

ferdimako: Go to ETS site, select your intended exam venue and next until you see a date.They have different dates at different centers.Jos center is getting busier now.Can you pay with a Nigerian debit card? I paid for my brother last April with an America credit card even when am in Jos.Imagine what we go through and the mistrust is what is making agents to charge N15K profit. I paid N27,000 which was 175USD equivalent and but help came from a family. So if you get a test date, fill out the form and give the username and password to who will pay for you. However,I don't know if u can pay with our debit card like British Council does on IETLS.

I'm trying to register for Toefl exam. I reside in ibadan and would like to take the exam in ibadan, but when I checked toefl website it says there are no dates available for ibadan. What does this mean? Here's a look of what I saw...
